:blinks: I'd rather think of it as creativity. That's how anything ends up working. And it gives you a boost. I say if you can do it, do it.

Kraun Are people really that pathetic to have to try and get around rules rather than just abide by them? That's just it. It's not that they are pathetic. It's human nature to want to work things to your advantage. There is not a single RPer or character who doesn't want that, or they wouldn't be in a tournament in the first place.

I stopped bothering with firearms. Character basis is this, now;

I never bother trying to go around the rules, I just blatantly disregard them fully knowing the consequences.

You know, I think gun really needs to be clearly defined.
If we just define it as a weapon that hurls a projectile then we might as well ban crossbows, bows, and any range magic. Say good bye to fireball.
If we define it as a weapon that hurls a projectile through a combustion of materials then you create a loop hole.

Yo, Bren =)
And concerning all that HoH gun chatter: I myself know I'm just in for fun, that is, for RPing/plot purposes. I know my chances to win are close to zero simply because I usually don't do RP fights at all, against another user, to be precise.

Nihilistic_Impact If we define it as a weapon that hurls a projectile through a combustion of materials then you create a loop hole. Then we both fit in the loophole for using gauss.

I'd have to agree with exclusion of fire arms. This is to be a fighting tournament. Now, to say no firearms in an rp contest like SoG of CwP... that just wouldn't make sense to me. Then again, I'm the guy who'd like his fights minus the magic and swords too, if it's too be an arena match, or at least with standardized equipment available to all.
@Kat- Please explain why Kalis' chaos powers kill him better than anything else, and including when he's not even using them. Then explain why I purposely attempt to make my characters a few notches to a disadvantage of the general character in my current RP'ing inviorment at nearly all times.

Heya Lu. Nihilistic_Impact You know, I think gun really needs to be clearly defined. If we just define it as a weapon that hurls a projectile then we might as well ban crossbows, bows, and any range magic. Say good bye to fireball. If we define it as a weapon that hurls a projectile through a combustion of materials then you create a loop hole. This is a very valid point. All those things would do more damage than non lethal firearms. Edit: And crossbows, bows, and some ranged magic would do just as much damage as a normal firearm.

I'm not trying to trash HoH or anything. I just think that the gun rulling needs to be looked at closer.
Fen, I was thinking more compressed air; but gauss works as well.

On the subject of weapons; melee and thrown weapons only.
Or if people want to be super specific, I'll just type in every sort of weapon that is banned. Make a giant list.

Guys, maybe you'd like Josh and Kraun to post ALL the arguments over this from last year, into here.
Because it all ends up being the same.
