Aye, but I won't use those. Those weapons, in terms of seafoam canon according to me, was pre-Dark War, pre-League War if one can stretch it.
Why? If we have the technical ability in the Dark Wars to open portals, current day technologies that are cutting edge would've been standard back then.
Also, I associate them with the current state of the world. Seafoam is the technology master of the world. The rest of the world will use these current day weapons, but we're in a renaissance of sorts, with Sam as our R&D head.
So yeah, futuristic technologies all the way.
If Sam is reading this, I'm wondering if we can 'develop' the Spartan Laser.

stare It doesn't help that Chris has arbitrarily given a "technological limit" to things.

That's one reason I ask first before posting.
Although I'd love to just add on modern day full caliber (7.62) battle rifles on there. A 9.5mm Round is to fat for me.

xd The first order of business after Project K is some new armor, incorporating something built into PK-101 (Nanimoryuu)'s...structure so to speak :p

Yeah, I suspected as much about the tech level, but was wondering how a recoilless SMG that fired .45 ammo accurately would stack up against what you're using now.

Well, I'd love it, but then, why not use what we have, and for a modern day .45 ACP SMG, I'd prefer to stock Seafoam with the HK UMP45.
As for armor, I refuse point blank on any armor design that resembles a clone trooper's or a storm trooper's armor.
I prefer the ODST look personally.

Giving Seafoam the Spartan Laser would just be cruel and unusual punishment to our enemies.
Come on, it's a sniper rocket launcher. That's just not right.

Awww...
Well...can I just swap out or include some Battlefield 2142 stuff? We're sorely lacking a weapon in the SAW category.

Oddly enough, I have a suggestion from the same source as my previous question. The XM307. 25mm automatic grenade launcher / .50 cal support weapon. The real life version (and happy melding) of the warthog's main armament and the guass rifle upgrade. Which I figure you'd be saying no to if you're saying no to a sniping rocket launcher. Less damage, maybe. A higher rate of fire should keep even the most gung-ho of fraggers happy.

I watch future weapons. I actually outfitted one of my mortal hunter characters for another guild I've recently joined in Dragonskin body armor. At least, the parts of her that arent' cybernetic. mad
But I'm not a big tech man. I'm the magic man.

XM307 is already in the process of being used.
Also, Pinnacle Armor SOV-2000 is nice. It's level III rated...level IV is still pending, but if it passes level IV, it can withstand multiple hits of 7.62 AP rounds.
But the Warthog's weapons stay, a MG style like the M41 LAAG is effective. It use the same exact 12.7x99mm as the modern day M2 HB Machine Gun, but with futuristic tech, I'd assume with much better armor pentration capabilities and more refined powder mixes. Also, less heating problems. Downside, if a warthog is disabled but not destroyed, I doubt there will be any battery power left to run the thing.
The M68 Gauss Cannon is effective enough in it's role as an Anti-Armor platform.
The XM307 is a platoon weapon, meant to be with the heavy weapons squad, or a company support weapon, in the heavy weapons platoon. Not really suitable for a squad of marines storming an area and need fire, and unable to get support from a Warthog.

*Starts humming Magic Man by Heart.*
That's going to be stuck in my head all day long now. -_-
But yeah, anything that can stop multiple rounds that make steel into swiss and a frag grenade is... impressive.
*Tosses FA-6 LMG into google and reads.*
Well damn, that's a pretty gun. Makes me want to play BF2142.

When it comes to matters supernatural, I think the only people that could match me would be Komm and Dischord; I whore magic like Nintendo whores Pokemon. I haven't seen much of Sam's foray into the supernatural, so I can't really say. Most everyone else does tech stuff, so really, I find ways around j00r gunz.
Yez. I pinch.
