Hello!
I recently returned to Gaia since I'm on break for the summer and I was looking for people to talk to.
I have found my people.
I started watching Hannibal in the middle of the week before the first finale.
I binged. So hard. I was instantly hooked. Hannibal is everything I never knew I needed in a television show.
So naturally, I drew a few portraits waiting for the finale, obsessed, devoured the books and then binged all the movies.
I don't have a problem.
The show is absolutely GORGEOUS though. Could anyone really blame me?

19, bio major, stats minor. I liked the movies, saw the series. I like Hannibal Lecter as a whole. Haven't read the books, though.

Hey, guys! I just joined the guild, but I was part of angel's dining room thread in the hannibal hot topic forum that got archived.
I first watched the show right before the second season started. When the first season aired, I became intrigued by the show from the few clips and previews I came across but I was too lazy to watch from the beginning. When I found out the second season was starting, I quickly binged the first season so I could watch the second season on time. Since then, I've been watching each episode every Friday along with my fellow fannibals in the dining room thread all the way to the finale. I hope I can continue the tradition next season!
Like Kriyon said, the show is gorgeous. The main reason I love this show is for its visuals. There are no other shows that look like Hannibal. The tone and colors, haunting images, unique wardrobe--they all captivate me. I'm a fan of horror but I've never appreciated it for beauty until I saw this show.
I'm not too familiar with the Hannibal universe. I've only watched Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal Rising, so it's kind of fun not knowing what to expect in the show. I do want to watch more movies and read the books one day, though.
Anyway, enough about me. I look forward to talking to you all here! 3nodding

Hi there~
I just joined and finally got the note lol. Ummm besides Hannibal I do enjoy the Game of Thrones show. For both Hannibal and Game of Thrones, I have read all the books. I have seen the old movies but it's been a while and the same goes for the books.
I actually saw the third episode when my Mom and sister were watching it and season one was just starting. It was like love at first site hahaha. It was easy catching up ya know? XD
I am also slowly making my way up to Season Nine in Supernatural. I am half way done with Season Four and I admit, Tumblr did play a small part in my curiosity and wanting to see what the show is about.
I've yet to get into Sherlock and Dr. Who and it's on the list of shows to watch once I manage to catch up on Supernatural.
I work full time and now I am a new Aunt. C: My sister gave birth recently so I'm very excited!

Hannibal is such an interesting character on his own. I can only imagine what it must be like for the actors who play him and have to interpret him off the page. He's like a real person because he's so well written.

I finally finished season nine of supernatural it was a long road of catching up, but i'm there! Its a roller-coaster all the time. Sherlock is amazing! you need that in your life and in the 9th episode you get to watch the wonder that is Mads Mikkelson's brother Lars! He's almost as creepy in his roll as Mads is as Hannibal

I must say that I'm an odd Hannibal fan as I never watched the movie nor the series. And I didn't even know that there were books on the subject... sweatdrop
SO I'm a rude girl who got in the Hannigram fandom through tumblr and fanfictions... whee
I'm not a great fan of horror/gore as I'm a scaredy cat, but I can't wait to find and watch the episode on DVD ! lol

Before watching the series Hannibal, I had only ever seen Silence of the Lambs (great movie!). What actually interested me in the series, other than the intriguing nature of the Hannibal stories, was the fact that Hugh Dancy was finally playing a part outside of the romantic comedies for which he is usually reserved. What kept me watching: it was awesome!
Anyway, just wanted to thank you all for the invitation to the guild! ^_^ Whether I will be daring enough to venture into the Hannibal's dinning room is yet to be seen. ; P
