"Lay off, Lou. She's just trying to help me out." Amrita narrowed her eye at the boil, disapproving of his general behaviour.

"Do not call me Stitchtits." She returned the card to the deck, all of her stubborn resolve faltering as he mentioned a significant other. Oh Jack. Um. "I-I don't have a significant other! Not dating a-anyone...But I do have a date for Prom." She tried to save the situation, but failed.

"I-it's okay Poke. No harm done yet, I can handle him." Poke's yelling was a good distraction from thinking about her marital status issues, and she had turned to the ghoul with a soft voice and a reassuring smile.

Vanya smiled at Matty as he offered to get them drinks and it was then she noticed the way he avoided her so obviously. A brow raised and she wondered if perhaps she had done something to make him uncomfortable. Of course, she had done many things to make him uncomfortable but those things didn't occur to her. She pursed her lips for a moment before smiling again. "Of course, a dance sounds lovely." She offered her hand to frost before turning to Matty.

"You may steal the next dance."

"That's true! It is the most fantastic date." she paused, making sure the plate of food was left on the stage for Nahm for later.

Angeline was more than happy to tag along with Terra, linking arms with her as they headed off towards the games.

At least as long as Terra was leading she hoped that was where they were going.

Your frustration sustained him, Poke. It was like getting mad at an inanimate object. Nothing seemed to phase him.

"You should ask yourself the same question, about taking hints and such." The boil cooed, Amrita's commands going in one ear and out the other.

"Well she's harassing me, and I'm just trying to be nice." An obvious fake pout followed.

And then the ghoul gave Lou too much information. "Oh. So you're not dating anyone. You're just preoccupied tonight. I see, I see." A big, disturbing grin cracked through his friendly facade. "They're overrated anyways. Significant others. You should enjoy the freedom."

And now for the trick. It looked like lou was about to start shuffling, but clumsily (or very on purposefully) let the cards fly out of his control and scatter on the floor. "Oh. Would you look at that? Clumsy me." Another fake pout. "You should totally bend over in that short dress and help me pick these up... So I can finish the trick."

... Now would be a good time to walk away, while he had other things to do.

To say Eitri was excited about the prom was a bit of an understatement; especially when he and a fur-clad Siska arrived and he looked upon the set up in awe. The students sure knew how to throw a party, that was for sure! The horseman had made an effort to look presentable himself; actually wearing a shirt and pants that weren't covered in dirt and coal dust. The shirt had puffy sleeves and a high collar that framed his face. He wore a black vest; decorated with perfectly stitched embroidery. He wore simple black pants and black dress shoes. Ying might have had a say in what he was wearing tongiht, but the bone mask that adorned his face was all his doing. A little Death flare, if you will.

He turned to his date, her arm looped through his and gave her a smile. "Where to first?" He had intended to be drunk for most of this affair - what was a party without alchohol, anyway? - but he had made a promise to himself to be as gentlemanly as he could. Of course, that didn't stop him from packing a flask (or two) to make things a little interesting.

Dresses were not made for warriors. Siska tugged at the edge of her simple dark blue skirt a little uncomfortably. Still, at least she could move freely. And she'd even caught the creature she'd used for the fur lining herself. She was rather proud. She wore a tiny top hat in theme with the event with a little mammal skull attached for support of her date and her clan.

The dance was... busy. Busier than she'd anticipated, at least. Sometimes she forgot that the combined student and horseman bodies were actually fairly significant numbers. She looked up at her date with a small and slightly overwhelmed smile. "We could dance? Or get something to eat."

Well, to be fair, stealth and Hel didn’t belong in the same sentence…and if she believed she could avoid Freya all prom…well…that was just too high a hope. Plus, she was going to take her phone away sooner or later! The ghoul crossed her arms, scowling. “I told you, you harpy, I am wearing the dress for the second half of prom! You do not listen to anything I tell you!”

She looked over at Kettil, and immediately grinned. “Thank you! I truly appreciate it…also, you still owe me a dance.” She then winked at the Muut…because yeah, she was out to get Freya all ruffled still. Hel glanced back as Helmut hid behind her and Bella, and she shot a look back at her sister. “Look at you! Stop scaring the scarelings!” She reached back and planted a hand on Helmut’s fluffy head. “Do not be afraid of her, she is just a bunch of hot air.”

She then linked her other arm with Bella’s, smug. “They are all my dates.” She announced, and then…

“….MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!” Hel bellowed, even though he was standing right next to her. She grinned happily up at the grim, and laughed. “This is suitable! Great shirt, shows off my assets really nice!” She cried. “You are lucky I am even wearing clothes! If Amrita was not watching, I would be naked!”
