what happens if we put all the guild members names into the friend list of Kindreds Master? Then you could do something like this.
mail tie-in
a new option will become active once you start your friendslist, but in the mail system. when starting a new message, you have the option of send to friendslist. clicking this button, will put "friends@gaia" in the username field. this will then send the message that you compose to *everyone* on your friendslist. you can also send to multiple users on your friendslist, by typing in their names, seperated by commas. this will only work for users who are *currently* on your friendslist, and will not work for users who are not.

I think that should only work with mutual friends, so people don't get unwanted mail. Other than that, it sounds like a great idea!
