Man, sounds like you had some fun.
Anyways I just remembered something really funny. So I wanted to share it all with you. It was one of the First games me and Redd really played. One 5 Man Marine squad and a Librarian Vs some of his grey knights. It was a nearly over for me, My Librarian had one wound left, but it was his turn so he had a chance to kill the last two remaining Grey Knight and claim Victory. (These games had been so small we didn't bother doing points it was just who was left a live at the end.) But I wanted him to cast his power that allowed him to reroll anything he wanted really. So I used the power and ended up landing and failing my Perils of the Warp, but I was still able to cast the power. I was like snap I'm screwed, and at that time I rolled and the Perils of the Warp ended up not wounding. Me and Redd had a good laugh over that. But what was even funnier was the next turn I cast another power failed the test but the Demon didn't wound again. Man...Good times.

"Great" isn't exactly the word I would use for it. But eh. They're amusing, to say the least.

maybe D&D but not 40k......anyway I played my first 2 games of 40k today!
'nids are so much fun! Carnifex with extended carapce are amazing!
2+ armor save!
I almost beat my necoron opponant but the damn 6 turn limit... All I had to do was keep my 3 monster nids in a Large Triangle Formation and my rippers kept on the warriors they could get to...

The Dice rolling system has been here for a while. We did some mini games with them a while ago. If you play online like that you must have the models you are using. That means anyone who wanted to take part would have to get a picture of themselves with their models or something like that.

I would be totaly down with that... we just need to make sure that we have an online set of rules about sice rolls scatter dice...flamer templates... I PROPOSE WE SET UP A FORUM WHERE WE HAVE A SERIOUS DISCUSSION, not just random interjections, about creating a playable Gaia 40k game...and Im down with takeing pics with my boys as proof.... ____ / -------- ======= | | | | | ======== INTERNET LEMAN RUSSSSSS! damnit stupid alignmenting WHY WONT YOU WORK DIE ....cough sorry (if was pretty when I typed it but I cant make it work...poo)

I can understand some of the reason for owning the figures you say you are useing but I honestly dissagree with the MUST factor. Lets face it people we all proxy at one point or another, its a good way to learn Thats like saying in RP, oh if you want to play this character you have to have a figure of him and you must have all of his weapons and his costume... Thats just wierd... even for gamers.
We can talk about this in the warp forum. It's an every thing kinda place so multiple quasi off topic threads wont be an issue for the other forums.I have been working on a system for playing 40k on line for a while, but right now its a bit to complicated for every one to use. Im still working on steam lineing it.

DartStriker Sorry, there is no other way I will allow it to happen. CHeck out the first few pages of Suggestions and questions forum to see what we did with it already. I am aware of the system currently being worked on, innovation is needed in that respect. I will contact you via pm.
