Not expensive if you use store discounts to your advantage and also have a giftcard.
Lets see, got eleven pieces of good canvas all in a few different sizes, some watercolor paper, some multi-dry media paper, replaced some of my acrylics.
All in all it was a god haul. And they had the canvas I like...it may not be mainstream brand but it's the easiest canvas I've worked with yet.

*huggles canvas* Indeed.
I was using Fredrick brand....but it pissed me off with the amount of paint I had to use...then my brother got me this store specific brand...and I fell in love with it.

Wish I had those kinds of resorces. O basically have to use what's available. The enarest high quality art store is in Freedricton, a good two hours form here. And it's expensive.

In other words you have to use the frustrating paint consuming canvas eh? That sucks...my good art store is about twenty minutes away....and clean. A clean store is important.
Though I wouldn't call it high quality. Just...non irritating and preventable of said artist going on homicidal rage.

Yes. I hate that paint eating canvas. Although canvas board isn't all that bad.
I might be a littl bit in responding. I'm working on my website.

Eh, don't worry about it. I don't know how long I'll be on tonight. My wrist is swollen and I'm painting/sketching.

I know...I should just get away from the computer for the night or a day, whatever.
At least it's not my right hand. That's my art arm.

You know how people ask if you would rather have your legs or your arms chopped off? I always pick the legs, hands down. ^^

I've never been asked that....but yet I'd pick legs too.
*shrugs* I may get surgery for my arm in the summer. All depends.

Well it's technically genetic, due to me being so short. My mom had the same problem with the same nerve in the same arm, she eventually had to get surgery because her finger went numb from the pressure.
Damn being so compact.

Awe, short is cute!
But I surgery isn't that bad of of an option if it gets rid of so much pain.
