Duo frowned a bit at Quatre's attitude. That wasn't good. He shouldn't feel like that with the others. Though, Duo shouldn't really talk, as his relationship with Wufei was getting a bit strained with today's events as well.
Then again, did he even have something that could be considered a type of relationship with Wufei? Duo wasn't really sure at this point.
He didn't want to think about it too hard.
Deciding Trowa and Quatre needed to work something out on their own without his interference, he stood next to Mia and waited.

Mia glanced at Duo as he walked up next to her, then back at the other two.
"So..." she said to him quietly, as not to interrupt Quatre and Trowa, "...are you ever going to introduce me?" She nudged him lightly.

Wufei sighed and gratefully left the captured Epyon de Telos members with the agents who had only just arrived to relive him of the duty. The small outpost really wasn’t the most ideal place to have brought them but he’d had no say in the matter. It was yet another tally to the list of unacceptable things that had happened during the day’s mission. He’d finished his mission report while waiting on the local agents and he dropped it off with the local head’s assistant with orders that it be given to no one but Lady Une herself.
Turning the black haired male walked off in search of the others. He’d missed the official mission brief yes but he had some things he wanted to address with his comrades once he found them. Perhaps it was time that he train a squad of Preventer agents so that next time they’d be able to handle such a situation strictly in agency. But for now that wasn’t the issue and he continued walking purposefully as he searched for his friends.

Relena couldn't help but slightly frown at the words, but then re-placed back the tender smile.
"I am important, because people make and see me that way. In a sad sense, as Milliardo was to the White Fang, To many people I am the symbol of peace to this point. People need to see that I still merely a human being like everyone else. As they say, You can Remember the man, but to remember the ideals and knowledge they left behind is much more important to the future."
She allows one hand to release his but keeps one still with his own.
"To give credit where its due is nice but to make sure those ideals are used correctly so people can live in harmony, is the best thing anyone can wish. That's what I hope I can achieve and that We as a civilization can use and remember from now until Myself, you and everyone that has made this possible are long gone from this plane of existence and in the history books and tongues of Grandmothers and Fathers to be told to their children and children's children"

Heero listened to her and then nodded a bit.
"That doesn't change the fact that the world worries when you are in danger." He didn't add the fact that he worried to. He wasn't sure if he should.

Trowa looked and listened closely to what Quatre had to say. "Do not assume Quatre, it is not becoming of you." About his last statement. "Stress does alot to people." His eyes were once again calm. "Just because there is a disagreement in the family doesn't mean they are cut out or should be kicked out" His attept to make the pilot feel welcomed. So much has happend in such a little time with Trowa, honestly his head was spinning. At a horrible attempt at humor "Duo" 'sternly' "Why wouldn't you want Quatre here...that isn't nice" He saw someone else do it at one point recently and things blew over, he's just hoping he had some luck at it. He had a much much dryer humor so he didn't know.

Quatre looked at Trowa as he spoke, an unreadable expression on his face. But, when Trowa made the joke, his face burst out into a large smile and he began to laugh, holding his sides. His eyes shut as he doubled over slightly still laughing.

Trowa's eyes sparkled as if he smiled that the blonde was a bit more relaxed. He watched him laughing and nodded to Duo "Thanks" under his breath that he could use the braided pilot for a joke. Looking back "We okay now Quatre?"

Duo almost shot something back at Trowa, but then Quatre laughed, so he kept his comment to himself. He was just glad Quatre was laughing. If it came at his own expense this time, he could deal with that. He grinned.
"Alright, so it's settled..." he said. "Now to go get the two boring ones and see if they'll have a good time with us." He laughed.

Mia smiled. She was glad that the tension was gone. And Duo didn't seem to mind that he'd been teased, so she didn't say anything about it, either. From what she remembered, Duo didn't take to being teased very well as a kid, but it had been a long time since they'd seen each other... He'd probably grown.

Quatre nodded. "Yes! Let's go find them." He grabbed Duo's wrist and dragged him to go find Wufei first.
Zechs stepped back quickly to save himself from being run over by a rather excited Winner and Maxwell. He raised an eyebrow at the young woman, who looked like Maxwell, and Barton that followed them. "Do I even want to know?" he asked.

"Its true. They do seem to, but that's because I feel they would be lost without. Humankind has the strength now to go on without me. I know they do--But I also know..some maynot...Some I hold dear to my heart, next to the World, Colonies and the people who live there...still need me to go on, which makes me not to give up living so easily when things like this happen"
Her eyes fixated upon Heero's own eyes. She didn't know if he'd get the hint but it didn't matter. To just say it made her feel relief to say it, and for him to know. She still wouldn't allow her hand to leave his, just make it a bit more loose but not so that he could pull away so easily.
"I care too much about the people here, and..About you.."
She stated lightly, as if in a whisper.

"Hey!" Duo stumbled a bit, pulled off balance by Quatre's enthusiasm. He winced, as Quatre had managed to pull on his injured arm. "Wrong arm..." Before the blond had a chance to get upset, though, Duo used his good arm to give him a playful shove in the right direction, keeping up with him once he got his balance back.
Mia winced as well, trying not to react too much outwardly that anyone else could notice. She smiled a bit at Zechs. "Reunion maybe?" she offered as a lame explanation.

Once again, Heero found himself unsure of the situation. He nodded at her, remembering a few months ago on the abandoned colony after White Fang had tried to hijack the Gundams and assassinate Relena and Quatre. As they had been leaving the colony, they were all going their separate ways. He looked at her, meeting her eyes with his own. Then, as before, he brought her closer and kissed her.

Trowa just watched Quatre nearly rip off poor Duo's bad arm. As they passed Zechs he simply shrugged "And they call me the 'off' pilot..." His dry humor 'shining' through. Sighing he looked out the window and saw a cart coming. Turning back he walked passed Zechs "Long time no see" flatly as he went back downstairs and out the front door. Standing infront of the cart he watched it come to a slow halt and rubbed the horse's noses. Walking around and holding out a hand he helped the driver down and tied the cart safely up. Embracing them he told that the pilots were having a 'reunion' powwow thinggy. (Can't think of the right word) so they walked back in and down the hallway, once up stairs again "Winner? Maxwell? Maxwell Jr.?"

Her eyes were filled with surprise for a moment at the action before softening and eventually closing. His lips were warm against hers as her heart was a bit aflutter again. Slowly, her freehand went to run her fingers lightly through his hair before resting against his shoulder.
Her hand squeezes his a bit again, as she slowly let forth a breath through her nose. It was indeed a surprise but it was a special gift. One that in the end of it all, though the excitement of what had happen today, did indeed make this birthday one of the best to date.
