Good morning! Everyone who's an Illinois citizen and over the age of 18, please go out and vote today.
I'm not going to suggest any candidates for whom I think you "should" vote, or any measures I think you "should" vote to enact or prevent. I just think that you should take part in your society's decision-making process. Stand up and be counted: at least a few of your ancestors probably died trying to earn the right to vote, and the least you can do is honor them by exercising that right. "A right not exercised is soon lost." VOTE.
If you don't vote, and they elect an @$$hole, it is your own fault and you don't get to kvetch about it.
