He set the cat loose before chasing after it, zooming past the gates and travelers before following it in a tree and sitting there with it. He stuck his tongue out at Konoha before snuggling the cat and taking a nap with it, he'd take it to the office and get cleaned up later.[4/4] ❈ If you can't, well it's not really you I'm singing to. ❈

Kazuhiko and Kaito quickly escaped from the mess Kaito had created with the destruction of the wall. Their plan was to pick up a mission now, and report back to the Hokage to pick up some Ryo. Sadly, the only mission to them available at the time was one for hunting down a ninja... kitty. Kaito held the paper in his right hand, examining the picture until he knew exactly what the cat looked like. "So..." He looked to his strange, awkwardish new friend not exactly sure of what to say. "Where should we start looking for this cat? Any ideas?" The genin scratched his head. To be completely honest, he hated animals, and old people for that matter. So looking for an old persons cat just seemed like it wasn't worth it at all. But if this would help promote him to Chuunin, he would bite the bullet and do what he had to do.

"You guys looking for this cat?" He jumped down, holding the cat that was napping with him. He held it out and stuck his tongue out at him. "Wanna play a game? I'll give it to you if you do play with me." He smiled, bouncing a bit and letting his tail swish. ❈ If you can't, well it's not really you I'm singing to. ❈

A large smile came across Kaito's face when he saw that some random kid had the cat they were looking for; but just as quickly as he had gotten that smile, it had went away when the words 'Wanna play a game' came from his mouth. A sigh escaped from his mouth, and a look of disinterest covered his face. He was hoping to just jump into this mission, get the cat and be on his way. Sadly, it was becoming more obvious by the second that it wasn't going to end that way. Kazuhiko mentioned something about getting this over with... And for some reason he felt like he wasn't just going to 'get this over with' he had some weird feeling that this was gonna be a long, drawn out process. He didn't even reply back Kazuhiko, and turned back to the boy who help the kitty prisoner. "Okay,so what do we gotta do to get that cat? Let's get this show on the road.." Kaito scratched his head, and sighed once again. This was probably going to annoy him.
(Kind pumped for this actually. xD)

He had a name and even if he hadn't told them it then that guy still didn't have to call him monkey! "Simple, you want this cat fire head? We're going to play a game of finding objects, one is me and the cat, another is a chocolate bar, you can't find me and the cat till you have it got it? I hid a stash off it somewhere in the woods...but I'll be farther out so have fun." He ran off, of course were the chocolate would be would be a note to buy a chocolate bar and some candy for him. Yep, he planned this stuff out.

1 - you meet a merchant who sells you the candy and chocolate so you don't have to search
2- you find the note but you have to run from a mama grizzly bear while having her cubs cling to you and nom on your legs.
3- you find the note safetly but...whoever rolled has their clothes suddenly ripped off by a running hippie who needed them for a fire.
4- you get the note, the chocolate then roll the same dice, even you find takumi or odd you lure him out with the chocolate. ]

(Damn, I was really hoping that you'd get attacked by that hippie...)
The man bumped into Kazuhiko, with a cart of some ort... And once again Kaito's face lit up. "A candy cart?! Did we really just get this lucky?!" This was surprising to say the least, Kaito normally had the worst of luck. And this time what they needed literally run into them. Kazuhiko angrily said 'Let's get the boy!' Kaito nodded, and dashed behind his partner. "What are the chances of that? That candy guy just ran into you. Talk about getting lucky!" The boy chuckled, keeping the boy with their kitten in his sight. This may have been plenty easier than planned.

Takumi kept running, when he saw they were on his trail he pushed off the grounds and swung in the trees by his tail, going a lot faster than he had been on the ground. Although he wondered if they could catch him?

They were in hot pursuit of their target, when suddenly some man who looked like a hippy came from seemingly nowhere and swooped Kazuhiko up and began running away with him. Normally if something like that happened, Kaito would have been worried. Like a powerful rogue ninja was going to hold him hostage for some ryo or something of that sort... But judging by his appearance. Well, he was more worried about his friend getting molested. Hippies were sick ********. Though, Kaito had faith in his ally escaping, in which he did. The hippie also followed in pursuit; until Kazu had swan dove into the earth and reappeared before the cat thief. "..What.. Is going on? Cat theifs, hippies, and people jumping into the earth face first like it's water. What did I do to deserve this?.." Luckily Kazu had reappeared before their target, trading him the chocolate, then snatching the cat. The genin stopped in his tracks, yelling to his friend. "Nice! Now, Kazuhiko let's get going! Back to the village! Go!"

He smiled and took a bite out of his chocolate, YUCK, it had nuts in it, he smirked and climbed over to cling to his chest while his tail stuffed the chocolate in his pants. He grabbed the cat and swooped down, scampering away with it. "Nope, I hate chocolate with nuts so guess I'll go give this back to its owner~" He smiled, going back to the gates. ❈ If you can't, well it's not really you I'm singing to. ❈
