Belle nodded lightly to Dontee's response about magical creatures, shifting her backpack on her back to keep herself more awake. The more she was moving, the better. Ya, I actually tried to talk to them whenever I recognized someone who wasn't human. Any chance to get any information at all about the Army of the Defenders was one I was willing to take... which is why I've always got my bow and arrows and knives with me. Can never be too careful. she said gently, suppressing another yawn. She'd had to resort to using violence to get herself out of bad situations more than once, although it wasn't exactly her favorite past time. She liked to avoid violence when possible.

When Dontee asked how tired she was again, saying she could rest on his back, she sighed gently, glancing up to him with a soft smile. I'm exhausted, but honestly, I'll be fine. I just need to keep walking. I'm afraid if I sit down for too long I'll just fall asleep. she said softly, knowing very well it was true. She didn't want to fall asleep on Dontee's back, so she wanted to keep walking. She was sure they'd be to the headquarters and least relatively soon, and hopefully they would allow her to rest there. She could only hope.

Dontee could understand that things went wrong at times with people from another race than humans, that situations could turn violent rather quickly if it's just you and them... which is why he carries a katana for when he is in his human form, because not many races who appear human would charge at a man with a katana... though, occasionally they will regardless, which tends to turn unpleasant fast. He usually tries to refrain from violence, but when it happens, it happens... and he wouldn't be alive today if he wasn't able to defend himself in such situations.

When she said she just needs to keep walking, he frowns, shaking his head.
"I'd much rather you sit and rest now, rather than make it to the Defenders HQ and passing out cold from exhaustion... I wouldn't care too much if you fall asleep, for I hardly can feel you on me and you obviously need some rest... that, and I don't think it'd be very safe for you traveling while tired." He says before looking forward. "... and if you really don't want to fall asleep, I could be sure you stay awake. I could wake you up by flying you around."

Alyce kept her steps silent as she walked, slowing her pace only slightly. Okay, so that must have been the reason for her prior feelings. But even so, she couldn't shake the feeling that he wasn't the only one watching and following her. There seemed to be something more, something hidden that she couldn't place. She couldn't help it. Perhaps she was just being paranoid? Or there was something around her that didn't want to be seen. And for some reason, images of the creature from earlier wouldn't leave her mind.

A "wait," brought her steps to a halt. Slowly, she turned her head around, light, ice blue eyes almost seeming to glow in the darkness. It was the male she had seen, and the one she believed was following her. She made a brief glance at the hilt of a weapon coming from his back, noting that he had a rather large weapon. Yes, she has definitely seen this man before now. Her eyes focussed on his again, her face emotionless, waiting for him to say something else.

Alexander slows to a stop a few feet from the woman when she stops. When she turns around, the first thing that he notices is her very blue eyes... to blue that Alexander sort of got a bit distracted by their presence before shaking it off. He removes the rag from his pocket bag and opens it up to reveal the droplet, it squirming very violently... wanting to return from the rag back to the creature it came from. He extends it to be sure she sees it herself. "This droplet attracted my attention to you while you were running along the rooftops... it seems pretty responsive now... I am assuming it has some attraction to you, that or it just wishes to follow you... So, any idea what this is?... I found it at the bar." He asks, feeling she'd know more than him.

He could tell by her supernatural athleticism and her overall emotionless gaze that she wasn't just some human... that there was something else about her. Perhaps, he surmised, she was an assassin of some kind. It was acceptable, for her icy eyes seemed like something that said “I kill humans for a living”.

Lucius Carmine
۩════════════════════════۩
Status: Cautious
Location: In a tunnel
Company:Alyce (without her knowledge) and with a large sword

۩════════════════════════۩

xxThings were going smoothly at first, what with Alyce unaware of his presence. Then came in a rouge element; a man with a large sword. Lucius remembered him; he caused a fight at the tavern Lucius was watching that evil-emitting woman. What was he doing here?! Lucius noticed the rag, and a black smudge; himself. "Dammit! Stay where you are!" Lucius commanded his fragment, with variable results; the smudge was unable to leave the rag, but it was suddenly unmoving. Lucius would have to be careful, because if he get's exited again, the fragment may attempt to move rigorously. "If I could just get that rag..." Lucius had an idea; while still hidden behind his illusions, he released a single insect of his; a type of spider, about as big as Alyce's hand. The spider, hidden in the shadows, crawled above the man with the sword. from the darkness, without a sound, it dropped onto the rag, grasping the sludge between it's "fangs". Lucius had the smudge go onto the spider, and as quickly as it came, the spider attempted to escape.

((Oh yeah, and I'm going to be gone for a week. Just assume Lucius is... Around. Unless there is some sort of, city-wide disaster, then assume that he's not around. k thx bai))

((Lol... well what if everyone leaves the city?... Wouldn't that mean he wouldn't be around? wink ))

Alexander squints his eyes, spotting and feeling the spider land on the rag and attempt to escape with the droplet. He quickly clutches his hand and crushes the spider in the rag and pokes the droplet out of the spider's fangs and back onto the rag. He didn't fear spiders; no matter the size... they were just pests to his eyes. He picks the crushed spider up from the rag with his other hand and tosses it aside before looking up to the woman, looking her in the eyes.

Eyes trained on the male, she watched his every move as she stayed still. If he attempted to strike her, she wouldn't hesitate to make two halves out of him. His hand reached into his pocket, and Alyce tensed. However, when she realized it was only a mere rag, she relaxed again, and turned a bit more to face him fully. He spoke, and she listened, eyes now focussed on the rag. Why would a droplet wish to follow her? "I.." she began, eyes narrowing at it. The drop was moving around uncontrollably, violently. As if it, a simple drop, had a deep desire for something. When his words mentioned it wanting to follow her, having an attraction to her, a chill crawled down her spine. Perhaps this had something to do with it.

A large spider suddenly came down, and was on the rag. Everything was so quick, but so clear at the same time. This could not have been an ordinary spider. She was around them too much in her life to think otherwise. Simply dropping from above onto a rag, and just as quickly beginning to go up again. Within the moment, the male had his hand clutched around it and crushed it from all sides. He got the droplet off of it, and tossed it aside. Her eyes rose to meet his again, wondering if he knew of something. It was then that she realized, he looked rather human. She pushed the thought away.

"A droplet controlled by someone, or something," she said quietly, keeping eyes locked on his. "I've had the feeling of being watched or followed for some time now. Something is telling me that you are not the only one in this area," she added. If this male knew something, she wanted to know. Especially if it had something to do with her.

Alexander keeps his eyes locked on the woman's, which he found more intriguing the longer he looked in them. He crumbles up the rag before shoving it back into his pocket, keeping his eyes on hers. "Well... she told me little new about the droplet... Oh, well, I tried." He thought before crossing his arms. "... So, tell me... Are you human?" He asks, a small smirk appearing on his face as if already knowing the answer, keeping still as well and keeping his eyes locked on her eyes for a responce.

Sarabelle looked up at Dontee, who's dragon form was frowning at her now, and shaking his head. She listened to what he had to say, preparing herself to argue back, but she had a feeling with how tired she was, it was going to be a losing battle. She didn't have the energy to argue with him about this. She let out a heavy sigh and stopped in her tracks, looking up at him. Ok, I'll sit on your back and rest, but if I fall asleep, just say something to me, or something. I'm a very light sleeper. she said lightly, watching him with a slightly grateful and slightly irritated look in her eyes. She didn't want to accept his help, but she knew that he was right - she didn't want to just pass out from exhaustion as soon as they got there.

Alyce's eyes narrowed slightly. He wasn't looking away. Really, it was almost a sign of aggression. If she knew he was within her race, there probably would have been a fight occurring by now. A sign of aggression, and a sign of dominance or challenge. It was never taken lightly with the higher ranks, like herself. She refused to remove her eyes from his, though kept her face emotionless.

The male crossed his arms and began to speak again. Asking if she was human. "I could ask you the same question," she thought, but did not say. Instead, she kept her eyes locked on his. "Of course," she said, urged to bite her tongue afterwards. "Me, human? The very thought makes my skin crawl," she thought to herself. Even so, she did not trust this man enough, or know him well enough to say 'no.' In her mind, she likely never would. "And yourself?" she asked, almost afraid to hear the answer. He probably was a human. He looked the part, but Alyce has also been passing as one in this place as well. For all she knew, this man could actually be a dragon or something.

Eve gave Chaim an uneasy look as he spoke of the Peackeepers "As long as they stay outta my business I don't care." She stated

She stared at the open sign of the café absently, and gave Chaim a thank you smile as she walked into the building.

She paused lightly as she was hit with smell the strong smell of coffee.
Eve walked over to the counter and asked for a pot of Tea with milk on the side, that's what she liked most about that particular café it served tea, not that she didn't like coffee but she's super sensitive to the caffeine so she has to be careful when drinking it. She turned her head and asked the Sea Angel what he would like and not to argue with her about who's paying because she was and that was final.

Dontee nods as he slows to a stop and lays to allow her access to his back if she was to walk/crawl up his tail and onto it... seeming as the most practical route onto the back. "Alright... I'll try to keep a conversation flowing..." He said before closing his eyes to give some thought to a lasting conversation. After a short moment he opens his eyes to ask "So, how did you imagine this day would turn out?... You know, as you approached the park."

Alexander knew better than to remove his eyes from the woman’s, feeling almost like a staring contest... except blinking is allowed and... well, it isn't really a game, more of a way to say to each other "You better not try anything funny", though he knew they couldn't just stare at each other all day... but he also didn't want to be the one to break the lock of the eyes.

He looses his smirk at her response. His gut told him otherwise, but since he couldn't prove otherwise... he couldn't call her a liar. He keep his eyes locked on hers, searching for a trace of something telling him she was lying as she asks if he himself was human. To this he smirks. "Ah... she says "of course" for if she's human, as if there wasn't a possibility for anything else... yet she asks if I am as well..." He thought, seeing it as a sign that she knew other races walked among the humans. He shrugs his shoulders lightly, keeping his eyes on hers.
"Yes... also a dragon slayer." He says, adding such to see how she responds to the knowledge of being in the presence of a human capable of killing a dragon on his own.

The small hairs on the back of Alyce's neck began standing on end. The male wasn't looking away, and it was clear he wasn't about to. If she had been in her wolf form, her hackles would have been completely on end already. Alyce didn't plan on breaking their little stare, but at the same time, it would get annoying to continue staring. She was patient with these sort of things, however.

By the look on his face and the loss of his smirk, it seemed like he didn't believe she was human, and only human. With her return of the question, his smirk seemed to return, and he first answered with a slight shrug of his shoulders. He then answered yes, and said he was a dragon slayer. To the answer of yes, her face almost seemed to darken with loathing, and a low, quiet growl was emitted. Quickly, she corrected this, and pretended as though it had never happened. "I see," she said quietly.

"Bloody humans," she thought to herself, eye beginning to glow faintly again. "Good for nothing beings of greed and belligerence," she continued within her mind. She was sure her opinion on humans could not be changed. She hated them, and it was likely to stay that way. The only reason she didn't strike him now was the fact he said he was a dragon slayer. Who knew how he could fight with a lycan, even one like her?

Rather than speaking further on the human subject to protect her own race identity, she parted her lips to speak once again. "A dragon slayer, huh? I have never heard of such a thing," she said, despite the fact she has, again and again, all for various reasons.

Alexander continues to stare into her eyes as he awaits for her to speak, beginning to wonder whether he should just try and find a way to break both his stare and her stare without being found to be the one who broke the stare... for he viewed it as 'loosing' a bit.

He looses his smirk slowly as he begins to notice something in her eyes, for he refused to look off from them, that read she was angry... also believing to hear a low growl... but then quickly the sound of growling ceased and the dark spark in her eyes was lost. Next an eye began to glow faintly, making more of the case that she wasn't some normal human... now, it didn't prove her not human... but it made him understand that she had something under her sleeve that she wasn't planning on straight out telling him... which seemed like a more interesting challenge on trying to figure it out than to keep his eyes locked.

His thoughts, though, were momentarily diverted when she said she never head of a dragon slayer. He chuckles, shaking his head, no longer taking the effort on keeping his eyes locked. He then leans against the tunnel.
"Alright then... you stick to that answer... "never heard of" a dragon slayer..." He says before removing his sword from his back slowly, but held out a hand as to show he wasn't going to use it. He then brings both hands forward and uses his telekinesis to let the sword float, showing it for the woman to see. The sword seemed to glow lightly as it rotated as it is suspended in the air and very slowly drifted from Alexander's reach and towards the woman so she may see it better. "See this big sword, right here?... This is used to kill dragons... a special sword. It can cut into them like a real sword does a human... but a neat thing about it is that it makes me stronger the more I kill dragons... Unfortunately, there are very few dragons around now-a-days to kill... but that's quite alright, I don't need to be any stronger than I am now." He says, by the time finishing the sword was merely an arm's reach away from the woman... but then Alexander raises his hand to have the sword's hilt shoot right back into it and slides it back onto his back. He crosses his arms and squints his eyes. "Now, you don't want that to run right through you... do you?... So tell me the truth... Who and what are you?"
