sounds like you had a great time Fawn, do we get to see you in your lovely new dress?
no-one seems to do much in England for Easter, apart from sit around scoffing chocolate of course, i was meant to go over to my Mum's yesterday for lunch but my sister's ill so it's been postponed until next weekend.
because Easter is our first long weekend of the year the roads are jammed with people towing caravans and the seaside resorts are full of people sat around in the rain! the Easter weekend is notorious for having awful weather but it doesn't stop people from heading for the nearest stretch of coastline so they can sit and shiver in their deckchairs

I got my donation letters in less than 5 minutes!!!
Yaay! Paypal!EbilKitty It can take up to a week to get the letters, but as long as they got the payment in March you should get a March letter 3nodding

I got my donation letters in less than 5 minutes!!!
Yaay! Paypal!EbilKitty It can take up to a week to get the letters, but as long as they got the payment in March you should get a March letter 3nodding pooh! not got mine yet! maybe i should have gone through paypal afterall.. i shall remember for next time *wants her kitty* crying

Hey , it sounds like you had a great easter Fawn ! congrats on the egg hunting skills. Adults don't get thought about in the fun scheme of things here.
Do you mean that the kids actually hunt real hard boiled colored eggs ? not chocolate ? Wow ! we would not be able to get Aussie kids excited about that smile i guess i could send Bella out to dodge poo in Brad's chicken pen though and hunt eggs.
Most of my easter news was posted at yahoo. But i just remembered that Bella had the pre-easter fun of watching Chickens hatch at kindy. She was convinced that she was going to be allowed to take a chicken home to keep . I may have some explaining to do if the chickens are not at kindy tomorrow when she returns from the easter break.
must go finish answering emails ,just started talking to best friend again after about a year .

Yup! Real, dyed, colored, hard-boiled eggs ever since I was little! Jade had fun dying them too. They get chocolate in their easter baskets that they find when they wake up though. Chocolate, marshmallows, and strange gifts like.. movies and swimsuits! LOL

We always hunted real hard boiled eggs too. Didn't get to participate in the easter fun this year cuz Kevin's family had all their kid easter fun in the AM and then had the rest of us over for dinner. They did get bambi from the Easter Bunny tho and we tried to watch it ("he can call me flower...if he wants to") but i think they're still too young to appreciate it. Not enough action for them (4&5)
The great part tho was that they didn't leave me alone. As soon as I got there they were yelling "Aunt Jazmyn! Aunt Jazmyn! Come downstairs!" as i was trying to talk to Kevin's mom and Aunt Sue. Made me feel wanted and loved, so it was all good. I love those boys...not enough to have my own, but I'll borrow them occassionally.
Now that I've totally ranted about nothing and bored everyone, I'll go to my blog lol *hugs* heart

We never hunted for eggs, we hunted for our baskets. My father would start us off with a note on the fireplace and we would go from there. Now first I must tell you we had a three story house (being the basement, main floor, upstairs, and attic). But he never sent us to the attic. We would go upstairs for some clues and basement for the next and so on and so on... We had a blast and by the time we found the goodies, we were exhausted! Still do it for my kids, but it's not as much fun with only one floor to work with.

Jaz! Your new outfit is extremely cute! It's like you're my gold cousin surprised ) I wish I would have known those letters are so valuable! I donated $5.00 to gaia and got one of each, the robo doggie and the plushie kitty. Oh, well. fawN! Glad to hear you had a nice Easter! I love Jade stories. hehehe I am trying to imagine how you stuffed her little swimsuit into a little egg? Or was it a larger one? And I never liked the hard boiled yolks either, yuck! In fact, I don't like them much any consistency to be honest, only once in awhile will I eat them over easy with a couple of pieces of toast but I really have to be in the mood. *muah*
