Hm, even if anime gets on TV, I can't stand the dub. :/
It really bothers me A LOT. I prefer original Japanese.. XD
Most animes I can catch on my TV though, unless I discover them too late, then I go for the online streams. xD

Really?
I'm okay with engl dub if it's decent.
Sometimes the Jap voices sound better, I have to admit.

But I can stand most of them. o;

I just don't like reading through Subs. xD Sometimes they
go a little too fast for me and backtracking is a pain.

I just prefer the Japanese voices over the English ones I guess. Plus, they seem to match better >_> (I guess that would be obvious since Jpn version is the original)

See, I don't have that problem. XD I don't need subs most of the time, but sometimes when they use the bigger words and stuff it's nice to look down for that word, but yes, don't need it much. I remember I watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood on my TV raw Japanese and was able to understand it all. :/

Benefits of knowing Japanese. XD

I can see what you mean on the subs and speed though XD and sometimes they are incorrect too.

Yeah, I can understand a limited number of languages.
xD Sadly, one is not Japanese.

I remember looking up Ouran on Youtube and, I think it was,
I was watching a fandub.

hoshit it was complete crap. D: The translation, per ce
was horrible. I watched the Jap dub prior to seeing the
"Engl" dub and I practically knew what it was. xD

Jap ver = somuchbetter. <3333333

Yup, they try, I got to give them credit for that and I suck at translating since I don't know which word would best fit in the context and such, but sometimes I feel I can do better than some of what the subs/dubs have done.
Eng dubs usually twist the meaning and turn it into complete English whereas subs does the direct translation of the Japanese, and I guess that is where I start preferring the subs.
Though I had a problem with this once. Don't remember what anime it was, it was so many years back, but the subs was incomplete, some parts was missing and really inaccurate. It got the point across, but it didn't bring out any of the meanings within the lines. :/
Sometimes dubbing it into English loses the original Japanese meaning too. And I don't like how they pronounce the names, for example in Inuyasha the way in the english dub he would say "Kah-go~h-may" and in Japanese it is short vowel "kah-goh-meh" Just a personal preference, I know people can't pronounce everything perfectly. XD

yay for the wall of text -.-''

That wall is nothing. talk2hand xD

I can't really say much in reply to that, as you really hit the nail.
xD

I did realize that name pronunciation was different~ o;
I grew up with the English dubbed animes, always thinking
they were only in English. xD So I grew used to the voices.
Like Naruto, ie ( don't love the show so much now, used to
be wild about it in elm ) the voices I grew so used to as well
as in Bleach and I was fond of them when I heard them in
other animes officially dubbed in English. D:

1337:
Haha yeah, I can get a bigger wall on a different subject. ^_^

Oh really? XD I haven't even touched the Eng dub for Bleach or Naruto. I guess I should go check those out. XD

Most anime I have watched dubbed would be the old-skool typz, such as Pokemon. I don't remember it in Japanese at all, though I do know that I DID watch it in Japanese. I started recognizing some of their voices in the dubbed version of One Piece too XDD

I do still have some of the Japanese Pokemon cards though >_<

I like the way you post. o .o It doesn't stretch a line across the whole speech bubble XD
