Lucario: *Relaxes and starts to walk back to the cliff as if Gold would have not been a challenge* Your luck I do not so freely fight off a whim.
Ike: *Comes rushing to the scene and barely stops in time to avoid crashing into Lucario. He tries to catch his breath as he speaks* Oh... Gold... *Gives Lucario a quick pat on the shoulder* Told ya so.
Lucario: *slowly moves and stands beside Ike, looking at Gold with a serious stare.*
Ike: *Faces Gold* Sorry about that. *Looks up* That green cloud has all of us on edge.

Ike: *Rubs his nose* No reason... Just checking out the area. It all seems very different being dead and all. *Changes the subject* How long have you been with Aqua?

Ike: *Kicks the dirt to help him think* I joined... right after the mutany, I'd say. So I think about 4 years?

Ike: *Gave a friendly smirk* Well, I've experienced my fair share I guess. *Clears his throat* So I guess tomorrow will be the day we blow that thing up.
Lucario: *Walks away from the conversation and heads back to the cliff*
Ike: >.>

Ike: Nah, I'm fine. Nothin like rough'n it. See ya tomorrow then. *Fallows Lucario back to the cliff*

*As the next morning came, Ike awoke to a stiff back. He was quite capable of jumping out of suprise though when he awoke face to face with Lugia, who had must of came out of his ball sometime during the night to sleep outside with Lucario and himself. He rolled around only to find Quilava on the other side. Ike just stood up after that and took a big stretch.*
Ike: *Notices that Quilava woke up* Why'd you come out of your ball?
Quilava: *Sounding sleepy, but noble* I figured if you were gonna rough it, I should to.
Ike: *Notices that everyone else had woke up to, and turns to Lugia* Why are you out?
Lugia: *Simply points his head at Quilava, giving the same reason*
Ike: *Turns to Swampert* Well then... why are you out?
Swampert: *Sits up straight and twaddles his fingers* I was alone being in my ball...
Quilava: Swamp, we're always alone in our pokeballs.
Ike: *Looks at Quilava with a "Ya, thats true" look, then looks back at Swampert*
Swampert: Well... Everyone was outside...i was.... Whatever Quil said, that's why i'm out here.
Ike:*Stiffins his lip and nods in approval* Alright then. Thats cool of you guys.

*Ikarizu took a look around the area and peered at the scenery of rolling hills across the morning horizon. There wasn't any dew on the dead grass, and the normal pink and blue hues in the morning summer sky had been tainted by the green cloud over head.*

Ike: Today's the day.

Ike: Im gonna go check up on the others, ok guys?
*All of them either nod or go back to what they were doing as Ike walked past them and entered the forest, heading back to the meeting spot*

*If it were anymore possible, the foliage seemed even more dead. Such a scene was too depressing for Ike, so he decided he'd rather not look upon it all and look straight ahead*
