Ontaros was caught off guard by her question but it is only a moment "Well really the only thing I ask is that you be courteous to my other friends that pass through here to be honest. Respect aside I dont really ask much" He smiles warmly "I'm just generally interested in learning about unique individuals such as yourself and I try to invite as many of them to join me as possible, I'm quite fascinated by things like that, I just want to know as much as I can about all I can." he smiles widely. He stops however and blinks "But there is one thing I failed to mention, though, but knowing what I know about you so far I doubt it will be a problem. The Spell Jammer is so named because of the magic dampening field that it produces, so any magical abilities you have could be hampered either slightly or greatly depending on your level of skill. However for most it works as something of magical resistance training and it helps you improve quicker than under normal circumstances." he smiles to her again.

Laughing softly to himself he arches an eyebrow "Do you mean to tell me you believe the tail you have isn't unique? Judging by that I know you're clearly not human. Not a pure blood if any that is. That aside your fighters spirit is something else that attracted me to you. You're devout to your training. There must be some reason to it and if you would allow me the privilege, I'd love to know your story." He nods matter of factly.

He looks about the hall and stretches a little. "The reason I gather you here is because this is my home and I genuinely wish to make friends with everyone I've invited here. Contrary to your previous statement about friends, making friends is one of the most important things to me." Nodding again, then smiles. "The dampening field was the added bonus to building my castle here. The it's a natural occurring phenomena for the Spell Jammer, simply one of the talents it was born with. But really I only have my brother to thank for befriending it."

Ontaros grins broadly "Well in order for you to really understand where it is we are I'd need to show you for yourself..." he stands and takes a few steps forward before offering his hand to her. "This is part of the adventure..." He seemed quite proud of the 'secret' he was about to show.

When she takes the mages hand, there is no follow. If her eyes had been closed she'd never have known that they'd moved at all. Just before they teleport Ontaros simply says "I hope your not afraid of heights." and then suddenly all around them was nothing but the vast blue sky as far as the eye could see. Below however was a different story. Sere could see the castle, the castle grounds, the woods, and then suddenly the terrain changed on the outskirts... It was actually moving. What was beneath them was a massive cloud skate, and beneath the Spell Jammer was a snowy white blanket of clouds. "This creature is who I am refering to when I say the Spell Jammer."

Ontaros thought a moment before explaining it. "Simply put its an extra dimensional creature, it has the ability to travel from plane to plane at it's whim but seems to have a personal affinity with the Material Plane strangely enough. It's basic outward anatomy is that of a manta ray but it's clearly much much more than the sea creature it resembles. I communicate with it telepathicly, and others with similar talents and a little courage can communicate with it as well if they wished. Once you get to know it, it's quite intelligent but the only problem is, it thinks quite slowly so conversations have gone on for days with little actually being said." he laughs loudly thinking about some of the talks he's had with the Spell Jammer.

Ontaros laughs again and simply says "I wouldn't be a very good host and would certainly get few true friends if I weren't kind m'lady." He seemed to be watching the Spell Jammer with a smile, a distant thought could be seen in his eyes. After a moment he looks back to his new friend. "Do you have any questions thus far?" His head cocked a little to one side in curiosity.

Ontaros nods and they find themselves back in the main hall and he looks around. "Well if you're hungry or thirsty while you're up here, the quill and parchments on the tables here are enchanted to take your order and deliver to you. Inside the castle there is the medical wing, the artifice wing, and the dorms. You also have my personal quarters but they are precisely that, MY quarters. Not to be rude but the things that go on beyond that door..." he points towards the door in question "Are simply not safe for anyone other than myself to be exposed to. It's not certain death, but it certainly is very dangerous back there and I'd rather not lose anyone because one of my studies were to get out of hand...."

Thinking a moment he decides it best to explain the free standing door in the middle of the room. "This little device here is the way off and on the Spell Jammer. Each of the selections on the dial on the side of the doorway correspond with a major city I have dealings with. I used it to get around quickly and easily before but now it's mostly used by my friends to get to and from the ground."
