The short answer is yes. Confusion.
The long answer would be far more lengthy and full of words like, "Tormented" and other Court Love themes.
I learned about Court Love in Medivel studdies. Knights who loved a woman he could not have were expected to waste away.
The Court Love poetry is more about how a knight should behave in peacetime than it is about anything romantic.

That is somewhat decieving, with such a title as "Cort Love" then, isn;t it?
