I'm insulted Eli.
I would have expected better of you, like shooting it out of a cannon or setting it on fire.

Mr. Crawley HonoRaven what sorts of forces were you planning on using? anything exotic? I'm not using any "forces" Some s**t is gonna pop-off. And then it's gonna be a player controlled event .. all the way up until the end. The end determines who wins the "challenge." Is based upon.. was what I meant

So do you have a set of plans mapped out then? what I am getting at is the fact that if you don't keep pushing at people around here they loose interest and just wander off, so do you have a lot of stuff planed to keep people from simply wandering away from you after the initial attack?

It's not a story arc. It'll start.. people will fight.. and it'll probably finish in a month.. or two.
I'm just doing a few things to make it be canon.
I don't HAVE to. I could just say they happened. But I'd rather do it this way.

Sorry Nil, but I live in Louisiana. Voodoo Paradise itself.
So I have to stick to proper tradition.
Pin first. Knife second.
Extreme methods after.

sorry to hear that... I don't think it will get even close to where you are hoping for then... look at how things have gone in the past The undead RP, and the sea monsters... hell, even Bable crashed without Ed to keep it going constantly.... Kraun managed to get his own story arc finished only because he kept at it.. kept his own character in the plot to keep things moving the entire time! sweatdrop You might want to consider a contingency plan... perhaps find some players willing to work as hostages ? Incentive for people to keep playing without an exact plot line to follow!

Eh, I suppose. Quote: Everyone knows the story of the brave Marquis de S*** who, when informed of the magistrates' decision to burn him in effigy, pulled his p***k from his breeches and exclaimed: 'God be ********, it has taken them years to do it, but it's achieved at last; covered with opprobrium and infamy, am I? Oh, leave me, for I've got absolutely to discharge'; and he did so in less time than it takes to tell.

HonoRaven Kraun managed to get his own story arc... I just said it's not a story arc It's an event. There is a prize (money) to be won. If you are a part of it then you are a part of it. Meaning I won't need to press it into everyone's skulls. Only the people involved.

It is by far the most amusing thing I have read in the whole of his work 120 Days of Sodom.

sweatdrop things don't move around here unless you push them.. that is why bable and the blood stadium thing were the last two examples that I used
