"I found something," Ariane slid a picture that she had found in one of the fashion magazines while wandering around the booths towards Belladonna. She then got the strangest urge to say something about striped stockings... So she did.
"Also, striped stockings, depending on the stripe pattern, can make your legs look slimmer and longer. They're cool, in my books," Not that she would wear them. She then remembered that she was in the golem of a male werewolf, and decided to quickly add, "Or so says my sister, who likes to talk about these... Things. If she ever gets enrolled here, I bet you two would get along."

 Mayaa looked up at the gown. So beautiful, elegant...
Then she read the little blurb placed near it.
In... memorium?
Did... someone... die?
A hand flew to her mouth, holding back a choked gasp.
There was... a death here? How horrible...
Though she didn't know the student in question, just the thought of losing a classmate, a friend...
She picked up a rose and placed it on the gown, wishing to respect the memory.
A single tear rolled down her cheek.

Familiar? Israfel chimed in. Reapers use them to channel magic. They might be demons or spirits- it’s not something I know much about sadly, it was never my prerogative to learn the lives of reapers. But this is not a good time to ask. The island would have more information I would think.Useful as always, Solia nodded her head like she understood it. But- “So wait, what happened to him is not common but it happens more than it should?” Arms crossed as she gave Belladonna a look. “What’s that supposed to mean?” Mort’s question got a shrug. “I don’t have my sewing stuff anymore. And- well… part of the fun was meeting other people who shared my interests.. which is kinda… useless now.” Her life of social convention butterfly was over. RIP fem!Sollux costume, she knew ye well. RIP conventions. She would mourn her loss of swag another day. This day, she was to get minis and answers. Mostly minis.

Don't give me that look you sneaky snake.Instead of looking put off by the comment and Sol's obviously thinning patience with the witch, Belladonna heaved a defeated sigh. So this Siren wanted answers? She/He/It wanted to know? Fine. The witch would take a chance, risk this little bit and certainly tip the zombie at her side off to what was going on. Hopefully, as Mort could be a bit thick headed when the obvious was staring him in the face... With a lowered voice, as well as a slight lean forward so that it seemed Belladonna was placing her trust in the siren, the witch told her. "I am very sorry, but... A very bad group of people killed him." It was more or less the truth, and hopefully enough to sway this little conversation in the proper direction. Conventions were not something Belladonna was altogether familiar with, that was Mort's territory, but she knew enough to still participate in their chat. "If you'd like I can give you a really great website that has amazing sewing supplies. They ship anywhere!" A warm smile was offered with the suggestion, though it wilted a little. "Is something stopping you from going?"If these conventions were as fun as they seemed, why would anyone let anything stop them? Why indeed?

Serafina was fascinated by Galahad, and inched closer to the minipet, putting her hand out. "Here doggie~," she purred, closing her eyes as she attempts to pet the pet.
Yewouch! The ghost faded a bit as she drew her hand back, shaking it in distaste. How rude!

Anthe walked up to the fashion booth ready to see what was happening. She was greeted by a Snapkitty that looked innocent enough. She decided to try and pet since it looked friendly.... SNAP. Ouch! Anthe pulled her hand away from the mini. That hurt. She held her hand as she looked at the damage.

Yin saw there were minipets to play with, but he could not resist the pull of fashion. The need to take clothing, put it on a mannequin, style it to his tastes. Relaxing. That was what it was. Maybe...maybe joining a fashion club was not that bad of an idea. Something to focus on other than fighting for a while.
