I'd say my fascination lies more in the 'From the People that brought you Interview With a Vampire' bit.
And I just really enjoy Saoirse Ronan's work. Loved her in Hanna. And I believe she's going to be in the Host.

Personally I've never really liked Anne Rice's stuff, but I can see how it has appeal to other people, as opposed to other more modern vampire fiction.
