Green Tent

Yeah, he was lying. But West wasn't about to get into that here, not where everyone could see and potentially hear. He raised his head until he could see over the top of Yaya's, his chin nestled between her horns, and gave her a brief squeeze. It was comforting, as much as he hated to admit it, and he didn't even mind Holly watching. Mostly.

"Nope. Jus'some dinosaur boats n'tea parties." He sighed softly. Before all that terrible s**t had gone down the house had seemed almost playful. He hadn't really appreciated it then. "Right, Holly?" West didn't know if the ghost would hear him, but he looked over at her anyway. It was starting to become a chore even to whisper, mostly because he was going about it with all the force of normal speech. He wondered what would happen if he just got up and left. Another faint sigh escaped his lips and he closed his eyes for a little longer than a blink before opening them again.

Blue Tent

"Thank you Riley.." Bul muttered and kept free of eye contact for just a little while longer until Mal dismissed him slightly. "Thank you again, Malodore. Good luck with the rest of em-" he said offering Lattice a saddened look. She actually lived through some of his nightmare.

"Riley I don't know how much it'll take for us to prevent it but I will work so hard to get there." Cautiously he reached up to pat the sides of her arms in a mutual embrace.

GREEN TENTTT

Red's dead.

The answer to Jericho's question was simple, but she couldn't bring herself to say the words. He would have known the professor much better than she did- in the first place, Vieve had never had any personal contact with Red, only heard of her.

She stepped off the chair, swaying slightly, reaching upwards to take the bottle back, though naturally, she couldn't reach, what with the difference in height. The tent spun around her- the salamander felt awfully sick, recalling the hollow skeleton left- the only thing that had been left of Red. In her mind, she was picturing herself as that skeleton, drained of FEAR, and gone forever. Not how she'd imagined herself spending the rest of her life. Briefly clinging to Jericho's shirt for support, she let go when she'd managed to regain her balance.

"she died," the salamander choked out, speaking more to Jericho's shirt than.. the dragon himself. "that's.. all that's left."

Green tent

Examining the bottle, Jericho noticed that it was filled with a loose substance, one he was very familiar with. Ash. Vee soon clarified the meaning of this as she brought up Red's death once more. This time around, it hit him a little more solidly as he realized he was holding a small bit of her remains.

Remains.

Meaning, she hadn't dissipated into FEAR particles. The denial he was experiencing was weakening.

Staring at the vial, he clutched onto it briefly before looking down at the Salamander that had basically buried herself into his shirt. Patting her lightly on the head, he nodded slowly.

"I.. I see..."

He didn't know what to say.

GREEN TENT

He hadn't given her much of a reaction, but she hadn't expected him to scream and run circles or something, anyway- the Jericho she knew (though not well, admittedly), had always been sort of.. silent, stoic, and even though she'd thought of those qualities as boring, once.. If anything, that comforted her slightly- she'd come back to Halloween to something familiar.

"Mmmm." There was something particularly therapeutic about the way he'd patted her on the head, although it was something she wasn't used to. There.. hadn't really been anyone to hold her close and reassure her, ever- and so she simply assumed that wasn't something she needed. More than that, though, was Jericho's warmth, soothing the chill she'd felt from Red's fire.

Fire that both burnt and froze.. fire that had hurt her, a fire elemental. Drawing away from Jericho, she looked up at him again.

"Can I have that back?" This time, her voice was a bit stronger, more insistent. She would place the bottle in her room- or even carry it around- as a reminder that she had to grow stronger.

Green Tent

The dragon lingered onto the bottle of ashes for a little longer before he relinquished it, returning it to Vee. Again, he found himself glancing over in the direction of the portal where students streamed on in. Red.. was really gone wasn't she? Nothing but ashes and a skull, all due to those damn humans.

And then he had to wonder... if he hadn't broken his leg and been on that trip, could things have gone any differently? If Riley was there too?

Sadly, no. Most likely not. There were many other strong students that went, and even the horsemen had gone.

The somber mood made him uncharacteristically quiet. This was probably a good thing, though. No doubt Cricket (and the patients) would not enjoy it if he started yelling in the medical tent.

Purple Tent

Before Riyo had a chance to respond to Mot with either an apology or a shoot back at him, the nurse came to check on her. The ghoul began wincing at Cricket's gentle touch. There was a nice wound to the side of her head where a rock had torn her skull a new one. Damn rocks and their senseless violence.

"Uh." She started, the slowness of her responses giving a clue that the ghoul might not all be there. "Well... My brain feels like it's grown two sizes too big for my skull and wants to crawl out through that teeny hole above my ear." Teeny was a bit of an understatement, and her way of explaining things probably wasn't very helpful. "And my legs are in some kind of disagreement with my head over the appropriate way to walk, because they seem to want to bend this way and that." Her tone lowered and picked up at random places while she gave this... Intricate explanation of how her body was feeling. "And the breeze on my shoulder feels like salt and broken glass." What a lovely self-inflicted wound that was.

"Basically... I feel like s**t... But I can see and hear." Not that it couldn't be assumed by the copious amounts of blood flowing down her head and shirt, but it managed to get a stupid smile on her face.

Until Mitsu came in to hug her.

"ow." Was all she said, though it seemed she wasn't going to fight it this time, like she had neglected to do with Hel. Half of it was because she was just too tired to fight. The other half... Well... It seemed to bring some semblance of comfort to her teammates. Comfort that, while she denied that she wanted it, she knew her teammates could use it.

"Okay Hel. Close the door on your way out." ... What door?

Entering Green Tent

Not really suffering any injuries or anything, Mei proceeded to enter the green tent. She would have to meet up again with Bul, once he had some proper medical care. The only thing she appeared to be really suffering from, was shock. In all of--she never expected anything like that to happen! Her mind was practically spinning with questions and thoughts.

Taking a seat nearby, she rested her face in the palms of her hands. For now, she would just think everything over.

GREEN TENT

"Thank you." Taking the bottle from him, she held it tightly, instead of putting it back into her bag. She had no way of knowing what he was thinking about, nor did she... particularly care, though she noted the distant expression on his face with some measure of... sadness?

The students who had known Red- and who knew she was gone- were probably grieving, and Vieve had no intentions of involving herself in that. Nodding politely to Jericho, the salamander turned and took a few shaky steps towards the entrance of the tent. Clutching on the fabric somewhat awkwardly, she paused, then turned back.

"Jericho.."

As her hand slipped, drawing the flap open, light hit her. It wasn't particularly bright- Halloween never was, but it was enough to disorient her, making her forget what she wanted to say. Biting her lip, she stole a glance at him, then exited quickly, one hand clutching the bottle and the other the strap of her messenger bag.

Just a while more before she reached her dorm room.

Green Tent

Roch stood, pulling the bug off gently and putting it on the table by the spookies. "Enjoy little guy," he said. The welt across his back would heal soon enough, and the glass cuts just stung like a sonofawitch. He would clean them up in his own room, since it would take so long. He hadn't wanted to spend any more time here than he had to.

With that he stood and left, intent on getting some sleep. He had stuff he needed to do.

She died. She died. Professor Red was dead. She died. Red died.

... Toby could hear it in from nearly every direction as she stumbled, not only from the thick bodies of the green tent, but all the others, the bystanders, what felt like the open air. It was an absolutely devastating collective whisper she just could not handle anymore, setting her jaw as firmly as she could and tightening an already white knuckled grip around Iris's harness to hasten the scareon along faster. Hooves be damned. Migraine be damned. She was intact, she could walk, and she no longer wanted to be here under any circumstances.

Perhaps she'd have to apologize later to Team X for abandoning them without a proper reunion, of sorts, but for now? None of that mattered. All she wanted was to get out of there, and get beyond this place which still felt too strongly of the dead, and she could only trust blindly in the guidance of Iris to accomplish that.

Thank Jack his lead was true at the end, pulling her gingerly through the shufflnig bodies, the cots, and the crowds without any run-ins, and off.

... Maybe she would stumble her way on down to Tomoko's dorm to pick up poor Tiny and see how the kitsune was doing, or maybe... just yet, she wouldn't even manage that, for now. As long as she wasn't in this place hearing that talk any longer, it'd be alright.

Or at least, that was what she kept repeating to herself the whole way as she finally took her leave: just another shaken and defeated youth among too many just the same.

((Toby has exited, off and away~))

GODDESS OF TENTS - PURPLE ==> RED

Cricket looked over the wound on the side of the ghoul's head, making a small face before she brushed her hand directly over it. However, like Mot had experienced, somehow the hand applied absolutely no pressure, despite the fact that the nurse had laid her palm flat against the surface in question. There was even a small sensation that would have been -tickling- as the centipede like marking in her arm immediately flocked to her wrist and began to clean, glowing brighter in the process. When she pulled her hand away again, the area was, while still bloody, significantly less raw looking.

The description of how she was feeling seemed bothersome, however. Cricket, like with most everybody else in the tent who had been put underneath her care, was quick to offer the ghoul a cup of the peach flavored medicine.

Following that, she took up an ice pack and offered it to the ghoul before moving to take care of the wound on her shoulder instead. It was quicker work, if not mostly stitching and bandaging.

"Lay down with the ice pack on your head until you feel more oriented. I don't need you falling into something outside on your way back to your room and cracking your skull back open." Cricket said, her voice only vaguely firm, before her attention turned back to the red tent and the ghoul resting underneath it.

"Excuse me, I need to go take a look at another patient. If you need anything more, I'll be back shortly. Otherwise, rest. I'm sure it isn't the most helpful of things to do, but..rest and medicine will make you feel better."

GODDESS OF TENTS - RED

Okay, she had a lovely patient underneath her red tent. That was..curious, yes, but Cricket was quick with her attentiveness, looking over the ghoul who was laid on the cot. She smoothed a hand over her shoulder, then checked her pulse, lifting her arm to look over the cuts and bruises that had formed on them. These poor students seemed to have been through hell, hadn't they?

It was a bothersome thought to the ghostly woman, but even a check of the head told her there was no significant head trauma. In fact, it really seemed like all she needed was to rest. A good sign, but she could see how she'd ended up underneath the red tent.

The nurse sat down and took a moment to clean up the cuts and any blood that was showing on the ghoul, even going as far as to shift her clothing to check for any bleeding underneath it, though she didn't strip or remove anything from the demoness. Some glass had to be removed (why was there glass in the students?), but overall she was looking healthy. Excellent. She got up, moving to pull a few things out of her first aid kid - a cup to put some cherry flavored medication in, a water bottle for drinking (as this a bad idea?), and then she moved to the green tent for a moment to take up both her insectoid companion, but also a couple of the spookies to take back to the red tent.

She set all of them on a table she pulled over to set next to the ghoul for when she woke up, leaving a note with it:

Eat this before you go anywhere.

Blue Tent > Purple Tent

Once he'd recovered enough emotionally from his visitation of his nightmare with Riley, Bul had worked up the courage to face his OTHER fear and enter the tent he should have been in. The trumpets of heaven played when he peeked in to see that Cricket was NOT around this time but another staff member (so he assumed of Malcolm).

"Oh thank Jack..." he sighed rubbing his forehead with the back of his hand. Painfully he limped over to an empty cot and sighed. Mal had taken good enough care of his leg which of all his appendages were most conditioned.

"Soooo ready to go home. I wonder how Mei is.." he pouted, wanting to see her quite badly.

Purple Tent

It was hard to explain why Damien felt such restlessness. It was just agonizing to lie there on the table and wait for treatment, when a few paces away nurse Cricket was taking care of a patient, the tent was filled with groans and winces from those who suffered at the hands of Red's mercy flames and survived.

"Hey Bu why were you over there?" Demi began to bark out to his partner in crime transferring slowly from the blue tent. "Burns are treated here, Half wit beast." he said as matter of fact. His tail lazily swished around, keeping away from his lower back and its sore flesh before he had to breach the peace with a cry of pain. "She's probably getting treated, hopefully not as bad as we are dude."
