Chibi Halo So I have this insanely fun idea for how I want to work up the Xmas event thread for the guild but I can't do it if I can't find a stock illustration of an alpine chalet or a little thatched roof cabin. I've been looking at vintage travel posters for ski destinations and wanted to recreate that look for the event thread. And if I can't do the Nordic mountain theme then I hope I can find some kind of vintage travel poster styled illustration of wintery pine tree.
That would look really nice, good luck with the stock hunt

That would look really nice, good luck with the stock hunt The one place I used to be able to download small sample sizes of their photos and illustrations without having to pay for anything started putting watermarks all over their sample images. Now I don't know where I'll be able to find what I'm looking for but I won't give up the search for it.
My whole idea is a vintage Thirties to Fifties Xmas carnival in Barton Town sponsored by the BFAA. There will be caroling (the annual shop caroling event), free caricatures (freebie avatar art that I hope one or two people have time for), an Xmas Carnival Queen Pageant (a winter queen themed TekTek contest), and a one man charity winter fashion show put on by Bartob (a winter/Xmas themed dress Bartob contest). Plus, for the whole world immersion aspect of things I have sledding in the Barton Trench, skating on Bass'ken Lake, bonfires, cocoa stands, sleigh rides, and the lighting of the town Xmas tree (the one we used to have in zOMG during the Xmas event). Should be a lot of fun and something that if it works out we can do each year.

All the "issues" people have with the way things are being done on Gaia are petty and meaningless when you have a family member fighting for the chance to experience life. A typical pregnancy lasts forty weeks. My cousin's daughter-in-law had no choice but to deliver twenty-five and a half weeks in. She never made it to her third trimester and their little boy is barely two pounds and fourteen inches. He's so small that he had to be moved to a specialized NICU in Missouri at a hospital separate of his mother and will not be able to spend Christmas with his family. His entire life is going to be one of developmental catching up because he's barely viable.
The gold economy is inflated way too much and you don't like it or Flynn people of the SF? Well bull, because there are more important problems out there.

^ November's decent items are cheap enough to buy
on the hunt for more bargin items hoping to die down in price
otherwise those super rare items like the Forest Fawns....well....I'll never get that stare rofl

Welp, moron brother's gone. His dad came back... good riddance. Some of Pookie's stolen items came back, too. (Mainly his Wii's power cord and Wiimote. His bro claimed that "he was going to return it". NO YOU WEREN'T, JACKASS. But that problem was buried rather quickly, so that's all I know about it.)
In the meantime, gotta get something to eat before I do some heavy work. Which means... I have to clean the fridge... I'm going to do my most hated house chore today! *weakly* Yay.
Could be worse, I guess.

My mom's in the hospital again. Her cardiologist wanted to order a panel of tests and that requires her to stay at least one night in the hospital. So my dad had to come home at least a week before he was for the upcoming holiday. Hopefully it's not going to be any worse than the A Fib they're thinking it is. She had a similar situation happen after her surgery last December. She kept saying last night that if needed they could send a mild shock to her heart to get the heart rate back to where it should be. At least this time she's where her cardiologist can check in on her.

I hope your mom winds up being okay Chibi. She'll be fine. If anything she'll be there until Monday before she comes home. They just want to be careful because she's gone fourteen years since she had her valve replaced with an artificial one.

Ah I just finished watching DBZ Battle of the Gods, very good movie the best parts for me were when Bill's hit Bulma and Vegeta screamed my Bulma and raged emotion_bigheart bigheart: emotion_bigheart emotion_bigheart emotion_kirakira emotion_kirakira emotion_kirakira and the very end so cute even the tips of Vegeta's ears were red emotion_kirakira emotion_kirakira emotion_bigheart emotion_bigheart and Bulma smackin Goku for being dumb. and even better I think this invalidates the travesty that was GT ick.

Had a bit of a freaky get your a** in the basement afternoon over at my Aunt and Uncle's house around the corner from where I live today. Tornado touched down in Washington, IL earlier and a friend of mine said she and her sister each found things in their yards in both Shorewood, IL and here in Joliet, IL from people in Washington that live a few blocks apart from each other. Pretty eerie when you think about it.

Tornado touched down in Washington, IL earlier and a friend of mine said she and her sister each found things in their yards in both Shorewood, IL and here in Joliet, IL from people in Washington that live a few blocks apart from each other. Pretty eerie when you think about it.
Oh, this must be tied into the storms in my area as well. Over here, we're currently in a thunderstorm with heavy rain and some strong winds. Not pretty weather for the middle of November.
