No. She gets exactly what she wants in the end. It's really very romantic. Believe me Holly, I'm a sucker for romance and I loved the ending. It's my kind of happily ever after...so to speak.

Good good. I HATED the end of that book. Which was a shame because it was a birthday gift from my brother.

rolleyes I beg to differ.
But we could argue about that all day. I personally, prefer romantic, as forbbiden tends to get annoying after a while. Like Uther, or The White Dragon.

My two cents....forbidden is the adrenaline rush that equals the one night stand that leads to you waking up and experiencing coyote ugly.

and my retort is those romance novels you so love, two third of the 'happy endings' are starry puts them start out as a forbidden or outcast love. it's the age old attraction of being told you not supposed to do that, that makes you want to do it all the more. and it makes the doing it, the engaging in that sex or love, all teh sweeter becuase of the adrenaline rush yiu always get knowing your not supposed to and that you can get caught and you never know what's next or even when they'll see eachother.
