[OOC:] When the song ends and he dips Chloe, he'll get his sight.

Lute danced with the lark, keeping time with the music as it reached hits climax just as the moon began to rise, snow beginning to fall. Finally the song came to its end, the blind dipping the girl, as the steps required. But something was odd. His vision was lightening. He began to see streaks of light, then color, until his vision was restored. He blinked a little and slowly rose Chloe back to her feet as his newly healed, chocolate brown eyes studied the lark in front of him. What just happened?

Luke watched as the lady walked by as well, following her with his eyes. He tried to figure out what she was dressed as. It had become a little game for him to try and figure these things out while he waited to leave.

Yumi followed the wolf over to a table. She sat down in the chair he had pulled out for her, thanking him as she did.

Yumi giggled softly. "That and it's a masquerade ball. It'd defeat the point of the party."

Lute looked to the lark, wondering why her presence felt so familiar. He then gently took a lock of her golden hair between his fingers, stroking it some. Then he recognized it. The satin luxury of those golden waves. Chl... Chloe?"

Luke watched the woman before she sat and he had to look away. Her costume was rather nice, but he wasn't really a cat person. Nor was he a party person, so it fit wonderfully. He sighed some, leaning in his chair, though he found himself glancing over his shoulder once more at her.

Yumi thought some, twiddling her thumbs. "Well... I really like snow leopards. They look so graceful and their fur is so soft and pretty. Besides. My mom got me a little snow leopard toy when I was a kid. I've loved it ever since."

Lute watched as Chlow tilted his mask up, revealing his face. It was the boy alright. He slowly tilted hers up to find her face. It was stunning. Well a lot of things were currently, but her face was by far the most beautiful thing he had seen so far.

Luke saw the woman look back over at him and he blushed a tad, turning his head back around, his short, choppy red hair swishing slightly as he did.

Yumi blushed a little and shook her head some. color=violet]"I doubt that's true. Many people don't think that. Especially one guy I know."

Lute nodded some, rubbing the back of his neck a little. "It's really odd. I don't remember anything odd except waking up with a horrible taste in my mouth." he said, looking back to Chloe.

Luke looked up at Kaya as she came over anstood before them, asking for a dance. He suddenly felt very shy and his throat went dry. Was he nervous or something?

Yumi sighed some. "His name is Razz. We completely hate each other. We had so many fights and bouts of annoying pranks. But.." Yumi paused here, wondering if Razz was close by, it making her blush a little. "But, he's a really good cook. And actually pretty nice. I guess I should get to know him more. Hopefully the pranks don't get in the way."

Lute followed Chloe out onto the balcony. He looked up at the snow, watching it fall before looking to Chloe, watching as the snowflakes settled in her golden hair. After hearing her explain, he couldn't help but smile. "I guess I can't do anything but thank you, Chloe. You let me see you for the first time." he said, leaning over and kissing her cheek.

Luke stumbled a little when Jethrow pushed him, but he swallowed again and gently took Kaya's hand and led her onto the dance floor.

Yumi sighed softly. "I was helping him earlier and I had to leave to come to this stupid party. I'd rather work with him back in that hot kitchen, than be out here in this silly get up." she said with her mother's attitude. Easy to see she had inherited it.

Lute blushed as Chloe pulled him back and into a real kiss. He was about to pull away, but accepted it, and returned it. Finally he could kiss the girl he knew he loved.

Luke sighed as he danced with Kaya, shrugging some. "My sister made me come. Personally I didn't want to. But she made me. And I have no idea why she chose this. No idea at all.

Yumi blushed more at what the boy said, it spreading so it could be seen below the edge of her mask. "N-No! Well... maybe... I don't know. He probably wouldn't want to hear it."

Lute enjoyed the kiss until Chloe had to breath, but he smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her close to him.

Luke snuffed some, trying not to blush. Her accent was rather interesting, but he tried not to be rather fascinated. "I don't know. I don't socialize much. Maybe she just wanted a match. Since she's a python." he said, tilting his head in his sister's direction, where Lunora sat with her husband at a table, talking about a few things.

Yumi blushed more, it more evident now, even with the mask. "I-I don't know where you got that idea. We hate each other's guts." she said, crossing her arms.

Lute glanced down at Chloe when she spoke and he blushed some, but he smiled. "I love you too."

Luke shrugged some. "I thought both resided in the jungle." he said, a bit indifferently.
