<---from band
Kimiko practically ran to the cafeteria to be sure to beat the rush of students. Even so, there were still a few that were ahead of her. But she got her food and quickly claimed her usual table in the back corner of the room next to the window. She set her tray down and snapped apart the chopsticks. Her other hand pulled the notebook out of her backpack, and opened it to the page she had been writing on during Music Theory class. Taking the gnawed pen from its perch over her ear, she tapped it on the edge of the table, her mouth already full of food. Chewing thoughtfully, she re-read what she had written.
So I sit here drifting In the winds of time eternal Focus seems so to be out of reach. Past memories haunt my every waking moment But am I doomed to repeat the past? Why do I fear it? Why? Because I thought of you. I thought of your face falling through those depths Falling endlessly as I watched. And I could not bear the thought...
She stared thoughtfully, and her penpoint hit the page again.
And I could not bear the thought of seeing it again. Why? Why was it your face I saw? Why did I think of you? What would you think of me, if you knew? If you knew what I had done. If you knew why I had done it. If you knew my secret.
She sighed and leaned back, tucking the pen over her ear again as she continued eating. She read and re-read the words, tapping the ends of her chopsticks on her bowl. She didn't really like this one...But she didn't want to tear it out. Maybe she would edit it later....

Yuusuke walked into the cafeteria, and encountering a relatively short line, waited for a few minutes for his food. He looked around the cafeteria, attempting to scout out his seat early. He thought he saw someone familiar in the back corner of the dining room, but he wasn't sure. Besides, how many people did he know here?
He was shoved by a student behind him as the line moved forward. He turned around, fist balled up, but caught himself before he threw a punch. Instead, he just grimaced at the smaller boy behind him, before walking forward to fill the gap.
He got to the serving line and looked at the selection. Hamburgers, pizza, and otherwise normal food graced the lines. At least the food was better than in jail.
He grabbed a tray and 2 burgers, along with a bottle of soda and a bag of chips. He went up to the cashier, nodded silently, and handed her his ID card. She swiped it nonchalantly, and he went off to the dining room. He found a seat in the middle of the cafeteria, and sat down. He looked around, trying to make sure there was no-one trying to fuxk with him, when he noticed Kimi in the back corner. He nodded to her, then turned back to his food.
He looked down at the burgers, poured some ketchup on them, and started to eat.

Kimiko caught sight of Yuusuke, and she had to quickly surpress a grin. She lifted her hand in recognition, not sure if she was glad or not that he wasn't sitting with her. He was nice enough, but she didn't like the idea that he might bring up the topic of their interrupted conversation at the student union.
Another idea occured to her. Maybe he had gone running. After all, no one wants to be involved with a murderer...She sighed and looked down at the page in her notebook. Well, it was the same old. Better to have him run off now. She ripped the page out and crumpled it up. She dropped the ball on her empty plate and gathered her things. She got up and went up to dump her trash. She took a route that would take her past Yuusuke.
"I'll be by later to pick up my notebook." she said. "Ja ne."

Yuusuke smirked at Kimi as she passed by. He didn't think that she would be offended -- she had to have seen how different he was in crowded areas. How was he going to fix this one?
"Un," he called after her. "B-32, ne? Bring some music or something. It'll be fun."
He grinned, knowing she was going to look back. She was probably confused, but that was OK. He was good at confusing people. In fact, he kind of enjoyed it.

Kimiko glanced over her shoulder at him. Music? But wasn't he...She raised a brow. Maybe he wasn't scared? She felt a smile lift the corner of her mouth and she waved.
"Hai, I'll try and dig up something." she called. "After classes then."
She wouldn't need the note
She paused in the act of dumping her tray, looking at the crumpled paper. She snatched it off the tray and shoved it into her pocket, dumped the rest and headed outside.
Who knows? Maybe he won't go running after all. she mused.

Yuusuke smirked. Yep, she was definitely confused, alright. He laughed inwardly as he gathered up his stuff and walked over to the trash can. He unceremoniously dumped his tray in the garbage, and blended in with the crowd, following Kimi. Maybe she was going somewhere that there wouldn't be as many people around.

-----------> Nanahara's room
Miko came to a halt within the caferteria, scratching the back of one multicolored leg with the shoe of her other foot. She looked up and down the cafeteria. Still pretty empty, for the most part. Someone as recognizable as Nyas-sama would definitely stand out.
"Well, I don't see Nyas-sama, Kohai-chan. Why don't we grab some grub and save her a seat. I really have no idea where to look for her. " Miko rubbed her nub of a nose absently as she led the way toward the food.
"Yatta! Fresh donuts. Guess this day isn't all bad, ne? Ne, ne, ne?" She slipped an arm around the younger, smaller girl's shoulder. Man, did she love being called Sempai. It was really pretty awesome, being looked up to. Miko wasn't used to it at all. She was the admirer, not the admired.

======> from F-22
Ayumi followed Miko into the cafeteria, nearly running into the older girls back when she suddenly stopped. Ayumi was so close, that the smell of cafeteria food was eclipsed by the scent of Miko's body. "Wow!!! You smell really good Sempai. I just have the urge to bite you right now, I love the smell of fresh fruit."
As Miko slipped her arm around Ayumi's shoulder, she felt a bit of security with Miko. "Hai sempai, fresh donuts always make me feel a little better." Ayumi leaned her head against Miko's side before reaching for a bowl of rice and a plate of donuts. "We can share the donuts sempai, I only want one anyway. If I eat too many, my tummy hurts."
She handed her card to the lunchlady and walked out holding her tray. "Oi Sempai, there's Yoku. Let's sit with him, Nyas-sama should see us sitting with him. I invited him to eat with us, he looks so lonely sometimes." Ayumi skipped over to the table and sat her tray down. "Sorry we're late Yoku, we had a little....accident to take care of." Ayumi's hands flew to her mouth as a chuckle began to build when she thought about Miko's accident. "But everythings fine now, right Sempai."

When he saw Ayumi and Miko coming he stood up and bowed before he sitted back again.
"No need to aplogize" He said friendly. "All that matters is that you girls have come" He still was looking away. Still afraid that they would see the eyes of a murderer.

Miko came up behind Ayumi as she made her aplogies, and, her face turning bright red, gave the younger girl a bop on the head.
"You overshare, Kohai-chan..." Miko murmered, though there was no anger in it. "But, hai hai, everything is super cool. Hi hi, Yoku-kun. " Miko sat down the tray on the table across from Yoku, then pulled out a chair for Ayumi, leaving the chair to her other side unoccupied for Nyas.
As she waited for Ayumi to sit she gave Yoku a funny look.
"Oi-oi-oi, Yoku-kun. Again with the shifty eyes. What's up with that? You think I'm ugly or something?"

Nyas strolled into the cafeteria, her stomach still grumbling at her. She ignored it and strolled over to the lunchlines, still whistling tunelessly. She eyes the food, before making a selection, and heading up to the lunchlady. Her card was scanned and she pocketed it, before turning around to see if Miko was there. All she had to look for was pink hair and...Ah-HAH! Cat eared headband right ahead!.
Nyas came up behind the girls quietly, making a sign for Yoku to be quiet. She plopped her tray down in front of the empty seat beside Miko and leaned over to press a kiss to the girl's cheek.
"Miss me, Neko-chan?" she asked, straddling her chair, and straightening the bandana tied around her raven mane.

"Oi,....gomennasai Sempai. I've learn to just shut up and nod from now on." Ayumi rubbed the top of her head and bowed to Miko. The bop on the head didn't hurt as much as it had surprised her. She bowed to Miko and sat down in the chair, sliding closer to the table before picking up her chopsticks.
Ayumi was just about to dig in when she saw a large shadowy figure approach. When she turned her head to see who it was, she saw 'Nyas-sama.....she's.....oops.....don't look Ayumi'. She threw her hands over her eyes, bits of rice flew across the table as the chopsticks came along for the ride.

"Nyas-sama!" Miko squealed in delight. She blushed as she felt the kiss pressed to her cheek, then flinched as she felt bits of rice bounce off her other cheek. She giggled at Ayumi, ruffling the smaller girl's hair before smiling at Nyas once more.
"Hai hai, Nyas-sama, of course I missed you! Did you make it to class on time? I was a little bit late but just a teensy tiny bit so the teacher didn't shock me. She was a substitute anyway. She seemed kinda nice. I think she might be American or something, cuz she had an accent, even though she spoke Japanese really well, ne? It was kinda cool. you know what else was cool? When she slapped her hand on that big dumb stupid baka that like to mess with Kazz-kun's desk. Cuz he totally deserved it. And I think he might've gotten shocked too. I hope so, cuz he totally deserved it. He makes Kazz-kun so mean. I'm not used to seeing Kazz-ku mean. He always like 'woah, don't you just dig these vibes' and all that weird stuff. You know he always sits under the same tree in the courtyard, and he even named it Sakura. He talks to it and everything. I bet there's a patch in the grass in the shape of Kazz-kun's butt, teehee. But still, he's super nice. I wonder where he went to, I kinda ran out of class in a hurry. We usually walk to lunch together, but lately he's been acting like cigarettes are food. I'm kinda worried about him. " Miko paused long enough to get a nice healthy swallow of fruit punch. Suddenly her outh felt really dry. SHe picked up a sprinkled donut the placed it on a napkin in front of Ayumi, before picking up a powdered one for herself.
"So, how is your day going so far, Nyas-sama? Are you mentally preparing yourself for having me around all day everyday? I heard that you have to do that, ne? Mentally prepare to hang around me. that's what Ren-kun says to me anyway. Wow, I haven't seen him all day either. I wonder what he's up to. And Cyn-kun. But I bet he's with his new bouyfriend. Cyn-kun and Zo-kun are soooo kawaii, but it's so weird not seeing Cyn-kun with a girl. I mean not like he's a slutbutt like Ren-kun, but still, girls like him. I used to have a crush on him, back when I first got here, ne. He's a pyro you know. That's just kinda cool. I dunno why. It is though. I was standing right there when he set the trashcan on fire. It was like my first day, and I was all sick from Admissions, but that was the first thing I ever saw...you know, outside Admissions, ne. it was awesome. Course now he can't uy matches, but still... pretty cool. "

Ayumi removed her hands from her face as she felt Miko's hand ruffle her hair. She looked back down to her bowl and began to eat her rice while Miko prattled on about the whole days story between the assembly and lunch.
When the donut was slid in front of her, Ayumi smiled, looked at Miko and gave her a nod. She was serious about keeping her mouth shut for a while. When Miko skipped over being put in the trashcan, she nearly spilled the beans again. She wanted to say something, but didn't know what was going to come out of her mouth if she did.
Ayumi turned her attention back to the rice, wanting to finish it before she devoured her donut. This one looked even tastier than the one from yesterday, and by god, she was going to savor each delectable bite.
