After getting her food from the trolley witch she thinks out loud,"ugh... i never have sat alone on the train before," she grabs her food sticks it in her messenger-bag and looks around she sees Riku in a compartment,"hey Riku do you mind if i eat with you, aww cute dog!."

DownAzzLette Tips head in a slight nod. It seems so James. As for the new students there is no telling. I guess we shall just have to wait and see. Hand the Gryffindor a small box of animal treats. Riku's eyes brighten up when she sees Amelia. "You can totally sit with me! I was getting kinda bored sitting here all by my lonesome." Riku's dog barks, "Okay, I wasn't completely alone." Riku's dog prances happily over to Amelia. "She seems to like you, probably because you complimented her cuteness!"

Myles finishes the turkey leg and performs a simple cleaning spell to get rid of the bone and clean his hands. He then considers the magic he just used and the slight unfairness of the disadvantage that Muggle-born first-year students have. Those born to wizarding families, even half-bloods have a bit of a head-start, having grown up with magic used around them. He tries to imagine not knowing anything about magic until the Hogwarts letter arrives, at least eleven years of mundane existence, an entire lifetime up until that point. He considers the training in nonmagical mechanical engineering given him by his late father, but doesn't think that it counts.
