Trainer N's a big hypocrite himself, that's why I mentioned him, lol. Well, it's the whole Team Plasma thing. If I had the chance, I'll get into a virtual fight with him. No Pokemon battle necessary, verbal fight all the way! -forgot what gym I'm in- scream
Really? I don't see the similarity between Sil and N. o.O;
Nice Pokemon People! I can actually see them being "trainers" because of their clothings doesn't look like it'll get in the way of moving around. Most trainer of whatever-pokemon specialty tend to have this costume feel, as if they're anthros or something.

 *Ahem.*
"People who use Pokemon as tools are wrong, so I will now use my Pokemon against you to prove a point."
"People who find entertainment in the circus and its cruelties are wrong, so I will use my own circus and imprisoned beasts to prove a point."
HMMMMMM.
And yay, I'm glad you think so. XD I don't like a lot of humanized Pokemon for that reason, so I tried to stay away from it. My Emolga looks like a little super heroine though.
Jack - I like Digimon too! Or, at least, the original Digimon. But Pokemon will always have a place in my heart about it. XD I was that child from the 90's that was ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED WITH ANYTHING POKEMON.
....Oh look. That hasn't changed.

HMMM, indeed. -gets brick'd-
...I fail at these things. That's why I keep a tab with people's profiles open whenever I rp. DX
Digimon had a much more mature storyline, while Pokemon is more on the cute side. I like both, and haven't been catching up on them since forever.

Ahahaha, she looks like she's enjoying herself. xD
Is it me, or you made her look like she's in late teen or young tween age? :0

 Eeeh. I'd..say she looks like..seventeen there. XD When she's supposed to look like...twenty-two. *Failed.*
I think its the style.; I dunno. Anime always makes people look younger. >w>;

Anime usually go for big eyes and small mouth, but your drawing is clearly the opposite. Hm... It must be the hat. The eyes look like it's lower down on the head when it's not. The ears must be the reason that it's so high up there on her head. xD Dude, how do you managed to get the line so straight and clean? My lines are all sketchy, so I gave up and make them a lot more sketchy just to make it look like it's one of them drawing styles out there. D: My first attempt of a drawing in Sai. Totally forgot the face tattoo and crown (oh well).

 Oh thats easy..XD I just draw on a bigger canvas, then shrink the image before I save it to a jpeg. TRUST ME the lineart is a lot messier than it looks.

Moo, I can't stand drawing something so big. Envy envy envy! crying
So what, you sketch out the basic body first while you zoom out the whole picture, and then zoom back in at 100% to add in the details and stuff?

 I usually just sketch at 100%, you know, start from the head down. Then I make a new layer, lower the opacity on the sketch layer and cleanup and lineart on the new layer. My sketches are actually REALLY -REALLY- messy. XD

Maybe I'm not used to it or something. I keep getting distracted by the sketchy lines whenever I try that method, even if I was to lower the opacity by a lot. If I lower too much, I won't be able to tell where I want my new line-art to be drawn at. Oh well, practice makes perfect, I guess. sweatdrop

Hmm~ I've seemed to have missed quite a lot so I'll start from the top:
First order of business - I liked pokemon, too, when it first came out. But only the original series, same thing with Digimon and, sadly enough, Yu-gi-oh xD Anything after the first I didn't really take to. It was just so much cooler when I was a kid, I guess. But I still watch Digimon (I'm not ashamed to admit it!), just to see if I'll like any of the newer ones.
Second order - Ha! I can officially never look at Sil the same again xD That image is just going to be stuck in my head forever now. >w> And even if it is a little sketchy, Yen, I like your picture. I actually, for most things, prefer works that have a sort of messy appearance, I don't know why, I think it's just because it shows how much effort the artist put in to get it right. But then again, with my own work, I'm OCD about it being uber clean. D:
Branching off from the second - D: everyone keeps posting their pretty art up, it makes me wish my scanner hadn't broke on me. ;w; For now, I'm just stuck with editing if I want reference pictures (like the one for Reivyn). I'm so jealous of you all right now. xD

Aw shucks. I'm 23 and I know there are 16 yr-olds out there who are 10x better at art than me. ;A; Are you comfortable drawing with a mouse, or have a tablet? Someone provided a link for SAI in the art subforum, so you could at least make some graphic art. I used to work with MSpaint prior having a tablet and all that fancy computer art programs, which wasn't too bad once you get used to it. :0 Take a look at this. This person obviously made great use of the line, curve, and shape tool for the drawing in MSpaint.

Honestly, I haven't tried. xD I guess using a pencil is just what I'm most comfortable at when it comes to actually drawing. Though, since I edit, I suppose it shouldn't be TOO hard.
