Isis47470 sekchi-toguchi Dryfolius Sekchi, Hvy, always hvy, more guns, more fire power! Long live the ranged tactics! i went with the stormtroopers, i already got a basalisc mortars and autocannons, and missle launcher and a lascannon and a LRBT. i felt if i got another hvy weapons platoon id be bogging down my army to much, id probably get outmanouvered I played my Tyranids for the first time this thursday against IG. I did realy good I ate like 5 whole squads, 3 of the 5 with only a broodlord and 3 steelers...not to make it like thats cool cause you play Ig and stuff. But your playing the Emperors holy flashlights, if your beeing out manuverd your moveing way to much. Park and unleash hell !! IG can be used for manever armies, however thats best done with either armored company, rough riders, or other better troops.

True, zippy guard can be fun rough riders I have seen do cool things, plus they look cool ! Armored companys are relativly un-original now. It's become oh blah another Ig tank fest. Most of the tourneys I play in now don't allowe them any more due to the sheer number of them, it was more like a demolistion durby then a game of 40k at times. If they do allowe them they draw names out of a hat to pick people to play them this way its kept in moderation. I kinda have a feeling Tyranids will be the next tourney army of choice that and the lysander/darkangel termy lists of doom.

ok so my stormys are mostly painted, and named 'The Bronze Beserkers' (their armor is dwarf bronze) so they stand out a bit, but goblin green in between helps them blend in. i originally though green and bronze would look horrible, just gotta find the right color green

IF THOU DOST NOT CORECTLY DEPLOY THY HEAVY WEAPONS BEFORE THY ENDEAVOR FOR VICTORY, A BATTLE IF I MAY, VERILY THOU SHALT BE SMASHED INTO TINY BITS BY THY ENEMY WHILE YOU TRY TO RECTIFY THY OWN IDIOTIC TROOP PLACEMENT... in short... in a standard game...i f you dont deploy your hvys correctly you will lose, or come very close to it. So put your HVYwepsqds in the best damn spot ya can or else they will waste at least one of your six turns movin'. Use the weps range to your advantage... AND DONT MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or just use them as 6 man squads shooting thier lasguns...CUZ THATS DA SMAAAAAAARTA THING TO DO....(or not)

Well howdy all! Sorry I haven't been on in a while I've been busy with school and science olympiad. Which BTW Regionals were saturday, and Came in first for Oceanography, 4th in boomilever, 5th in Rocks and minerals, and 8th in Fermi Questions.
And yes, heretic is very right, and at the beggining of the game tak target priority when setting up, so I would suggest some sentinels or Hellhounds, so that once your enemy has pretty much all his stuff set-up, you can choose where to set up those suckers to harass the crap out of what you want dead or tied up so it can't do anything. mrgreen
I've seen faulty set up by IG players on a Pretty average basis, and it don't end well.

Accademic games? never heard of it. Besides Science Olympiad is supposed to be more than just fun, it's competitive, it looks good on a college application, and I think for the top 5(maybe 3) teams at nationals there're scholorships given away to each team member. I'm already going to state at colorado school of minds...And LPHS team #2 is gonna kick butt. mrgreen

I couldnt stop laughing for like ten minets. But its true, thats why I have trouble with my Marines most times, I think I am the only on in the history of the game to find marines difficult... that will be changing now that Im getting a grip on a specilized army like my bugs. I'll beable to see how to place the marines based on stats, eventually. I have started reading the warhammer 40k comic Damnation Crusade, it's based on Black templars and a variety of enemys, the art is awsome. Any one else reading it ?

DartStriker Well, everyone I must say I ma very sorry for not being around. But this SATURDAY SATURDAY SATURDAY, I will be going to my First RTT event. My Marines are Preparing for war, with a pray on their lips. Thats what I have been so busy this week, cool. RTTs are fun! my kroot always bounce off an armored company though, which really sucks.
