Suddenly, the curtain ripped open and Anya walked through. "Good, you're awake," the faerie commented before she pushed back Lute's bangs to stare at the scarred eyes. "Now, what happened with this?"

Lute jumped, hearing the curtain suddenly be opened and Anya's voice pop up. He was about to say something when he felt his bangs being moved, no doubt the faerie wanted to see his eyes. He couldn't talk for a minute before swallowing a little. "M-My dad used to try and tame animals. A baby roc got quite mad at him, but I happened to be in front of it." he said, nervous that the faerie wouldn't believe it. Though it was true.

Anya smiled a little, glad to hear that the blindness was from a wound. She turned his head from side to side slowly, inspecting the wound around it and his eyes. "Very good. Now, when is your birthday?"

Lute felt his head be moved, not fighting it since it was Anya. Then she asked him his birthday. "12th day of Winter. This actually happened on my birthday. The roc was supposed to be a present." he said, laughing dryly.
[OOC:] I don't think they've developed months yet so I left it to seasons. Like in Harvest Moon. Is that ok?

[OOC:] Totally fine! Good job at keeping it authentic biggrin By moon, I mean from full moon to full moon. Like a month, but not... Yeah... sweatdrop Anya nodded. Even more fitting. His birthday was only two moons away. Perfect. "Good, good. Now, I'll leave you again. Oh, wait," the faerie said before she left. "Chloe's father was wondering what happened to her cheek? It healed not long after you two got here, but still."

Lute gave a small shrug. "I don't know. I believe someone hit her. It might have been one of the demons that spoke to me. The leader one. I think he hit her, but I didn't press her for details." he said, glancing to over where he had felt Chloe resting.

Yuke, who'd been sitting outside the curtain, growled and teleported out and into Jethrow's office, where the wizard was speaking to the four boys. Angrily, Yuke grabbed Moore by his collar and punched him square in the jaw. Jethrow groaned softly and sent a message for Natalia to come quick; she'd be the only one who could call off her husband.
Anya rolled her eyes at Yuke's behavior, then turned back to Lute. "Do you ever wanna see again?"

Lute thought some and smiled, shaking his head. "Nah. I've grown so used to being blind. I like it this way." he said.
Natalia came quickly to Jethrow's office and pulled her husband off the boy, telling him to calm down.

Anya frowned and tilted her head. "You don't wish you could see? See the trees, the sky, anything?"
Yuke was fuming. He looked down at Natalia then back at the boy. "He hit our daughter, Natalia!"

Lute just smiled some. "Nah. I don't need to see. I have my other senses. Besides, the eyes are the most easy to deceive." he said, relaxing in his bed.
Natalia gasped some, looking to the boy, but still held Yuke back. "But you got your revenge, now please calm down."

"Well alright then," Anya said quietly. She'd been planning on healing his eyes with a spell she'd recently discovered. It would have been ready just before his birthday, which was why she'd asked. Shrugging, the faerie drew the curtain again, then left the medical wing.
Yuke continued to glare at the boy before he left the room, his arm around Natalia's shoulders. "I'd better not see that punk's face ever again in my life."

Lute heard the faerie leave and sighed some. He then reached out, his fingers finding Chloe's hair, petting it softly once more.
Natalia sighed, walking him back to their room. A warm bath should calm him down. "Don't worry. He's being expelled and kicked off the grounds." she said, getting him to come into the bathroom with her. Once she had the tub filled with warm water, she got him to undress and get in.

Chloe shifted again as she slept, her eye opening a little. She kept her breathing steady, pretending to be asleep as she smiled. Lute's fingers on her hair were so comforting that she just closed her eyes, but she didn't fall alseep.
Yuke moved numbly with Natalia, then dipped his bright red knuckles under the water with a sigh. "Are you going to go check on her?"

Natalia smiled some and pet Yuke. "Once I have you taken care of." she said, kissing his cheek.
Lute continued to pet Chloe, enjoying the feeling of her silky locks. He didn't notice her wake since her breathing was still the same and she didn't make a noise.

Yuke sighed softly and looked up at Natalia. A smirk crossed his face and he reached up, grabbing her arms and pulling her into the water with him.
Chloe opened her eyes again and watched Lute's face. She smirked a little and murmured, "I don't like the honey-flavor shoes," to see his reaction.
