Pausing for a brief moment, "Not yet. As long as the people here don't know it, I wish it kept secret. Careful, Malik can read minds." He narrowed his eyes at the door. "I hope that one way noise barrier is still working."
"You have no idea the number of enchantments we placed on this place... Six wizards spent three hours preparing it the day before you came here. That is enough time for them to conjure an army of elephants."

She laughed. "He won't be reading ym thoughts all to easily. If he could sort out one name from the thousands of others, it would be a miracle in itself." She reached to her hip, to pull out a bag of stones that she usually kept tied there, only to remeber that she had lost them in Deep Water. She was sapred the trouble of finding a task for Malik.
"Six wizards? I dare say you are resourcefull, Tarathiel."

"Vierna, my sister, sailed here with more. She also had the luxery of Lolth Prestesses. I tell you, you wish to travel fast through the realm bring a few hands of wizards and clerics and you can literally traverse the length of the plane in a few hours..." He watched as Meilikki reached for the bag. "That smile tells me that you have something planed for our guest." He smiled back at her.
"The amulets will be completed soon. I was having trouble finding the right stones. Orko insisted on black pearls but I would not settle for anthing less than the purest Sapphires. What is your preference?"

"Then it runs in the family." She put her hand on the table, where once she might have been fiddling with the stones, it now had nothing to do, and loked restless. "Yes I do. I practically gave his fiancee a freereading lsat time. I'm afraid this one will not be so easy. I need...several stones. Perfectly shaped ones. At the very least he will need to leave and travel back to his fortress." SHe smiled. "Where imps have made their home."
"I generally use both, but blakc pearls break to easily. Wonderful for portions, but they taste awful in stews. Sapphires are must more versitile." She sighed. "And when I was little, I used to hold one up to the lgiht, and watch the blue light that I could see in it." Instead of becoming saddened, she wore a happy smile. She didn't like happy memories making her depressed, so she didn't let them.

"Indeed." Tarathiel replied. His voice somewhat sentimental.
"She certainly takes her time."

Meilikki snapped out of her little dream. "Hmm? Aella?" She glanced back at the door. Why di she do those little tihngs, when she knew that she could not see it anyway? Perhaps on the fof chance that mabye...just maybe....
"She may have never worn a shirt in her life. It's like ekarning how to dress yourself when your a child. Not awlays easy if someone is not there to show you."

She smiled. "I will. As I am quite certain that you would be uncomfortable doing it, despite how calm you sound." She stood, entered the room, came out a few minues later. "Silly child. She did her hair up first, and got stuck." She chuckled. "Two blind people trying to get one of them dressed."

Tarathiel was relieved he would not have to do that, Meilikki seemed keen on his true personality. It must be the blindness. "Well, all that there is now is to wait for Malik to knock and anounce himself."
"I wonder... What do you think a nightmare tastes like..." He jested.

"Waighintg. I'm used to it. It's usually the only tihng I have to do." Aella joined them then, her shirt in proper oreder, as well as her hair, but there was a blush on her cheeks. Meilikki wouldn't mention anything.
She lifted an eyebrow, a ghost of smile on her lips. "Burnt."

"Oh ho ho ho ho ho ho!"
The other twelve crew members looked up to see their captain up on the main topsail yard, laughing into the wind. Naga grabbed hold of the main topmast, found herself a rope and swung down to the main deck. Excitedly, she ran to the beakhead. "We've finally picked up the trail!"
The crew smiled, pumped their fists and cheered. Their small ship, Dark Seraphim, picked up speed as the sails filled with wind. Kalam boosted the winds, turned in them in the proper direction.
"Keep the sails full, Kalam. We'll push on until we find our quary! Oh ho ho ho ho ho!"
Naga pulled on some tight gloves, snapped them to her wrists. "Whiskyjack! Ye told me this thing would sail smoothly on a virgin's fart, so why is it taking a full set of sails to cut the spray, eh?"
Whskyjack, the oldest of the crew, only smiled lightly. "She sailed as fine when we first set sail, Cap'n. She's a virgin no longer." Naga laughed and patted the drow on the back. She was in high spirits today. "Just get into the chart house and make sure we are on the right course. We will not faulter now!"
Tattersail fitted a bolt to her cross bow. "I signed up for this one to get at that pompus, no good son of a drow."
Cawti elbowed her sister in the ribs. "You signed on to get Hedge. You didn't even know who the Son fo Chaos was!" The two fell to bickering.
Paran yelled up after having inspected the hull. "We've got ship worm, Cap'n! We need to find some place to dock, and tar the hull."
Naga snapped her fingers. "Damn. Looks like we need some other repairs to." There was a loud rip, and Kalam imidiatly let up on the wind a bit. "You idiot wizard. Do that again and I'll keel haul you." Their spritsail had ripped. "You had either replace it, or repair it wizard!"
Not so jovial anymore, the captain Naga the Serpant glared at the rest of her crew. "Well?" She threw a knife at one of them, it thunked into the deck but their feet. "I want Dark Seraphim in tip top shape in two days. You here me? TWO DAYS!"

Onyx nodded lightly, and sighed a bit.
"Moon is being really antisocial right now though. I'm not sure he want's any company. I'll give it a try, but I think if this doesn't work I'm going to send him back home to you guys I don't think he likes it here anyway."
Malik had waited a bit for someone to show..until Malvolence started talking to him. which is why he was stone still at present, one hand on Malvolence, looking like he was listening. Anti-magic. that's why Malvolence and Nightmare were complaining. but that was to be expected around Tarathiel, or any other drow. make sure your potential enemies are as weak as possible. whihc of course was one of the tasks his necromancers were dealing with back home, after Tarathiel's first little surprise visit.
Then to the door, and knocking on it.
"Malik D'vinn, Piper Silverfeather, and Iris. I have an appointment with you, and information to share, for a price of course."

Meilikki took any smile off her face, looking serious but non-threatening. "Enter, then." Iris? Hmm, she couldn't seem to bring up any information on the girl. Which meant she was directly related to the hooded man.
Information? That was interesting as well. Probably had sometihng to do with this Iris girl.

Of course Serino was doing his best to at least talk Nightmare into not being so upset about the whole anti-magic thing...he was the one who had to sleep in the stables with her at night...or she would be even more pissy, he really just couldn't win. Piper let go of Iris, realizing that she had had hold of the girl the whole time. Well she hadn't really been paying attention to what she was doing, seeing as she was debating wether or not to hit Malik...but Piper whould let the sword thing go this time...she just didn't want to get into with him right now. But at the oracle's beckoning she looked to Malik once more. "After you." No way in all the surface lands and Underdark was she stepping foot into some place she wasn't familiar with...

Malik stepped in, noting Tarathiel with a slight nod, and whirlwind, looking the bodyguard, and no longer in a slaves outfit. and then his eyes moved to teh Oracle.
"Nice to see you again, Meilikki. Tarathiel has been treating you well, I hope?"
He'd talk with him a bit later. whomever had been after him, from whirlwind's little report, may target him as well for just being of similar race.
"I of course have a few questions for you, Oracle. and Piper as well, but I think her interest is more about the task you gave her. and I'm sure you are aware of recent things, o you'll at least understand her...disposition."
A look at Morelle..and a small grin.
"Up for finding Moonstone while I talk to mother? maybe he'll finally be a bit more open with mom and talk about what's going on with him, whiel I have her on..the phone, so to speak."
