.....*Give a long winded rant about how traced bases shouldn't be considered art and yeah.*

Silent: Oh lol, totally forgot about that (picture being traced). But at least it's something for MSpaint, right? xD
Jack: The picture I linked (the pixel art one from deviantart), was actually traced from another picture.

My best friend actually does some REALLY amazing pixel art that she does completely with a mouse. Usually in MSpaint. She made a bunch of Pokemon Trainer sprites for my characters, even the overworld walking sprites. And they look authentic. XD And all she did was look at the sprites in game and she was able to imitate the look.
Cause she's amazing.

Dude, she got skills to be able to pixel and use a mouse at the same time. Both requires a lot of time to get used to, since you're doing something like a single dot or few dots at a time... And sprites are sooo tiny. She's definitely amazing alright. o_O;

Here's one set that she did of my character Shi. >w> It was back before HGSS came out, so they're a smidge out of date.

But they still look awesome. XD Considering she does them pixel by pixel with the mouse. I told her she needed to apply for a job at Gaia when they were looking for pixel artists, but she said she didn't have time.

Oh wow. These poses can't be found from any generation, right? Done straight from scratch? I didn't play the pearl/emerald/sapphire/whatever ones, so I wouldn't know for sure. xD
I should start studying up on these things so I can make my own trainer sprites with my avatars. xP

She used the reference picture I drew up for him and made the sprite. >w> Completely by scratch.
Like I said. She's amazing.

Coloring a chibi Loyal as a paper pall test. First of my paper palls. Ever. I mean I cut chibis out but they never interact with their environment. I make em into stickers or shove em under the clear plastic cover on my desk.

What do you guys think?

Oooooh my gooooods guys. If you haven't listened to the music in Pokemon Black and White you REALLY need to.
Especially this track. Unwavering Emotion
You don't expect that to come from a Pokemon game, but its just so pretty and ljasdg... heart *Puts it in profile.*

I know a lot of emotional songs, depressing ones, beautiful, deep songs, most are from video games soundtracks and Vocaloid song producers... The one you showed me reminded me of that Park music from the HG/SS Pokemon game. =D
I say yes to casual rp. Will you guys be participating in it too? Since it's casual, I wouldn't want to post a pic of the OC Silent made since it takes up with a bit of room. Maybe this is a good time for me to get myself a smaller pixel art of him. xD

That track is so...gah. I think Pokemon Black is easily becoming one of my favorites out of the series. Its just...its so different from all of the other games. It feels like they finally made a game that's growing up with us, you know? It just feels deeper and more mature than any of the others.
Anyways. That particular track only plays once throughout the entire game. It's when you are in Nimbasa City. Bianca (one of your rivals) had been tracked down by her father, who never wanted her to become a Pokemon trainer to begin with, and is trying to take her home. He's afraid she'll get hurt, and the Gym leader of the town walks up, hearing the argument. She gives this speech about -yeah she might get hurt, but that's what happens when you grow up. That its all a part of chasing your dreams and you have to go through the tough times to get to the good parts.
And it was so -weird- because...they never really talk about that in Pokemon before. Its always been "Follow your heart! It'll never lead you down the wrong path!" And I dunno. It was touching, really.
Nintendo really did an outstanding job with these two games. I know people complain a lot about the Pokemon designs, but when you look -past- those...its just an amazing game, it really is.
Oh. Here's another track that I loved. Sayonara
I'm not sure which part in the game it comes from. I haven't gotten to a point where it plays.
ANYWAYS. Wall of sappy text from me. Umm. Yeah, I'll probably be participating in it. XD We'll see how it turns out.
