Yes it will. Wall paint is thick, and usually opaque. If not, use several layers.

Get some on your wall, eh?

I actually paint right on my wall.

Very cool animation, I think you grow very famous in the medium, just don't forget about us little guys when you're famous and junk.

And as far as the paint thing goes, I think that it should cover the acylics, but you may have to use an extra layer or so to cover it well. That and it also depends on the composition of the convential paint that you're using. But I'm just guessing here, so don't take my advice to seriously, we all know I'm a little stupid.

Well, since I have a new bed, my mom said I could paint a mural on my wall behind it...but in water colors.

Stacy hates water colors.

So I told her I want to do it in acrylic, and she says as long as it can be covered up. I told her a layer or two of normal wall paint would cover up any acrylics.

BEsides...it will be a nice mural...no need to paint over it when they sell the house.

WATER COLOURS???? Tell her that's worse than acrylics! They'll stain the wall, (at least, I'm fairly certian it will..) and there is now way you'd be able to wash the wall, it would be too fragile.

Acrylic is basically pigment mixed with liquid plastic. Once it dries on your wall, you'll be able to wash it without ruining the mural.

And yeah, enough layers of paint will definatly cover it.

I have a mural at home across one wall. It's running horses turning into waves. Kind of like Lord of the Rings, when you see the water horses in the river that Arwen spells.

Awesomeness.

I think I may do a night sky sort of thing to go with the rest of my room.

I've always wanted to do one of those egyptian women with the wings. You know they are like, kneeling, and their amrs are spread out to show off the wings?

A knight sky would be very pretty.

Isis or Ma'at. I love it when they show one of the two with wings. Either of those two have the wings, thier crowns just change. *Egypt obesseion babbling*

You know...I did a picture of Ma'at for my AP art concentration last year. It rocked.

Bitter cold here.

And I am... full of social history.

Did you know that all your preconceptions of history are wrong?

I don't even know what your preconceptions are and I can tell you that you are wrong.

Arrogent, or merely a side effect of the book I am reading for a test on teh 25... which 11 days from now. I have one week and four days to finish that god damened book.

Yup I still have it. If I can get ahold of a digital camera Ii'll snap a picture of it.

My whole AP art concentration was on Egypt...

Yes. I did know that actually.

As my David tells me, History books can be diffucult to read, because history can be changed by the bias of the writer. I'm not much of a history buff, but when I start talking about art history, David starts arguing with me (which is rather fun) even when he's never taken an art history course.

In the lat 70's early 80's, art was no longer a physicall manifestation. If you could understand the idea, you had no need toa ctually make something. Artists made millions doing nothing but selling their ideas. That was the modern era. We are not in the post modern era. Essentially, we are backtracking.

Okay, that's enougb out of me. I guess I'm just finger itchy.

Frac: awesome! I'd love to see it. And considering who yuor character was, i kind of figured. ^^

Egypt has a very interesting style of art.

I prefer it to the classical etruscan and greek art of the later half of the first melenium BC.

Art history is sometimes called Archeology.

It's even more interesting when you take it and twist it to realism.
