hehe, I couldnt have rodent as pets. My cat would murder them in like, 2 days :/

Nah, cats are just more independant. A dog'll have your back inna fight. A cat would just wander off.

cats rule
and are smarter that way. The dog would help you and potentially get hurt. The cat would wander off to a safe place, and come back later for food. They know how to get their way with the minumum of effort.
