Here's my perposal to everyone.
Order.
We need at least one hardass Mod, why? because the guild has gone under in a matter of minutes, everyone made their own threads and now no one is in one place and it's like the thread AND the guild died all at once. Here are my suggestions in an easy to follow manner.
THE THREADS (that stay * indicates a sticky):
Chatter*
Post * (Greyon's critque and redline should be merged here with it)
Links*
Announcements/Rules* (with the fate thread moved into it)
Naked Avis
Fannypack (by brenji but name to be changed to something simple)
Coloring book (named changed to something simple)
Who are you (change to a simple name like Artist Profiles)
SUGGESTED TITLES:
Fanny Pack Fanlisting = just Fanbanners/listings
another Satsu-essque thread = Coloring books
Who are you - Artist profiles
As harsh as it sounds I believe the others should be deleted, because they are making the whole guild a mess and a headache.
As for the order and rules, there should be guidelines for all threads, only subjects pertainting to the theme of the thread should be posted, no chattering nothing, just what you go for.
In the post the picture should be posted, followed by a short explination or none, and only other posts made by others should be a serious critque or a thankyou or a suggestions to the art.
The chatter if juust exactly like the DTAAY origional thread, you can post shmooze anything there.
The naked avy should only have posts of naked avy's or edit requests, no conversations, same with all the others in that like fashion.
PLEASE PLEASE!! Ask for more dedicated mods (I WISH I could've applied, but they were locked before I could, I have no life and I'm always on gaia, and I'm an oldbie.) I would've loved to have been a mod, and I know Dukkie would have liked to also for the reasons of order. please.. read this and take it into consideration!
Another suggestion before MAKING a new thread of personal thread you should get permission from the maker of the guild or one of the mods.

The only thing about that. Is you're taking away half the fun of the guild away. I agree we should delete some of the unnessasary or kind of duplicated threads, and some guidlines to thread making should be set up, but I don't think that permission should have to be given to make a new thread.
Really it's not as bad as you think at the moment. Trust me.

And I don't have the patience to spend a week waiting for it to straighten up, having to search through pages of threads for the latest post.

Okay I can see you guys are pretty set. But at least think about what I'm saying.
We get rid of the spam first. The threads that actually don't have a topic. This means keeping Dukkie's sig thread, Chibi's thread, U+K's thread and those like them.
Then the duplicate stuff. Such as the multiple Ama threads.
Then guidlines for posting. Things like if there's already a thread on the topic post in it, not in another. Only make a thread if you have a topic. Don't just make random chatter threads.
And the reason I disagree with the asking thing is this is everyone's guild. I believe someone came into DTAAY one day and told us we should, it went from there. Everyone donated to it. Everyone has a bit of stock if you want to put it that way. They should be able to post what they want within reason.

We're just asking for a simple clean orgainzed thread, orderly suggestions could be made, and despite it being everyone's Mods were set and so should rules, to make everything smooth. We arn't taking away anyone's right, just asking for people to be considerate.

im not a mod, and i prolly have no say in whatever, but i think there should be a certain level of fun upheld in here still. i mean, if EVERYTHING is mod guarded it takes away the fun of the DTAAY.

It's not that much of a dramatic change it would just cure the endless flood of random unneeded spam/threads. That's all.
just...order, ya know? I'm not saying stop having fun, I'm just saying at least keep it NEAT to it's easier to navigate.
Besides it's just a suggestion/perposal, not a law, besides Turi might just say "No." and that'll be that.

Okay guys, here's what I've done.
I've set up a Suggestion thread. I really don't want this to become a huge thing.
State your case there and we'll see if there can be like a group wide solution to this problem.
