Morrigan was surprised, but calm and collected, kneeling by Ashuri. "Ok. I want you to explain to me what happened to lead up to this, Ashuri, and I'll react the best I can. I'm a priestess, but if you're injured, I can heal you to some extent. This paralyzation, was it caused by magick or physical means? Fighting, etc, etc?" She carefully studied the woman's auric field, awaiting a reply. Her physicals were fine, she had a strong heart, but she was worried beneath it all nonetheless. ~~~~~~~~~~
Sallia followed after him. "Aww, because you know you don't hate everyone deep down, Vejita. It's very nice to meet someone of such prestige and power." She wanted to annoy him, but she decided to try and be nice first. He was grating her nerves secretly. The fact that Shanra was around was discomforting as well. She knew she couldn't go back to any of the temples in the mountains, but perhaps she could live out in the forests. This place seemed safe, though. There were plenty of strong, easily agitated people.

"I hate most of the people on this pathetic excuse for a planet." Vejita answered glancing back to her. "As I said, why should I care. You have nothing to do with my family. So do as you please."
~~~
Ashuri tried to shrug but failed. "Well, I got this vision and saw a Daemon. Po-ar! There's a Daemon on earth!" "Masaka..." the Tarnb-jin Oji whispered in disbelief. (((OOC: *tries not to laugh* that girl said Masaka at the resturant the other day.... hehehe...))) "Kenryoku Maho-tsukai, I think that's his name. He said I was to be taken to some demon named Konto and... Po-ar, you alright?" The young man's face went completely pale. "Konto... The most feared demon of legend... Ashuri-chan, you can't go back to earth!" "But I have to! He plans to kill everyone we know!"
By that time, Morrigan had started using a combination of pressure points and blessings to help the nerves restore and get the circulation they needed. However, when the two started panicking, she tilted her head, listening in silence, but thought deeply. So these guys were threatened by a demon, an incredibly powerful one at that. "You've tried sealing him away, I take it?" she quietly interjected, "Vincent's in danger, everyone at dinner is in danger. So, send me back. I'll warn everyone. Ashuri, you can stay here, where it's safe, but the warning will still get through. Perhaps we can bring everyone together here to formulate some plan." ~~~~~~~~~~
Sallia wouldn't give up. "Why are you so afraid to connect to people?" she asked bluntly, watching him with kitten-like eyes. For how young she was, she was cute, almost too cute to hit. She used this to her advantage utterly.
Lythia laughed also, "Well, either way, I do not fit into the flying nor the technology category, which is a pity on my part since you need one or the other to stay alive these days. But then of course, I usually seclude myself in the woods for desperate reasons of my own...." because I'm a complete freak.. she continued the thought to herself.
"But then, I'm usually accompanied by my magic... which is no longer available now to my disappointment..."
"Why not?" Bulma asked Lythia, referring to her lack of magic.
~~~
Vejita growled at the young girl, "Shut up. I connect with the people I want to. Everyone else can go to jigoku for all I care."
~~~
Ashuri shook her head, which actually worked this time thanks to Morrigan. Apparently, Ken's physical attack had bunched her nerves. "We haven't tried sealing it because it's a monster of the past." Po-ar put in for his cousin. "Konton rules Tarnbsei long ago, and would have destroyed the world if not for a few brave souls. He used a Daemon as his pawn, and it was this Daemon, this Kenryoku, who was nearly responsible for the deaths of those who saved the planet. Unfortuneately, the names of those heros was lost to time." Ashuri sighed, "We'll all go back. With so many powerful fighters around, Kenryoku won't dare attack again. But I think I figured out one of his Tarnb-jin powers... all he did to paralyze me was touch my forehead."
Sallia stuck out her tongue at him. "Grumpy, are we." She sighed, shaking her head. "Don't worry about him, he's always like that." Vincent assured. "That's what I've been told." "He is." Aera confirmed, appearing behind them. "So YOU'RE the one I've been waiting around here for..." Sallia looked up at her, smiled, and shrugged. "I guess. Who are you?" "Aera. You?" "Sallia." "Neat!" Aera gushed. "WE'LL BE BESTEST FRIENDS EVER! And Vejita too!" "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!" they both cheered in unision, dancing in circles, holding hands. They knew it'd piss him off. And where was Ashuri to stop them? ~~~~~~~~~
Morrigan listened intently. "So, a demon, from the past, is attacking now, his future, more importantly you, so that he can rule? But how will that help him if he's in the past? Is he intending to teleport here also?----And he just touched your forehead, you guys can do that???"
Ashuri shook her head, "Each Tarnb-jin's own powers are unique. Po-ar, as you've seen, can create portals. I can sometimes see the future, and heal myself, provided I have not lost too much blood. I suppose Kenryoku's ability is to cause paralysis by touch." "As to why Konton is attacking in our future..." Po-ar sighed, "I have no idea."
Vejita shook his head in disgust, promptly leaving the room.
She felt the bite of the lightning as it slammed into her chest, the Saiya-jin''s body getting shocked before it flew back from the force. Soy tried to fight through the stunned feeling, the tingling playing through her limbs, but her reaction was slowled, almost dull. Finally she caught herself, more to say that as she landed on her feet on what was solid ground. The woman coughed, not at once liking this sensation. Get over it, she told herself, save Ashuri.
Kenryoku flew toward the forest, landing in a glad next to a large pond. He fell to his knees, a bloody cough wracking his frame. It had been a long time since he used his magic. The Daemon knew that it would take it's toll. He recalled his own master of the black arts, an elderly and frail man whom he told him one important rule. For ever spell, a part of him would be required. Not long after his mentor's death, Kenryoku had experimented with his magics to a dangerous degree. He had soon found out what price he would pay. The Daemon's lungs were damaged, and slowly worsened with every spell he cast. It was the way of the black arts, the path he had chosen. And part of the reason that he so desperately wanted his son, Aoikage, to carry on the bloodline of the Daemons. Resting, Kenryoku wondered where Ashuri had gone. It was his duty to bring her to Konton, before destroying those other troublemakers on Earth. And now, he had Soy to deal with as well. The Half-Elf cursed his luck as he washed the blood from his hand. The element of surprise... had been lost.
"Well," Lythia sighed, "it's really a long story, but to sum it all up.... a woman by the name of Soy has my staff in her possession right now to prevent me from casting any more magic for the time being, until my split-personality has been cured..."
"Why did you have to make friends with the enemy?" Soy cursed to herself, returning to her chase, though the brutal attack from the Daemon, as Ashuri called him, lift her feeling icky. She sighed, part of her feeling as if she lost already in her mission. INstead of helping, she made it worse. The Saiya-jin frowned, her eyes scanning to what lay in front of her. Not too far ahead were the outskirts of a forest. She could not see Ashuri or the man that took her. Don't see, she reminded herself. Your eyes can only do so much. Sighing, Soy did what was natural to her, using that sixth sense bestowed with one attuned to energy, to life. She would search for the signature of Kenryoku, the different aura that had drawn her to him in the first place. And just to her luck, she caught the strange trail of him, and once again let herself shoot off toward him.
The Half-Elf untied his shirt from his belt, forcing his wings to disappear before putting his shirt on again. He had to run. Quickly he began to sprint in and out of the trees, low to the ground. Because of the dense foilage, he was sure to remain unspotted.
"Split personality?" Bulma asked, intrugied and wanting to know more.
Unspotted, yes, but not under Soy's radar. The Saiya-jin dropped in front of Kenryoku, looking as if she came out of nowhere, the woman crossing her arms in front of her chest. Oh she looked ticked. The man's running slowed down his speed, and gave her enough time to catch up to him.
Kenryoku stopped, watching Soy carefully. "What do you want?" he asked, though he had a good idea that the woman was after Ashuri. "If you want your friend back, I can't help you. She's gone."
"I can see that," Soy stated blankly, her blue eyes bright with anger. She could so easily switch moods, but this was a serious matter. "What did you do to her?"
