Lute soon found his room, thanks to one of the maids helping him, having gotten lost again. Once there, his room adjusted itself. The bed turned into a plush one as Lunora's had when she was injured by Demetri when Fester was in his head. There was a smaller one for Apollo as well. Though the room didn't gain any vibrant colors. He could not see so what was the point of having something he could not enjoy? Also his room had developed a special magic for him. As he slipped his shoes off, he felt subtle vibrations across the cool tiles. Each piece of furniture put off its own vibration, helping navigate his room.
Yumi yawned and nodded. She took her cousin's hand and got up, heading off to their rooms.

Chloe, as soon as she made it to her room, found she wasn't actually all that tired. She sat down on her bed and stretched her arms, but still wasn't tired. So, after grabbing a warm jacket and putting it on, she grabbed her violin and tiptoed down the stairs to the outside gardens. There was one in particular surrounded by a stone wall. The wall usually prevented people from hearing from inside the gardens, and she sat down on a little wooden bench, pulled out her violin and began to play.

Lute laid in his bed, sighing some. Sure it was comfy, but he just wasn't tired. He got up and carefully walked over to the window, feeling the glass. He soon found the latch and opened it, letting the cool night air in. But something else whispered in his ears. Music? This late? It was a violin. Maybe it was Chloe.

Chloe continued to play, varying from style to style and just playing through some of her favorite songs. After a while, she put her violin down beside her and stretched her arms, which were beginning to get tired from playing much of the day.

Lute listened to the song, smiling some, hearing the joy in her heart as it poured from the strings. He soon snapped out of the music's spell as she stopped, sighing some. "What a beautiful heart she had."

Chloe tilted her head back to look up at the dark sky and she smiled some, watching the stars twinkle. She looked back to her violin and picked it up again, playing random notes in an A minor scale. She improvised, occasionally glancing back up at the stars as she played. A wind rustled through the leaves of the tree above her, but she didn't pay attention to it. [OOC:] What shall our next big twist be, oh great Stars?

[OOC:] I was thinking Chloe gets upset after a boy she likes breaks up with her. Lute can sense her sadness and tries to comfort her.
Lute listened to the music, sighing contently. It was nice to hear such music, but it soon ended. Once it did, he headed to bed for some sleep. He was suddenly very relaxed. And very tired.

[OOC:] Hm... What if it was more than just a break up? What if he starts to get really possessive of her, so she tells him to take a hike. He slaps her maybe? But because Lute can't see it, she goes to him? I dunno... Seems more dramatic... It wasn't long before Chloe decided to go to bed. She snuck into the castle again and up to her room, pushing her door in and closing it again. She put away her violin, changed, then slipped into bed.

[OOC:] That'll work! But can you play him? I want to keep Lute the focus of my post.
The next morning Lute was outside once more, laying in the middle of the lawn, enjoying the warmth of the sun. Yet he headed back in for some food. As he walked, he got this feeling something bad was going to happen today.

[OOC:] Sure, no prob. Chloe had left her room early that morning. Unbeknownst to her family and friends, she'd been secretly dating a boy in the castle for a while. Almost a month, now. They would meet early in the morning in the practice rooms where nobody was most days, and sometimes late at night in the gardens. He'd been asking to finally be introduced to Chloe's family lately, and she was about to give in. She'd been reluctant. He was the son of a rather infamous demon, and most people at the school weren't comfortable around him for that reason, including her father. She opened up the room, and smiled to see him there. Without a word, she sat down beside him, and he jerked awake, looking around before realizing she was there.

Lute walked with his dog down to the dining hall. He ordered a plate of pasta, a bowl of strawberries, and some of those tarts he'd been hearing about. Seemed they brought on a marriage, bur he just wanted to try them. But he headed out of the hall, it much too noisy to enjoy his food.
So he headed out, letting Apollo go where he pleased. Which was in turn a music room. He sat down on a couch and set the food on the small table in front of him, digging into his pasta.

Chloe was surprised when the boy turned out to have breakfast with him. She beamed at him and began to eat with him, them talking randomly. "So... I saw you sitting with that new kid last night," he said to her, and she looked up, tilting her head. "Lute? Yeah, he's ni--" "Lute? That's the punk's name?" he asked. She frowned, crossing her arms. "And what's wrong with that?" she asked. The demon glared at her, then shook his head. "Oh, nothing, nothing. It's just fine if you like idiots named after musical instruments." "Is this a problem about music, then?" Chloe asked, glaring angrily at the demon. After all, she had a bit of diluted demon blood in herself. "Oh yeah, don't you love instruments? Well why don't you just go away? Go find this stupid little Lute, hm?" Chloe felt as though she was going to cry. She'd just talked to Lute! Why was he getting so mad? So, she stood and turned to leave. However, the demon grabbed her wrist. Hard. "I'm not done talking to you!" "Don't bother coming to find me until you're calm again," she snapped as he turned her to face him. His hand came across her cheek so fast she didn't see it, just felt the stinging pain in her face before he pushed past her and stomped out of that wing of the castle. Chloe was still frozen, her hand covering her now bright red cheek. Tears were beading up in her eyes and she turned towards her violin, sitting forgotten in a corner. She knelt beside it, putting it on her shoulder and beginning to play sadly. However, soon she found she couldn't play anymore. She put the instrument on her lap and stared down at it sadly.

Lute had finished his meal, carrying the tarts back with him. He wanted to save them for later. They smelled really good. But something was wrong. He could hear and feel heavy, angry footsteps. He quickly ducked behind a corner, waiting for them to pass by. Once they were gone, he came back from around the corner, sighing some. "Wonder what that was about." he mumbled and continued walking.
He soon stopped, hearing something. It was a violin, sad and in pain. He moved to the room, finding the door cracked open. The music had stopped, but it was such pain he could not ignore. He felt for the door and knocked. "Miss Chloe? Is that you? Is everything alright?"

Chloe heard the door creak open a little more, and she looked up to see none other than Lute himself. "H-hi," she responded, wiping her eyes a little though the tears kept coming. "Yeah, it's me. And I'm fine," she said, putting her violin to the side and looking away from it.

Lute came in, hearing her voice. It lied to him. "You don't sound fine. Neither did your music. What has hurt you so?" he asked, handing off the plate of food to Apollo, though the dog taking it right to the sorrowful girl.
