Monster High - The School Grounds

Essi turns to see some sort of were wolf boo staring at her. Or was he a ferret? She didn't remember studying this breed on monster. Maybe her first guess was correct seeing he was displaying mannerisms of a were pup? And why was he shirtless? Perhaps he could control his body temperature as well...these questions just made her curious with no real logical conclusion unless asking the boy directly..which she was told was rude.
"Directions? Have you already gone to Mr. Death's office?" Then she saw he had a schedule. "Oh, my mistake!" "Well I'm new too so I don't know my way around much besides the Catacombs but you can have this map." She handed him the map. She could just say she knew since it was all memorized but this day hadn't been well with her attempts to converse with her school mates.

"Now, data transfer from automated creature to meat creature is a little harder than from automated creature to automated creature." Atomica calmly hexplained to Necrolin as she snapped the helmet onto the merghoul's head. "I mean, usually you meat creatures have to be verbally TOLD things, over and over again until your soft squishy head-tissues retain the information. It's SOOOOO inefficient compared to p2p datalink uploads, am I right?"

Atomica grabbed the second helmet and strapped it on her head. These were not SKRM helmets, of course....this was Mad Science class! How illogical would THAT be?

No, to properly teach Nekki everything she knew about SKRM, Atomica had to rely on one of the most core concepts of Mad Science - electricity! There was a large piece of equipment set up in the back of the Mad Science lab. It didn't get much use in these modern times, but the equipment was a large set-up covered in giant tubes and wires. It had a big rocker switch in the middle. On either side of the middle monolith were two chairs. Suspended above those chairs by multiple colored wires were the information-exchange helmets.

"So like, in the olden days, monsters tried to swap brains between bodies using equipment like this - as IF that was practical! What sane monster would want to be stuck in some other monster's body? And it never worked really well anyways. BUT it's an easy way to transfer information between two bodies if you do the calculations right, and who has two thumbs and is the perfect unliving embodiment of a calculator? That's right. THIS GHOUL." Atomica pointed both her thumbs at herself.

"All I have to do is throw this switch, and boom! You're as much of an SKRM hexpert as I am. Which you'll need for tomorrow night. And then, once class starts, you can help me do the SKRM physics demo."

Atomica smiled at Nekki. Neither Lin nor Gryff really liked Skulltimate Roller Maze as much as she did, and even though Cassie was on the team, her fangxiety often kept her from being as aggressive a player as Atomica wanted to be. She honestly hoped that Necrolin was going to love the sport as much as she did.

Atomica's hand curled around the rocker switch as the massive data-transfer machine hummed to live and started to show little staticy lightning bolts above the helmets.

"Ready?!"

Akito smiles. Another new monster makes it slightly easier for him... And convenient. His curious tail flicks again. "You ARE new? Awesome!" He compliments, "Oh, by the way my name is Akito... Akito Fox. I'm a kitsune, if you didn't know. A fox demon." He squints his eyes and makes a curvy grin, imitating the look of a cunning fox. "I have powers over dreams and visions."

He returns to business. Akito felt it rude to get too in-depth about himself. Going on any longer would have made it look like he was bragging about himself, which isn't... Very attractive. Akito looks back at his schedule. "hey, newbies should stick together, right?" He returns his stare to the lunar lady, "Lets compare schedules, maybe we have some classes together."

Damon groaned softly he was SO hungry... Maybe a small bite wouldn't hurt. He stood he was biting his hand so that the top of his mouth rested where his index met with his thumb. His lower teeth biting his palm. He watched his mentors movements carefully until her back was completely towards him. He reached over for Lin's project only to get a ruler hitting his hand
Mrs. Kindergrubber looked at the gluttony demon. "No eating the students finals!"

Damon whimpered as he went over to see Kai "hey I got a quick question, regarding who stole my lurch I was wondering if you know who. Because I have like 17 boxes for lunch and there was only 16 and-"
"Damon! You're here to observe not chat with students! "

'Somemonster did not know how to receive a hint' thought Essi..
Her horns dropped along with her tail. She could just feel the ego coming from this...kitsune? Was he a foreigner perhaps? Like from Shibooya? Actually this wasn't why she was feeling drained. The Trouble Tribe vs that Harry was to blame.
"Err...dreams and visions...sounds unique?" She replied weakly. Creepateria was clearly closed...oh! Astral pouch! "Pardon...me.." She took out some cookies from her pouch and ate them. Completely forgetting what Layla had said earlier.
"Umm, all right?" Essi gave him her schedule to read and went over it. Of course the probability of them sharing a class was a 999-1 ratio...

Melody walked down the halls with her head in the clouds rather than deep in the sea, thinking about everything that happened just in that day alone.

First she came back just in the nick of time to finish her exams, then after everybloody noticed she was back she was given warm welcomes despite the school year was coming to a close. Then after constant trying to do well on her hexams despite her horrible hexchange trip, she went to lurch only to have Shad De Gloom land in her arms and ask her to the Howliday Ball that was coming shortly.

There was so much on her mind it was as if all her thoughts were swimming in a 5K race and she was struggling to catch up.

She was brought back down to Earth seeing her beastie trying to fix her lipstick in the school's trophy case glass, "I think you have a little lipstick on your fang."

Demona gasped softly opening her mouth wide to fix these claims but there was no such lipstick

Akito sniffed an air of discomfort from Estrella. He frowns. "Oh, me! I had forgotten to ask your name?" He tries to regain likability from her but it seemed that it was to no avail... Maybe he did go to far in introducing himself... Bats. This ghoul was difficult... Akito sighs.

He looks at his schedule and then hers. "... We have Haunting Music together... One other." He perks up. "Well, I look forward to having you as a Clawss mate!" His ears droop as he returns to his frown and walks away. Feeling her awkwardness, he wasn't going to dig too much into her. A challenge for another day, he thinks... For now, all he needs is friends an connections. He hoped he could have that ghoul Estrella as one of them. Too bad.

"I finished my biteology hexam early," she sighed looking down at her books before starting her next thought, "Dee, may I tell you something? And you promise not to tell anybloody?"

"please don't tell me it's that you still have a crush on Damon because we discussed this he's a college manster, he's too old for you" She chuckled "that was a joke, what's the matter baby ghoul"

"Well...I'm a little unsure about going to the Howliday ball with Shad.." she pushed her glasses closer to her nose, "because..well...I kinda didn't enjoy my hexchange trip because.." she cleared her throat, "I kinda was broken up with over my trip."

"Talk less, smile more. You worry too much, it's just one night with Shad if stuff doesn't work out then don't see him again problem solved" She passed by the home ick classroom "Damon is really struggling

"Well I don't want it to end like that. It's the first dance I've attended without Roswell as my date and so it's just a little..odd. And if it doesn't work out I don't want to avoid him for the rest of the scaremester! He seems like a nice boo and everything, very handsome, but I just...I'm not sure."

She glanced into Ms. Kindergrubers room, "It seems like he is indeed. Do you think he'll make it through the class?"

She smirked seeing some students making it a game of trying to tempt the manster "twenty bucks says that he breaks" She said taking a folded up bill out of her bra

"Maybe you're right..." she bit the inside of her cheek, "maybe you're right..." she tapped her books.

Maybe Demona was right, Melody had spent all of her time swimming in the memories of Roswell that she could possibly miss out on an all new opportunity with a boo that would actually have time for her and well...wouldn't compare her to their favorite dessert. Maybe Demona actually had a point to stop overthinking and enjoy her time with Shad. And it had been a bit since the split, and she had wallowed in her pity puddle long enough by herself. Still, it was going to be a challenge to enjoy herself.

"I'm not sure I should take that bet, I'd lose without a doubt."
