"Did I get them all?" Ginji asks and put down his red pen and relaxed. "I may not be here from long... I'm meeting some people... What are we doing? And how long will it take? Maybe later tonight?"

Maybe later tonight?" Ike: Well, it's about Team Galactic... It seems that our encounter with that Giant Green Cloud was like hitting a bee hive with a stick for them. From what i've heard, they've been worring the people of Veilstone City with some weird activity. *Trys to make a long story short* I think we should check it out.

Ginji of Thunder c1lyfe MISSION- Night Raid on Devon Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Devon Corporation and steal 50 PokeNAVs. But you must not be seen be anyone. Beware there are 10 guards in the building. You must enter the building. Then make your way to level 3 were the PokeNAVs are. But get them quickly and return back. All the PokeNAVs are in one box. Pokemon you may run into on the mission (you may only run into one): Zigzagoon Voltorb Duskull Funds upon completion: 1000 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pass. This is much better then the original. Not quite perfect, but I'll let it slide seeing as it is a level one mission. You get the Zigzagoon and the 1000 PD. The story was cool also. Thanks. I'm glad you liked it.

Pump: Decided to do another mission. Hope you guys like it! = )
MISSION- Shiny researchers There's a new lab that can make your pokemon shiny! So go try it out!! You'll just have to battle the scientist who will give you a hard time!
Items: Pick any of your pokemon to make shiny
Money: 300-1000 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“RING!” my alarm clock goes. I sluggishly lift up my head to take a peek at what time it is. 9:00, dead on. I sink my head back into the pillow. “Ugh!!” I managed to let out in a groan. I was up late last night, hanging out with my friends. It was a party, though a mild one. The only drinking going on was the consumption of Coke. I got a little wild and had too much to drink. The caffeine from the Coke kept me up half the night! Next time, I’ll spring for the Sprite. Anyway, I try to get a few more winks, when I am suddenly not alone. My Mudkip, Pump, and my newly caught Torchic jump up on the bed and attempt to rouse me fully awake. “Get up! Get up! Get up! Time’s a wasting!” Pump spoke frantically to me. “Torchic!” Torchic announced, almost expectedly. Pump has the ability to speak somehow. I think it was an accident from a past mission or something, I don’t know what happened. I push off both Pump and Torchic and get up. It’ll take me a while to fully come to my senses.
I sit down at the kitchen table with yet another meal of Honey Bunches of Oats, my favorite cereal. I prefer the one with almonds, as the other ones are just horrible. Trust me, they are just horrendous. I sit there chewing and savoring the tastiness of the cereal, when I remember that I do have another mission. “Egad!” I shout with exclamation. I had almost forgotten about my other mission, so me remembering the mission this early in the morning is nothing short of a miracle.
The mission really isn’t a mission of its own. It’s more of a personal desire than anything else. Downtown, they have a lab that just had a break through event. They discovered a way to make a pokemon shiny! How exciting! I can’t wait to go down there and turn one of my poke’s shiny; just imagine the jealous, envious gazes of my friends when I stroll down the street with a real shiny pokemon! ‘Tis a sight to be seen. I finish up my breakfast, and go get myself ready. I’m sure that they’ll let a few people turn their pokemon shiny. But there was one last decision to make. Who was I going to turn shiny? I quickly looked up one of many pokemon guides (I checked Serebii’s Pokedex; it’s very reliable, trust me) and checked to see what each one of my pokemon looked when shiny. I first checked Pump (don’t tell the others, but he is my favorite), and to be quite honest, the shiny version of the Mudkip evolution line looks disgusting. I wouldn’t be excited to have a shiny Mudkip. In fact, I would probably cry myself to sleep every night if I was bestowed upon one. That’s a little dramatic, but that’s how ugly the sight of one is. So I checked what a shiny Torchic would look like. I glance at the picture of one. Not too shabby; the main color is a tannish brown that covers the entire body. I actually like that. Not caring about what my other Pokemon look like shiny, I decide to take Torchic and make him shiny. I also take Pump because it’s a good experience for him. That’s what my dad told me whenever he took me places. I guess I’m just carrying on tradition.
I put both Pump and Mudkip into their Pokeballs before going out. I plan to take public transportation, as it reduces my carbon footprint and lowers my gas bill that’s outrageously large if I decide to drive myself. The downside to riding the bus is that they don’t allow Pokemon to roam around. A minor inconvenience, but I can see where the officials are coming from. I, myself, wouldn’t care to have other people’s pokemon running around and causing mayhem.
I head outside and stroll towards the nearest bus stop. It’s a nice, if quaint, bus stop. It has a canopy to protect against the elements, which is nice. I sunburn quite easily; under the canopy I enjoy the cool, UV free shade. I wait around 15 minutes for the city bus to arrive. It comes around with surprisingly little people on. I walk up into the bus (I feel the dry, cold air of the A/C) and pick a seat close to the front. It’s approximately 30 minutes travel to the lab, which is down town. If you ask me of my honest opinion, it’s a horrible location. I prefer my labs in the suburbs.
We finally arrive at the lab. Took us 45 minutes to get here, an unheard of time! There was just so much traffic on the roads today. It looked as if there was an accident or something. But, at least I arrived. I take a glance at the lab. Its sandwiched between 2 other buildings, typical of a building in the down town section of a city. It’s a small lab; I’m surprised that any amount of good research happened within the walls of the building. But what am I to judge? I just want to get my Torchic to become shiny. As such, I casually walk into the lab.
The front desk redirects me to the back of the building, where the machine that turns a Pokemon shiny is located. I head in that direction. It’s not a long walk. Buildings in the downtown section of a city aren’t usually large. I walk all the way to the back of said building and open up the door that stands between the machine and I. I gently open the door and stare into the room. There, in all of its glory, is the wonderful machine that will turn my Torchic shiny. Actually, it looked like it was assembled in a garage. Luckily, I trust science. I firmly believe that this machine will turn my Torchic into an enviable Pokemon.
I step into the room just in time to hear someone yell at me. “Who’s there?” an annoyed sounding scientist near the machine tells me. “Um… Just a person who wants one of his Pokemon turned shiny?” I respond, trying to act as kind as possible. “Well, why would you want that?” “Because shiny Pokemon are inevitably more pleasing to look at?” “Well, who said you could have a Pokemon turn shiny?” he sounded even more annoyed. He turned around to look at me with an almost menacing glare. “The front desk said that I could have one Poke become shiny. They said it would be no problem.” “Well, I’m not the front desk am I?” “But they are in charge of you.” Apparently, this comment set him off. “That’s it kid. I’m tired of you smart mouth comments. How about this: we battle. If you win, you can get your shiny Pokemon. If I win, you leave and never come back. Is that fine?” Smirking, I respond, “sure, sounds great to me.” Man, this scientist won’t know what hit him.
Scientist: “Magnemite go!” Hhmmm, a Magnemite? He’s, er um, its part Steel! I know the perfect counter! “Torchic go!” Torchic: “Tor!” “Alright Torchic, we’ve got this. Torchic, use Flamethrower!” “Torchic!” The jet of flames hit Magnemite very hard, knocking it into a wall. “It looks greatly damaged Torchic!” “Tor!” Scientist: “Ugh! Magnemite, use Thundershock!” “*odd metallic noises*” The Magnemite lets loose a weak electrical shock that hits Torchic. Torchic appears to just have a few scrapes after that. “Torchic, lets finish this! Use Ember!” Torchic throws a few embers onto the weakened Magnemite, KOing it. “Good job Torchic!” “Tor!” However, the scientist still appears to be smirking. “It’s not over yet.”
“Go Voltorb!” The scientist calls out his Voltorb. The Voltorb is shiny, and he comes out with an unusual amount of shininess. “We got this Torchic!” “We’ll see about this,” the scientist replied smugly. “Voltorb, use Spark!” The Voltorb speeds toward Torchic with insane quickness, appearing as a blur. He (it) began to spark up as it headed towards Torchic. *SMACK!* Voltorb hit Torchic hard, though Torchic is still in it. He looks as if he will collapse at any moment. “Torchic, use Flamethrower!” “Tor!” Torchic responded with agony. Torchic let loose another jet of flames, but this time, it missed Voltorb. “Lol, wut? It’s a 100% accuracy move!” I yelled at the scientist. “Yes, but my Voltorb has bright powder.” “I thought that they banned bright powder.” “Only in standard play. This is Not Fully Evolved, however, not standard.” “Crap…” “Voltorb, use Sonic Boom.” Voltorb let loose a sonic boom, hitting Torchic and KOing him. I call back Torchic. Well, this is it. “Go, Pump!” “I am here!” “Hah, do you think you can beat me with a water type?” the scientist laughed at me. “Shut up!” Pump told the scientist. “You haven’t seen me battle before!”
This was it. I had to trust Pump. Voltorb let loose another Spark, hitting Pump hard, but he was still in it. “We have to do something about those Sparks, Pump.” Yah, I know.” “Here, use Sand-Attack!” “But we’re in a laboratory! There is no sand!” “I’ve seen it in the games, don’t worry. There’s some sand somewhere.” “Whatever.” Pump kicks in the direction of Voltorb, and to his amazement, some sand is flung towards the Voltorb, hitting it straight into the eyes. “Voltorb, shake it off! Now use Spark to finish it off.” I became scared. I seriously thought that Voltorb could finish off Pump. But to my amazement, Voltorb missed. “YES!! That’s the missing hax I was hoping for. Now Pump, use Hydro Pump!” “Sure thing boss.” Pump lets off a huge jet of water, hitting Voltorb, much to everyone’s amazement, and hitting him extremely hard. “One more hit and he will be KO’d Pump!” “Voltorb, hurry; use another Spark!” Voltorb goes in for the kill and once again misses. “Okay Pump, finish it with a Water Gun!” Pump lets off another jet of water, hitting Voltorb again. It is finished off.
“Sweet!” I shout with joy. “We did it!” “Alright kid, you get your shiny,” the scientist replies gloomily. I give him the Pokeball with Torchic in it, and he heals him, and puts him into the shiny machine (hah, double meaning). A moment later he takes out the Pokeball and releases Torchic. Torchic is his usual self, except that he is shiny. “Sweet. Thank you,” I tell the scientist. “Okay, now leave; I have to get back to work!” That scientist is unusually bitter. Oh well. I take my new shiny Pokemon, and Pump, and head back home. I’d say that this mission was a success.
