Sellesion Amu Tsukiyomi-sama Sellesion Hey look guys, I'm a Claymore again! *cuts yoma in half* emotion_yatta .....A claymore? What's that? *knows it is a sword, but doesn't understand how you are one, much less how you're one 'again'* It's what Hoshi said. ^^ From the Anime/Manga. :3 It's a cosplay avi! This is the third time I think I've had a similar avi like this... each time I wear it, it seems I change something. Usually for the better though; to improve the accuracy of the costume. I think this one looks a lot like the Claymore named Helen. emotion_kirakira Though, I wasn't trying to cosplay Helen specifically... A cool thing about Claymore's from this series, is that most of them all look the same, so if you just change the hair, you could be a completely different one... and in each generation of Claymores, there's 47 different ones, which are then replaced when they die, creating the new gen. Meaning there's tons of Blonde, Yoma Fighting, Half Human, Half monster gals in the universe of the series. And not all of them have names. So you can cosplay it without having to be a specific one. Though, some of the Claymore's have slight variations in their armor. cool @_@ That's a lot.

They're basically female warriors created by 'The Organization' to fight Yoma- demons that eat people. *about to go on a rant about the show and how awesome she thinks it is* However, there's a hefty cost for the Claymore's services when they go to a town who's requested help. The Claymore's aren't allowed to accept the money themselves, but the organization takes care of all of their expenses like clothes and armor. I would add food to that, but being half monster, the Claymores are exceptionally strong; but their human part is dominant, so they can go days without food, and eat very little when they do eat at all. The problem is though, when a Claymore accesses the Yoma energy within themselves, it can take them over and turn them into mindless human eating monsters which are many times stronger than pure Yoma. They call those awakened beings or Voracious eaters. But accessing that energy makes them stronger in battle, and for some, brings out unnatural abilities which help them take out strong foes. So sometimes a Claymore has no choice, and is constantly at war with the monster inside them. @.@" And Yoma, including the Awakened Beings, can disguise themselves as normal humans- this being why the humans of 'the organization' created the claymores; because the claymores can sense the yoma, and possess the strength to kill them- thus, saving the humans. Humans still fear them though, because they're half Yoma themselves. Tis tragic. But I love the series so much for it's complexities and awesome fight scenes. emotion_kirakira

There's a lot of deep friendship kinda stuff too. Cus of the things the girls go through together. Amu Tsukiyomi-sama Yeah... I think it's all of the other craziness that's going on, as per usual.
