Jayden feels Silver's sadness. "Mommy???" she calls out in a childlike voice.

Lilith stood up with Surf in her arms and walked towards the kitchen. "Would it make you happy???" she asks in a soft voice.
Jayden feels Silver's heart break as if it was a dagger in her chest. She leaps from Talon's arm and darts to Silver's side. "Mommy!!!" she yelps in panic.

Lilith sits Surf in a chair and walks to the fridge. "I'll feed from a bottle," she says as she walks over and sits next to surf with a bottle of blood in hand.
Jayden snuggles against Silver. "But what if they hurt him???" she asks.

Jayden send a calming wave to Silver. "everything will work out how it is supposed to," she says in a low voice.
