Yumi stood by her cousin and pat her shoulder softly, looking at the downed boy.
Apollo came bounding in, moving past Demetri and whined, nuzzling the boy, who groaned a little.
Lute felt Apollo nuzzle him, though it agitated some of his bruises that riddled his body. He coughed a little, his lip and nose bleeding, and he found it very hard to breathe.

Chloe moved to follow Apollo. She knelt down on the other side of Lute. "Anya should still be down there," she said softly. Demetri nodded and put his hand on Lute's shoulder, teleporting him to the medical wing. Chloe frowned and put a hand on Apollo's head, doing the same.
Jethrow snapped his fingers, teleporting the four demons to his office, before he turned to his niece and took her hand, inspecting her knuckles where she'd hit the demon. "Did you see your cousin's cheek?" he asked, impressed by how hard Yumi had hit Moore.

Yumi looked to her uncle and huffed. "I've always wanted to punch that jerk..." she said toughly, trying to seem all tough, even if she was in front of family.
Once in a bed, Lute relaxed a little, feeling a comfortable surface underneath his aching body. A few of the interns got him out of his jacket and shirt, revealing just how beaten up he was. There weren't a lot of bruises. Just one big one all around his midsection.
Apollo whimpered and laid on the floor next to the bed, worried for his master.

"Save some for Chloe," he told her before disappearing to go and punish the boys.
Chloe pet Apollo reassuringly, and Anya pushed the interns away, shaking her head at Lute's injury. She carefully hovered her hands over his stomach, healing the giant bruise little by little until it was gone. "You're free to go, but I want you resting for a while. Chloe, take care of him," Anya ordered before heading off to somewhere else. Chloe nodded and stood by the edge of Lute's bed. "I am so sorry..."

Lute coughed a little as Anya left him to rest in bed. He smiled weakly up at Chloe. "Don't apologize, Miss Chloe. It's not like you sent those thugs on me." he said before coughing again, it still a little difficult to breathe.

Lute smiled again and nestled into the soft bed, falling asleep very quickly.

Chloe sat in a chair by Lute's bed, and she patted her lap for Apollo to hop up so he could watch his master while he slept.

Apollo went over to Chloe and laid his head on her lap, whining softly as he glanced up at the sleeping Lute. He was worried for his master, hoping he would be alright.

Chloe pat Apollo's head a couple of times before she began to nod off, as well. She rested her elbow on the edge of Lute's bed and her chin in her hand, avoiding her scratched cheek, though it was almost healed by now.

After a while, Lute was waking back up, yawning a little. He was feeling a lot better, and his breathing was much easier. He sat up a little, feeling around some to gain his bearings.

Chloe was still asleep, her head in her hand. Anya had drawn the curtains around the bed, leaving the three in peace. As Lute shifted awake, Chloe mumbled something in her sleep.

Lute glanced over, hearing her mumble. He slowly slid his hand over across the sheets to her arm. He slowly felt up her arm to her head and gently stroked her hair softly. He savored the feeling of her satin hair under his fingers, wondering why she had stayed with him.

Chloe tilted her head at the feeling of Lute's hand make its journey, and she mumbled again, this time audibly: "No! The purple unicorn goes up the stairs..."]/color] [OOC:] I love their family and their sleeptalking...

Lute chuckled softly, petting her still. He found that rather cute. He stopped petting her, laying back down in his bed, smiling some.
