* Bard appears, pacing slowly, back and forth. He's dressed in a tuxedo, with a wrapped parcel under his his arm. He looks up, noticeably relieved to be in the brink. He checks the library... no one... he checks the key holder. Certain that Maggie isn't around, he heaves a sigh. He sits down at a table and waits, fingers crossed*

I thought maybe you'd change your mind. And well, it took some doing to get this here.. but.. *he holds out the package to Maggie* I thought it best if I brought you a dress from my time... some of the places we're going are a bit particular about dress... I hope it fits....

Oh my . . . *pulls the dress out, quite amazed by the fabric and the stitching of it, holding it as though she were afraid to break it* 'Tis beautiful . . . *tentatively* Is it really all right for me te wear it?

*after a few minutes, she returns, now wearing the green dress and clasping her hands in front of her a bit self-consciously, and awaits his reaction*
