"The test is one question," she smiled. "You'll either have to demonstrate something to me or answer a question," she smiled. "As for the maid, I give you permission to promote her to maiko," Tora said.
((OOC: ^_^ No prob. and, about the maid... aw! Its foxxy! Heehee, yeah, you can promote her on my behalf, and when you become a geisha, you can accept her application in the hall of ceremonies and become her onee-chan if you wish. ^_^))

Tora smiled. "Alright, for example, a question could ask: demonstrate the proper bow," she informed with a smile. "Go ahead and practice," she added.

Ariku sat down to her knees. She placed her fingers toger and just tapped the floor with them. She then pressed her shoulders down while slowly drooping her head and body down. She stopped as her elbows reached the level of the top of her thighs. She slowly came up and placed her hands in her lap.
"How was that?" she asked sure that there would be correction to her action.

Tora giggled. "Good 'ole Ariku-chan," she thought. "Ariku-chan, that was a perfect bow," she smiled, "and that was your test!" Tora's eyes sparkled. "You did it!" she giggled again. "As soon as you get those recommendations, you will be a geisha!"

Ariku's eyes went big. And a big smile crossed her face, "Oh my gosh.... Onee-chan you are so mean." she said jokingly.
"I will talk to Iyasu-san. Oh, and, are you going to talk to Serena-san, or how do I talk to her?" she asked curiously.

Akasha_Hamasaki Ariku's eyes went big. And a big smile crossed her face, "Oh my gosh.... Onee-chan you are so mean." she said jokingly. "I will talk to Iyasu-san. Oh, and, are you going to talk to Serena-san, or how do I talk to her?" she asked curiously. Tora giggled. "I knew you could do it!" she laughed. Tora gave her a hug. "Yes, I'll ask Serena-chan to recommend you," she said with a large smile. "I am so proud of you! You will make a fine Geisha," Tora exclaimed.

"No problem at all," she smiled. Tora's memory flashed back to when she thought having an onee-sama from a different okiya might be impossible- and look at her now, she was the onee-sama and was about to promote her sister to geishahood.

Ariku gave her another hug.
"I should probably get going though. Thank you again. I will see you at the teahouse." she said and bowed as she went down to the door. She put her shoes on.
"Good bye." she said and left.

Tora hugged her and bid goodbye. "See you later," she called out. Once Ariku was gone, Tora smiled and flung herself on the bed. She blushed as she thought about Hirose. Tora squeeled with girlish delight and quickly got out her black sketch diary and began to write a letter to her mother.

Rose sits in an empty tea room, sipping some rather dull tea, she made it herself. She picks up the glass, putting it against her pink lips. Her fingers were a little shaky, face still slightly pale. She sets the cup down pausing as the hot liquid goes down her burning throat.

Tora was on cloud nine thinking about Hirose. She carried her black sketch book to the okiya's entertaining room to have better light. "Odd," Tora whispered seeing the light on. She knelt beside the door and slid it open. There, sitting at the table, was the last person she thought she'd ever see...
"Rose!" Tora gasped.

She turns her head to look at the familliar woman. Her eyes widened, hair in a low ponytail, strands curving her to jawline. "Tora!" forgetting all geisha ettique (sp?) and running into tora, hugging her tightly burning her face into her chest, like a daughter to her mother. "I missed you so much!!!" She cries.
