A Fatal Fairytale Happy new decade, everyone. 0: I think they've just totally forgotten about the Reve Rouille... Will it now sit in everyone's inventories like a half forgotten, half written story sits in the mind of a writer? Occasionally swimming back to the surface, but hiding in that dusty corner of the mind for the most part? It hasn't evolved in over two months or some period of time like that...D: It makes me sad.
And yes, happy 2010 everyone!

kerminatrix Wolffy000 My friend is playing with the Dropkick Murphys on tv. Ballin'. at the Winter Classic? who's your friend? we recorded the game and we're only at the end of the 1st period right now, so we saw the performance not too long ago. Yeah, that was it. In fact, she was looking for a recording of it, so if you can upload that part of it anywhere that would be pretty awesome. All I found so far was some guy's cell phone recording. I didn't catch it myself, so I still want to see it, I think she has short red curly hair and is a violinist, but it's been awhile since I've seen her.

I was like "who's that girl? Since when is there a girl, other than when they have the merch girl sing on The Dirty Glass?" Alas, we recorded it on our dvr, and we deleted it after we finished watching, not that I know how to get something from a dvr into any other format... but we were watching it on NBC, so maybe their website has the broadcast somewhere?

I figured as much, but still worth asking. I'm interested, but not so much so as to look too hard. I figure she'll point me toward it sooner or later.
She's been trying to find bands to play with since she started going to college out there. Berkley, I think. Kind of cool she gets to do stuff like that.

You know what? They got along fine before I met them all, and sure, I miss hanging out with Tim, but I'll still get to see Allie, and everyone else understands - I don't need to make myself miserable by forcing myself to spend time with someone everyone admits to being annoyed by.
I wish so much that I didn't have to work today. ._.

Weird. I ordered a CD on the 28th but the seller never contacted me about it. Then when I get it today the CD's underside has barbecue sauce on it. wtf.....don't eat chicken wings when you're sending out an order! D:<
Hopefully it will play well. It was only for $6.

I take away my truck.
Problem solved! biggrin

These "Midnight taco" doritos do taste more like tacos than I expected, but they're still not great.
Rather, they just make me wish I was eating tacos. Or doritos. Or both.

So you too have discovered the magic of taco chips. We're in love with them because they taste so much like tacos... you can even taste the lettuce! Everyone who tries them has the same reaction. "Whoa."

Ooh Midnight tacos. Never heard of them but now I want to try them. Too bad every time I order something from Taco Bell it makes me feel bloated and slow. I use to love it. ):
AFF: Ellipticals are nice. They burn a lot of calories and it doesn't feel like you're working out at all. (:

Everyone who tries them has the same reaction. "Whoa." The lettuce is what really caught me off guard, but it's missing the greasy "cheese and meat" feel I like from my late night tacos. It just makes me kind of sad. Well, it makes me really want a taco, but whatever. Not that I'm surprised they didn't try to include that bit. And yeah, not only do I never actually eat out, but I haven't thought to buy anything to make mexican food besides chorizo. But if I were going to go through that effort I would just make tamales instead. Tacos always strike me as a "What kind of leftovers do I have?" food. Speaking of diet and exercise, I should probably use that treadmill that is taking up space at some point since I don't want to go out lately.

I think I would have to defend noodles as the ultimate "what's in the fridge" food... Last night I made steak and portabello pasta (or whatever the hell those mushrooms are called) with leftovers from a day ago, and three days ago, repectively. Another time was tomato basil chicken garlic pasta. Nom.
Ellipticals kick treadmills to the curb, man. My knees usually start hurting after ~5 minutes on a treadmill (old woman that I am >_>), but 10+ on an elliptical and they're fine.

I would too, but I've been on a non-wheat diet lately and I don't have any rice noodles or anything else. So I've been in a weird funk on what to actually make that doesn't use flour.
And eh, I walk everywhere anyway, so it isn't a huge difference to me. But I don't belong to a gym, and I'm sure as hell not buying any exercise equipment aside from weighted clothes. Plus I just fixed up the basement a bit and there is a huge treadmill just sitting there, so might as well use it. Beats walking around during the winter when I don't have to.
And I'm not sure what bothers me more. The fact that "erotic flossing" really is kind of erotic, or the fact that I make that face myself.
