"Back?" Tarathiel asked, "Where would they have gone?" He said with a slight egnimatic grin.
He turned his head and looked about the room. "Tames hasn't eaten anyone has he?" He asked rather playfully, but not kidding. "I'll have to feed him soon, or he'll start to get rather... Impulsive. He once through Sstrl across my ship and over board. The only one who seems to be able to stand against him is Warhammer, but I blame his shere mass for that."
"Love potions?" Tarathiel echoed somewhat dishearted. "You can make those?" Please say no.
The drow walked over to an unused chair, and placed the forgotten objects on it, all in perfect working order. They were pulled off his belt as though they were simply attached to it, though no one could see them. After he removed Aella's gifts, he pulled out a ten foot long spear, and casually placed it on the ground. "I don't know what I am going to do with that..." Devilish thoughts entered his mind.

"Back...because I left them in the cabin room on Salmander's Whip....and then we had to leave so quickly." She smiled when she saw the objects, picked them up. The necklace went around her neck, the tiara into her hair, though ti was still down, and the acorns went into a pocket.
"He treid to take a chunk out of Orko. But it was a halfhearted attempt. He mostly just slept infront of the fire there." Meilikki stood, got her kettle, poored the hot water into a mug that she had filled with raspberry leaves, and did the same for Aella. Then offered some to Tarathiel. "I just got this the other day, rather good ones for a change too."
She sat back down her chair, cradled her mug. "I can make a fairly potent one, but I refuse to make it." She sneered. "The last time an Oracle made a love potion, it allowed Dimitri's line to take the throne in Deep Water." She grumbled udner her breath. "She was a fool anyway."
Whirlwind sat at the table, lifted an eyebrow at the spear. "Is that the one you found in the clothes chest?"

Declining the tea, Tarathiel took a seat near the Oracle. "Well, if my sister comes and tries to get it from you, you best had it over. There is little that even your strong dragon could to save you from her, but since I am aware that you can do this, hopefully her wizard will conclude that I am able to concoct the anti-potion. Or, since she could never get one of the things down my throat anyway, I think I am pretty safe. Its a good thing she needs me alive." He mumbled a little after that, feeding these two some information about his family life.
"Orko, good wizard. Not so smart when it comes to dealing with others. Strong will, weak flesh." Tarathiel smiled. "He loves his charms because he never learned to be charming. Most women don't care..."
"Yes, that is the ransuer I pulled from the clothes chest. That thing seems to appear everywhere. A little joke probably... Warhammer."
"Is the anti-magic field up yet?"

"The anit-potion is easier to make then the actualy potion." She took a sip of her tea, letting the hot liquid warm her. "You're sister thinks she can get you without the potion anyway." She contemplated Tarathiel's family. "I take it that she knows about me then? I seem to be getting more popular of late." The last was not said in jest.
Whirlwind snorted. "Orko has yet to figure out that these women care." Then a glance to the ransuer. "You sure it's not sentient?"
Meilikki crossed her legs, starring at a spot somewhere above Tarathiel's head. That was about as close as she could get to amking it seem she was looking at people when she talked to them. And it usually creeped most people out. "You'd have to ask you're wizards that one, Tarathiel. I do not use magic that would fail against such a shield."
"And I haven't used my staff for quite a while."

Tarathiel locked his eyes onto Meilikki's, and seemed to say nothing for a while. "Well, I would have guessed that they slacked off while I was running about. It does take a long while to get from place to place without being caught... and being caught. I can't believe that Elric for saw that I would try to rob Malik when he left. Lucky guess..."
"Do you think that I am that predictable?" He asked the Oracle and Aella with some jest, yet rather seriously.
"My sister, Well, Vierna, watches me. As do about twelve other wizards, all the time. I cannot escape them. They see through everything. I never even think anymore because they read what I am doing. Sometimes, they even give me little hints as to what other people are thinking." Rarely, if ever. Twice actually, and both times was because Tarathiel was second guessing himself.
"Hey... er... nevermind." Tarathiel skipped through a thought, and bounced into another.
"Have you meet Stoneshaper?"

Aella smiled into her mug, but didn't say anything.
Meilikki chuckled. "Predicatble? I have a hard time keeping up with you." A smile spread across her lips here. "I have not been awarded such entertainment from anyone." She took another sip. Raspberry was her favorite. "I hade begun to think all life was predictable, before you came along."
Aella had a chin in her hand. "I tihnk I had a brother back in my old village. He watched me like a hawk. Though I dare say it was for different reasons than your sister." She shook her head. "No. But then I've never been very good at predicting people." Her capture and savery prooved that much.
"Stoneshaper? Briefly I think. Most of the others spend their time upstairs. And I down here."

She had her head against Aslyn's shoulder, leaning her cheek to soft feathers as one arm was around the griffin's back, the other was still letting her hand scratch at Ashlyn's feathers. Okay...so she was somewhat cuddling the griffin it seemed and she looked rather spaced out. Two blinks and it looked like she snapped back from whatever world her mind had wandered to. A look to the feathers, but that was all she gave them. Piper hadn't even registed Iris leaving before she was back and Malik was questioning her more. Tugging herself away from teh griffin, She made her way back up the stairs and to thier room, setting down the journal her father had passed her way, and grabbing the sworl patten amulet and the little red stone. Then back down, plopping right back down where she was before, leaning her head against Ashlyn again.
Kieran brushed a piece of hair back over his shoulder and then crossed her arms. "Well if you intend to see the Oracle, I'm staying at the fortress. One of us should be here should anything come up. Besides, I have to wait for Nerian, he needs a plane point to get access back here easily without hitting random planes first." A look to Blue and a grin. "I'll have Blue to keep me company."

A small smile peirced Tarathiel's lips, "Indeed."
"Well, yeah, I did actually forbide them from spending too much time with you, because.. well... The are not exactly the most trust worthy bunch, save for Warhammer and Aven. Aven,... He's wierd."
Tarathiel streached his arms out, and removed his shirt, revealing his heavily damaged chain shirt. "Need new and better armour. Mythril is so horrible when it comes to duribility. If only I did not lose my adamantium armour when that dragon ate me. Have you ever been in the belly of a dragon? Its really, really queer. Like, a giant sack trying to grind you into mush. It tore my chainmail appart, and now I use this stuff."
He took off the mail, and tosed it casually onto the ground. His bare chest showed no scars, or hair for that matter, and his muscles were tightly packed together, but not bulky. He pulled another suit out of his bad, and put it one. After wards, he lifted the battered mail and looked at it.
There were gaps in the armour everywhere. Most predominately, in his right shoulder where the arrow strucke right through him. The stomach and back had similar but smaller holes as well. Over all, the shiny metal did not lose its gleam, but its shape was lost.
"More scrap for the wizards."

"You aren't going to learn. you'll ride with Piper. as Nightmare will throw you off in an instant. she barely tolerate's Piper riding her."
Oh he knew the second she went up there what she was getting.
"Then we'll go. you atay here with the twins, and if those two imps show up try and get them to behave. Plus, I have another use for you, Iris, when we get to where we are going. which should be easy since we'll use our steeds unique skills since I don't feel like navigating a damn maze right now."
And that's where he was heading, the stables...before some yelling.
"Oh will you two stop that! we have to leave. get your hormones under control!"
Onyx was ready to throttle him on the next bite, but got the idea, and rubbed the blood on teh totem. well why not give it a shot.
"Mother...? Can you hear me? We got an issue here that I think we'll need your help with."

"Don't I know it." She finished her tea, put the kettle and the canister away. She'd look after the dishes later. She stood by the fire, warming her hands. She couldn't imagin why she was so cold of late. Sometiems it felt like the chill from the underground chambers had pierced her skin perminantly. She smiled. "No, I can't say I've ever been in the belly of a dragon. Who was it that tried to eat you?"
"I may be able to get you something from Tanundra's scales. He's made a few suits of armor in his time. Light, flexable, tight fitting things." She furrowed her brow. "Come to think of it, I think i own Ton's original armor back in my catacombs home. I can't imgaine why Alaran never demanded I hand that over." Well, she knew the reason why. The dragon was jealous that her scales were not so well suited for armor, thus treated the thing as if it did not exist.
Aella blushed, and turned her eyes. She udnerstood a little now, why Tarathiel had asked her so many times if she wanted to change her clothes. She looked down at her still half naked body. She was getting there...
"Gee, arrows must like you alot."
Ashlyn put her head on Piper's shoulder and pulled her closer. She was a mother after all. She coudl tell when the younger ones were out of sorts. Her feathers were soft and warm and inviting, promissing saftey and comfort as long as there was breath in her old body.
Blue smiled warmly. "Indeed, I will stay with you for now Kieran. I am greatly enjoying your company. Although i would like to see this Oracle....""

Rand's voice, surprised, distant, and somewhat staticy, came through the totem. Morelle barked a greeting at it.
"Onyx? What...." a static buzz came in short intervals for a moment, until a few seconds later it became crystal clear. "Sorry aobut that. This tihng works better outside of the den. What's wrong, son? Is one of you hurt?
Iris bowed, followed Malik to the stables. "Yes, Sire." She wondered what this other use was, but only briefly. She would do as her master said.

Tarathiel smiled and tilted his head. "Indeed. Dragon scale armour would be much appreachiated. Then, I can go visit my undead kin and tell him my armour is equal to his..." Tarathiel made a jest with his fist, he was not even considering going anywhere near that place.
"Yar, the scurvey lot upstars had better be ready." Tarathiel said hypethetically. "I have given them plenty of time to prepare."

Piper nuzzled at Ashlyn. "You can come if you want to Ash, or stay here." She played her fingers over Ashlyn's collar a moment, moving them to the lacth in hte back, yup just like hers. She idly entertaned the idea of taking off her collar later. Then a pet to her head as she stood. "Be a good girl, don't maim things too badly." Starting to walk she was grabbed gently by the arm and pulled into a hug by her father.
"You just have to keep from giving in Piper. That's all." And he let her go, watching her walk back outside. Then a look to Aslyn. "You're quite the comfort to her, old griffin." And then Ashlyn got a pet before Kieran crouched to gather up the fallen black feathers. Then a c**k of his head at Blue. "If you realyl wish to go with them, you should go...though I would be wary of Malik's temper."
She walked over to the stables where she was greeted by a nudge with Serino's nose. Of course that earned a pet to the Zephyr. "Iris is riding with us, okay?" And Serino looked to the woman dressed in leather called Iris...and went to complaining...he really didn't like anyone riding him besides Piper...maybe Kieran or Malik...well...he didn't like Malik riding him alone. Then Piper gave a look to Iris. "I don't ride with reins and saddle..." And she wasn't going to tack the Zephyr either.

Onyx shook his head. how to explain this one.
"Well...Moon has been hiding something. apparently..according to him..he doesn't have a heart, like you did before you and father got together. He's been really irritable and depressed and honestly I don't think any of us here know how to deal with that. Suggestions?"
Nightmare snorted and pawwed the ground. she wasn't thrilled with Iris on serino either. Malik gave her a hard look.
"Fine. She'll get on with me, this trip won't be but a few seconds anyway. Nightmare is going through the shadows, and Serino you use the wind. I don't wnat to waste even a few minute's getting there."
But malik did put on his darkened mithril chainmail. just in case. and grabbed Iris' arm, adn flung her up behind him, looking to Piper and Serino.
"Are we ready now?"

"Can we all just stop being irritable?" Frankly she didn't want to deal with attitdues right now...she probably wouldn't win in any aspect of it all. But with a sigh she pulled herself up on Serino, patting his neck a moment as he nickered. Hell he thought it was kind of funny. "Do we even know where she is Malik?" While asking her question, she dropped the amulet over her head so that it rested around her neck and pocketed the little red stone.
