Well, since I've never owned a pet rock, it would be difficult to paint it. cat_whee
But as a summer camp councillor of the arts & crafts variety, I remember fixing kids' popcicle stick boxes securely with white craft glue, and then painting them with acrylic paint -- in pastel colors of pink, pale blue and soft green. Very pretty. And I mounted the tops with old jewelry, to make a handy handle to open the lids. I gave them back to the kids, so they could sell them at our craft sale, but saved one (the pink one that I had made as a demonstration) to give to my mom. heart How different is this from a pet rock?

I'm sure she did. She once took my older sister's glasses off of her face, and threw them out of the back window of a moving car. Luckily my older sis got her glasses back and my little sister received the wrath of Mom. cat_xd
