"What I can do." She replied at once. "I can't get back inside the wall to help Maric and can only hope that Talon got away. I can't solve that problem. Which leaves the root of the problem: Drake." She unconsciously balled her hands into fists when she thought about him. "He's the reason the Guild are afraid. He's killed several of them already and they are scared he's sent moles to infilitrate using his knowledge of Kyralia. The answer would be to kill Drake." She sighed. Or was it? Was the answer not to lose sight of the goal she had set herself, or were the other things going on more important?

Stratford eyes closed as he listened to her talk. She was talking of cold things, and yet her voice still filled him with some kind of happiness. He could not put his finger on why, but it did. His eyes reopened slowly when she finished. "If that is your plan, you should rest. Dennis will arrive tomorrow. Then we will go on his ship and find Draike. Then you can end his crap."

"Ok." Arianeira said, running her fingers through her hair distractedly. "I suppose it won't help matters if I'm too tired to think straight." Her eyes met Stratford's and they were troubled. "Do you think I'm doing the right thing?" She asked him softly.

Stratford's eyes met Arianeira's with a expressionless look, "Do you think you are? Thats what counts. Not what others say." His hands twitched faintly. He longed to hug her so she'd feel better, but feared the contact would annoy her.

Stratford automatically moved forwards. With this girl, half a seconds kiss was nowhere near enough. He kissed her back, then stepped back himself.
