Yeah, so, the guilds being out was annoying. And the new stuff is nifty, but somehow I don't feel like I'm going to be using it a lot. 0.o

Anyway, it totally threw off my eventually getting a profile up for you guys. So I'm going to be a little bit late, because now the free period in my life has passed and I have to get some stuff out of my schedule's way. If I was only Rping it wouldn't be a problem, but actually attempting to craft a well-done bio requires a little more space. I'll try to get back to you as quickly as possible though.

I'm glad that people are actually coming here... A number of my other guilds are completely dead.

Grr... I'm starting to feel like some kind of digital necro...

That's an interesting idea. How do the new dice rolls work, anyhow? I read the announcement sticky about all the new changes but it didn't say anything about how they actually work...

We could also use the random number feature. If the dice roll doesn't work out.

@Bloom - I understand. Take your time. The guilds going out was pretty inconvenient for everybody. I was afraid everything was going to die again. I'm relieved to see that isn't the case. =D

Oh, yes, the dice rolls look fascinating. And should be helpful, we should test them.

Ooer! It's like D&D now.

The question now would be what numbers equal what. I'm unfortunately not intimately familiar with the D&D rule sets, though they're not totally foreign to me.

I'm not sur ehow it works, either, but I'm sure we could write up a chart.
Euphoric Ghost rolled 2 20-sided dice: 15, 10 Total: 25 (2-40)

Dice roller is pretty simple.

You select a die.

Then in the space put how many times you have to roll'em.

I'll attack with my +6 tissue paper!
Because I have 2 handed wielding ability, i'll use two buahahah!

Anyways, the number in bold is what you rolled and the one besides Total, is the total of your results.

Oh and I'll be posting tonight, but more likely sometime tomorrow smile

Ah, I only played 2nd Edition. Not the new one, if we wanted, we can always run a 2nd Ed. DnD Game. I got the three main books. Buahaha.

There are different editions of the D&D rules. They change them and update them every so often to keep up with the fan base. I think the most recent one is version six? Or has it gone to seven already?

Anyway, if you've got some books on the matter Ghost, that would help considerably. The next question would be if anyone in this guild would actually be willing to implement the dice-rolling technique when fights broke out, or if they'd just forget.

Nuuu! Lolz. Even at the basics there's so much things to remember when battling and such. It's better to just make a simple system for combat that would be based partly on chance and then modified by skill.

Here's a simple one, lets say there's combat system that requires a single roll of the dice. Each one in the battle will roll their dice in their entrance post to the scene, then after everyone in the battle has rolled and posted their entrance. The winner of the dice rolling event would be the winner of the battle.

Then the RPers just RP it out as long and as dramatic as they want, they plan out what happens and such, do anything they want just as long as the dice rolling winner wins. -nods-
