"One on one battles are fine. I don't care. It'll probably use the same fairness factor just because of the one on one ness." Ginji smiles, knowing how long one on one battles lasted last time.
He turns to see Maddy furiously marking up a mission. "Don't worry, I got your back." he assures. He hoped he didn't need to do anything regarding it though.

Vixen swooped down, pecking weaville on the head. He then retreated to the ceiling. "Well, I'm ready when anyone else is." Sammy finished; she really didn't care who she fought... As long as their pokemon weren't 2nd stage evos... That would be tough.

kwchups MISSION - That's the Spirit! Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Mt. Pyre and catch a ghost pokemon Pokemon: Duskull Shuppet Funds upon completion: 300 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Maddy pins her grade to the report:
"Fail. Mission was fairly good, I liked the whole 'mischevious Shuppet' thing going on. I also liked the battle with the two Duskulls. You put yourself in a difficult situation, and you overcame it. That's good.
However... The part of this mission that makes it a fail is when Duskull uses Thunderbolt on Feebas. Duskull cannot learn Thunderbolt. This is the biggest mistake I found in the mission. I know that this is a low level mission and grading shouldn't be as strict, but I would like you to re-write that particular part of the mission and then I'll make it a pass. I suggest you use www.serebii.net to check attacks and such, as mistakes like this would not be tolerated in higher level missions and I think you should get into the habit of using serebii before something like that happens.
Good effort though!"

Sammy thought for a moment. "Hey, Troy, wanna battle?" Sammy asked, and he nodded. "Well, should I go ahead and send you the info, or what?"

* a tattered mission report appears wafting in the wind around HQ between the stadium and the common room slowly sweeping its way across the floor back to maddy*
( wow my computer is being insane so i just basicly changed one word sorry) MISSION - That's the Spirit! Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Mt. Pyre and catch a ghost pokemon
Pokemon: Duskull Shuppet
Funds upon completion: 300
Before leaving HQ I compiled a list of simple missions that I can do on my “vacation”, well maybe it can be considered my training kick from now on I suppose seeing I want to complete about 3-5 missions before I return starting with the closest to HQ… a ghostly mission hosted by Mt. Pyre.
It was about a 30min fly from HQ and I’m not sure why I never bothered to take the time to get the mission out of the way in the first place but hell I figured that I could do it now while I’m here. After reading over the mission brief, like most of the others I picked for these few days, it was a simple, no plot required, catching mission.
Once there I landed on the rocky shore like area where the land met the water and I was already feeling the eeriness of the place… I slowly crept inside after returning Tropius to his ball turning around every few moments feeling that there was someone behind me on the foggy walkway into the large old building. As soon as I reached the door I turned around in a panic hearing a wispy wind-like voice scaring me half to death, I couldn’t tell what it said but I know I did not want to be there much longer. I barged into the large wooden doors thinking that there would be some sense of comfort once inside but that obviously turned out wrong. I stormed my way right into what appeared to be a pokemon funeral complete with a miniature coffin and many people sobbing. I then slowly made my way up a flight of stairs hoping not to further draw attention or embarrass myself anymore.
As I walked the last few stairs I was yet again greeted by a whispering voice this time mildly clearer, but at the same time familiar. Just then it hit me like a bullet “SHUPPET!” or at least Thard’s popped into my head it sounds exactly like it, “uggh this place must be crawling with them” I thought to myself silently feeling a bit more secure about the situation. Mischievous they may be at least they cant hurt me.
Finally in an open room with many grave sites scattered around and a few people here and there visiting their departed pokemon I decided to begin my training. I pulled out one of my weaker pokemon’s ball and spun it around in my hand whistling a tune to myself while looking for something to fight. Within the same minute a lone Shuppet materialized beside me coming into sight right next to my ear which I didn’t even notice at the moment Shuppet(telepathically): Boo! Me: *falls over in shock then begins to laugh at myself at what just happened* Shuppet: What?! don’t laugh FEAR me Me: pssh im used to it, the question is are you used to a good fight? *the poke ball rolls out of my hand and on to the ground revealing a Surskit in a bright light* I already have a Shuppet of my own thank you but I still could use the practice? Shuppet: heh, I don’t think you can handle this place for much longer, wait ill get reinforcements soon enough…. Me: hmm *thinks to self *“what does he mean by that *my mind then goes way off subject* “ wait what if im the only one who can see this thing, god I must look insane right about now…..” *goes back to talking out loud anyway* ohh well, Surskit use Bubblebeam…. * a cloud of tiny bubbles envelops Shuppet dealing decent damage until it decided to phase through it…* Shuppet: owie that would have almost hurt… *floats down to the ground and starts laughing in Surskrit’s face, followed by a strong revenge powered move sliding Surskit across the floor for a couple feet* Me: impressive, maybe my Shuppet should learn a thing or two from you… Surskit use *gets stoped mid sentence as Sursit shoots out a ball of dark energy at Shuppet hitting almost center of its body causing it to fly back through the air into a nearby wall escaping being knocked out*
The whispering voice then returned this time filling the whole room rather than just torturing me.
Shuppet: Heheheheheheh I knew I wouldn’t loose! *coughs* too bad I cant stay longer to enjoy this though!* two Duskulls appear from the wall which Shuppet fled through* Me: ooo now I don’t have one of those yet….*returns my injured Surskit which probably couldn’t fight much longer anyway replacing him with Wynaut and Venonat on the battle field*
One of the opposing Duskulls then Used Destiny Bond on Wynaut quickly followed by the second one using the same attack on Venonat leaving the battle very problematic. Wynaut countered with the only thing it could do, use its own destiny bond in return basicly leaving most things on the field ensured to be knocked out at some point. Venonat was the last to attack leaving one of the Duskulls asleep for a short time giving me some time to think my way out of this troubled first turn. The only awake Duskull looked over at its sleeping partner and decided to take a fall, using a shadow ball on Wyanut which barely survived the attack. I then quickly ordered Wynaut to counter with Mirror Coat thinking I was taking advantage of the situation but it didn’t turn out as great as I planned when Duskull fainted dragging Wynaut down with it with the previous Destiny Bond. Venonat yet again last to attack used Psychic to end the round dealing only minor damage to the sleeping Duskull but at the same time waking it up leaving that turn with a very ugly outcome.
Duskull then used an impressive Psychic attack of its own almost KO’ing Venonat taking full advantage of the type difference. I once again ordered Venonat to use another Sleep poweder but this time missing leaving Duskull the time to get in another Psychic attack this time leaving Venonat unable to battle and me down another pokemon. After Venonat fainted the Destiny Bond wore off leaving me with one less thing to worry about replacing Venonat with Feebas on the field.
Feebas got the speed advantage in this situation starting off with water gun once again just chipping a little bit away from the opponents health countered by yet another Destiny Bond making me unable to KO the opponent without loosing another pokemon. The situation was heating up more than I expected on my part wearing away at my team as a whole leaving me with one less pokemon every other turn. I decided I just couldn’t keep that up much longer and in attempts to end it soon I ordered Feebas to use Hypnosis this time leaving the pokemon in a deep sleep for the second time this battle giving me an opening to attack some more. Two Water gun attacks later Duskull finally woke up finally showing some fatigue from the battle but still fighting on with a powerful Charge Beam attack leaving yet another of my pokemon at very low health once again taking advantage of the type situation showing it has battled before.
At that point I just couldn’t battle any longer at the risk of not having any pokemon left to get me to a center for the night so I decided to return feebas to her ball followed by pulling one of my better Aqua balls out of my pocket in hoped for the Duskull to eather run away or get caught. I finally got some bit of luck throughout all of that and it just floated there and took the ball head on not even trying to dodge, maybe it even wanted to join me or it was just to tired out to move any longer, whatever the case it stayed in there as the ball fell from about 3 feet in the air to the ground shaking mildly for a few seconds and then it just stood still. I went over picked up the ball and got the hell out of that building as fast as I could luckily avoiding any trainer or wild pokemon battles until I got back outside to hop on Tropius flying to nearby Lillycove to get my pokemon healed at the pokemon center for the night as I slept outside behind the center in a little tent.
The next morning I found all my pokeballs delivered to my tent door more than likely by one of the nice nurses which I didn’t think in the first place that it was that obvious I was sleeping there rather than one of the rentable rooms inside, but I just seem to like the outdoors more anyway. Finally awake and fully ready to take on the world after having my morning coffee from a nearby Staryubucks I packed up my stuff, folded up my tent and began to make my way further west setting up camp again somewhere between Mauville and Fortree along the way to sit down and write this mission report.
After I was done writing I sent out Tropius yet again and attached the report to his neck with and old bandana along with the orders to take it back to HQ, Im sure he is smart enough to come back and get me but if he isn’t please find him (more than likely sleeping just outside HQ) and tell him to get his lazy a** back out here and help me!
