Ginji of Thunder "Hmm...What if we just bust in? I mean, it's a wall, how hard could it be to just break down?" Ginji suggested, playing with Aggron's Pokeball. "Granted, that'd alert the gang that we're here, but at least the wall would be out of the way." "Subtle," I sigh. As a teleportation flash lights up the casino behind us, I turn to see Sammy standing in her pajamas. Thinking quickly, I unclasp my cloak and toss it to her. "Here. You should be a little warmer with this." Then I look around and see a door leading behind the money-changing counter. Pointing, I suggest, "Let's try that way first."

Maddy rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She turned to the others. "Anyways, finally got that little problem resolved. Did I miss much?"

"Not much." Ginji smiled. "Just the chance to catch a Dark Pokemon. I think Thard took yours." Ginji smiled at Maddy who had reappeared. "Off to the counter place." he followed Thard.

Sammy took the cloak gratefully. "Thank you very much, person I've never met. I feel like I just came out of a Lord of the Rings cosplay party." Sammy said, following everyone else. Squirt had fallen asleep, while still grasping onto her back. "So, uh, where are we?" Sammy asked, ignorant to the situation.

The door has an elecronic lock, which currently has no power. Luckily, I'd come prepared for something like this. "Elekid, Pory, you're up!"
Elekid and Porygon2 pop into the room. "Elekid, use a very low power Thunderwave on that door. We just need to get the locks working. Pory, once the power's flowing, hack the lock and get it open!"
As my pokemon set to work, I turn and greet Maddy. "Ah, so you were the third Aquan coming down the alley. I didn't know you could teleport."
Turning again to Sammy, "I'm Thard. This is the Goldenrod City Game Corner, and a known base of the Legendary Brilliance Gang. Try not to wander too far off." wink

"Haha yeah." She scratched the back of her neck awkwardly. "I only recently found out I could teleport. I don't really know why I suddenly have the power. I'm still trying to come up with a reason... No leads so far." >.>

The red light was coming from a battery-powered security camera, and it was pointing right at the whole group* Crap guys! Cameras! *Calls Swampert over* Swampert, use a weak mud shot to block it's view. Swampert: *Shoots a blob of mud at the camera, covering it.*Ike: Eh, it's a quick fix. Thard, lets remember to look for security tapes. We could study them and maybe learn a thing or two about these guys.

Sammy nodded to Thard. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Thard." Sammy stated, then looked at the security camera. "Better hope they don't have someone monitoring that thing 24/7, or we're as dead as a group of magicarp at a sushi festival." Sammy continued to walk.

I realize that now, without the benefit of my cloak, I'm a bit more visible than before. "Darn you, chivalry," I curse under my breath.
Just then, Porygon2 finishes up and the lock pops open. Elekid pulls the door ajar and stops his Thunderwave. "Ah! Good going you two!" I return them to their pokeballs.
As we continue into the back, even I have no clue what awaits us. "Let's go."

Kurtis: *Rushes past Thard, wanting to be the first to know. He was, but from ahead everyone could hear a big groan from him.* Aww man. It's nothing.
Ike: *Looks around* It's just a storage room... *walks up to some shelves with boxes, some with prizes and others with gambling chips. Ike slumps over* Some base... *sighs* Well there has to be at least SOMETHING back here... *looks around some more.*
