"Forgive me for being so bold..." Alwine reached out and started to wipe Chuppi's face with one of the bandages. "They're sterile, I always keep some with me, just in case."
The haunt gratefully waved to Siddie before saying, "Should we take her to the batroom to clean her up? Or would somewhere else be better?"

Riley had much, much more to ask about this Siddie that Sammy had come with, but she was unfortunately blocked from further inquiry by being outed yet again. Was nothing sacred anymore? She snatched her eyephone away, and immediately moved to close the website completely. There would be no more accidents. She sighed, and eyed Sammy warily. You are so funny. Ha ha. My laughter. It is contagious. It fills the room with tinkering of angel bells. This was all said in perfect monotone, with a blank, irritated stare. Don't tease me. It's.. did her voice get just a tiny bit softer? .. a touchy subject.
She put her phone away, snapping the pocketbook closed with an abrupt snap. Subject change, subject change.. You look lovely this evening.

Riley could ask as many questions as she wanted, Sammy would in turn request just as many of Riley and that one little Critter post. Tapping her chin she rolled her eyes at the rather stone cold response Riley gave her. "Who said I was teasing? Okay maybe a bit..." She grinned. She was so going to rag on Riley for this. "Touchy? You and I need to talk then dear."
Waving her hand she dismissed the compliment, "Tell Siddie, she dragged me to the Maul to get this outfit, though I give her points for knowing my taste and not going for anything lacey." She paused for a moment, "Still, we need to have... a chat, maybe over a dr-" she paused, the punch was a bit ruined. "Or something else actually...."

Siddie nodded. "The bathroom sounds good. Do you have something to change into?" she asked Chuppi. The smaller ghoul didn't look like the sort to carry extra outfits, but one never knew.
She moved a little so that she and Alwine, together, would be mostly blocking the room's view of the soaked, upset chupacabra. Damage control was obviously in order.

Normally, Riley would have railed against the idea of talking out her troubles. They were hers, and she worked them out on her own. This time was just a little different, and she realized that she was actually.. sort of.. possibly.. considering it.
Maybe.
A talk. Riley's eyes looked dubious. Talking about feelings (having feelings, for that matter) sounded so.. so.. unnatural. I suppose. Ah. Maybe.
A flustered Riley was an unhappy Riley, so she quickly sobered up and grabbed on to something else for support. Siddie has excellent taste, then. I will be sure to tell her when she returns from, ah, wherever she went.

"You...you love my normal clothes?" This came as a surprising yet pleasant bit of information to learn. She had never cared one bit what anyone thought of what she wore normally. To hear that it actually appealed to someone was...shocking. And enough to keep her cheeks in crimson levels. Of course that wasn't difficult to accomplish. Especially when talking about her tail. LW was proud of the red fluffy thing.
"I..." LW just shook her head. "No. I don't want to know. Though I'll probably hear something about it later." Maybe. Though judging by how proud Gabrian was, LW wasn't so sure she would get the story from Ren this time. She'd have to beat it out of him. Not that she could ever BEAT him at anything. SIGH!
A few choice words were muttered softly while her head was still hidden. Oh she would get that gryphon back! She just had to figure out what to do. It would be nice of her cheeks weren't so red right now too. If only it hadn't been dancing! "I didn't do any better or worse." She sighed and felt her lips twitch at what else Gabe said. A finger was placed under her chin and she let him lift her chin until she gazed up at him. Of course she smiled when he said something about it. It was difficult for her to keep her sullen feelings when this night had too much to offer. "I'll always smile for you, dear demon."
Nodding her head, she agreed to take a break from the dance floor. "Alright, and don't be silly!" She slid her arm around his waist and tilted her head up, giving him a quirky grin. "You won't make a fool of us!" So far, she was the only one that would probably succeed there. "So what would you like to do now, handsome?"

Sammy did enjoy pushing Riley's buttons, something about making the usually controlled and in power ghoul squirm was like a guilty pleasure. However this was also a bit about actually helping a friend, after all it was Riley who had given her a pep talk last time she had personal issues.
"A talk, just us, no doc, no Siddie, Nuk, Shehk, just us alright?"
She gestured towards the side of the room away from the others, maybe they could slip outside for a few minutes? "Ah she does have good taste, I think she went to help someone out the girl who turned the punchbowl over sadly... but that's besides the point my dear."
She turned taking Riley's hand leading her away without another word. "You and I have something to discuss, and since I can't project my voice we need somewhere a bit more quiet... and we need to make this quick before Siddie comes back since I did promise to come here with her."
Okay that was a lie, she asked Siddie. DETAILS; THEY DON'T MATTER REALLY!

They were an odd pairing, to be sure. He'd had enough anonymous questions on Groanspring to know this. How could he not, when it was being rubbed in his face?
Yes. Ashford was far from pleasant, generally. He was tall, dark, and relatively creepy and deadpan-- he could see all of this, objectively.
The difference was that Thackery never seemed to mind. Even when he was blunt and dry, the other continued on, blithely content to just be. it was altogether unusual and unnerving in the best way possible. The small hand resting on his clothed arm was of some assistance in regards to calming him.
It didn't change the fact that the boy's ensemble unnerved him more than the party, but still. The Boafox was at least behaving politely, which is more than he could say for his own minipets. He thought of the wreck Hisstofer would be making of his room right this second, and winced.
A vaguely nervous and toothy smile and a lingering gaze (he was unused to being able to...see everything at eye level) were pointed at Thackery. "Some beverages first would be preferable. I am a bit parched." He thought of some of the updates from Groanspring on his I-Fright. "However, we should likely inspect the contents of our glasses quite carefully before ingesting anything that may or may not be just punch."

Alcyone had taken quite awhile to get ready and look nice for the dance even though she had no idea what was going on. After the auction, she had felt rather flustered at what had happened and she had no idea what was going on. She had no idea who the boil that had bid on her was though she was going to this dance no matter what.
Her mother had supplied her with a new dress. A different shade of blue this time, closer to navy, the dress draped over her shoulder and was floor length. It had an unusually high slit along the side but Alcie didn't seem to notice. This time, Alcie decided to braid her hair into a fish tail and it lay over her shoulder. Her bangs were brushed to the side and she felt rather nervous as she was walking to the dance.
As usual, she was really late and the party was already in full swing by the time she arrived. Glancing around, she didn't immediately see any familiar faces but she began to move across the room.

Riley stared at Sammy warily as she led her off the stage and away from Junko. If you'll excuse me, she barely managed to send to Junko before she was carted off. Something to discuss? She repeated to Sammy, instantly both intrigued and worried. Did something happen? Was something wrong?
She was completely clueless as to what Sammy felt she needed to discuss, and made it her highest priority to find out.
Of course. Give me a moment to tell the gnomes. Her voice had a grating edge to it as she said the word. She turned, and all of the judges straightened up when her eyes fell on them.
I'll be back momentarily. Don't do anything.. funny, while I'm gone.
"Yes sir!" Half of them said, while the others chose "Yes Ma'am" instead. Then they began bickering on which phrasing was correct for the situation. Riley rolled her eyes and sent a quick thought to Malodore, letting it know that 'Something is wrong with Sammy, she needs to talk. I'll be back in a moment', before she nodded to Sammy. Okay. Let's go then.

Christof boggled.
So far, the world outside of his Master Creator's laboratory had been filled with infinite possibilities he had never even considered, a wide variety of potential new Masters, endless possible projects that involved everything he loved from grave robbing for parts picking to gadgetry to general minioning to a megalomaniac, to the hard study of his classes but...
Now, he liked ghouls, he knew that much. They had the most appealing parts that he couldn't seem to shake from his pubescent patchworked mind, slender legs and roaming fingers and lovely little faces and billowing hair and those strange mammary glands that seemed unnecessary and a strange evolutionary trait and yet he could never seem to tear his eyes away from them whenever a pair jiggled into view, but he never seemed to know what to DO about it.
And so, at the end of the night, he would usually head back from classes with a handful of Skulloroid photos from the camera he had pilfered- borrowed- from Barth's room, posted them up on his wall, and sharped his tools and stared and sighed and fidgeted until he found something more productive to do. Calder kept trying to explain things further, but whatever the kelpie had had to say on the subject just didn't make any sense to the hunchback. Too many concepts reminded him of the jolly good feelings of Christmas and he rejected them immediately in prejudiced revulsion.
Then he had found those Lips over the interweb, quietly stalked her page for ages before certain questions had caught his attention and he finally got the nerve to talk to her... it was easier to talk on Groanspring than in person, he found, for obvious reasons.
And now those lips were pressed up against his. What... what... what was he supposed to do?? What did this mean?? As far as he could recall, he had never been kissed in his life. His Creator certainly had never read him bedtime stories and given him a kiss goodnight. That was for little Demons or Reapers or Monsters, maybe even little Zombies, but not little Igors. Igors were cleaned up and put away for the evening with the rest of the equipment. They weren't... shown affection.
Each shoulder pat or hair ruffle the various students he had come to view as Friends or Masters had sent thrills through his body... and it hadn't even occurred to him that one could feel MORE until Miss Yaya had engulfed him in practically a full body grope at that late night Truth or Dare party had the concept of such physical affection even entered his mind.
And now she was kissing him. And his lips were unstitched. And his tongue was burning. And they were standing in the middle of the dance floor. And he could feel his body responding in ways that were alarming to the young hunchback. He pulled back, heart racing and palms sweating and his face positively crimson as he boggled at her before clearing his throat and shuffling back a few steps.
"Are... are.... are you th-thirthty I b-b-bet you're th-th-thirthty I'll ah.. I'll get you thomething to d-d-drink um. Er. I... I'll ah..." His voice cracked deeper for a moment before returning to his usual youthful tenor and he turned sharply on his heal to make a b-line for the punch bowl.

ROUND TWO - FIGHT!
Well, it certainly looked like they had competition. Grinning at his dark-skinned temptress, marveling at the way that her hair tousled about like ebon silk, fluttering in the wind. She did indeed seemed to have a shine all her own, and inspired, he would do his utmost to keep her proud of him. There truly were days, after all, when he wondered why she cared to keep Sharra on her arm.
As they slid across the dance floor, Sharra whistled at Arachne, rather impressed by her fluid grace. Apparently spiders were doing more than spinning these days, hmmm? Leading his lady, the demon boil pulled Hadiyya with him, spinning and turning across the floor in time to the music, almost effortlessly avoiding the less apt dancers...
...take Calder and Colette, for instance. "You all right there, Calder?" Wrenching his eyes away, Sharra felt a touch of sympathy for the kelpie. He had had rather unfortunate luck of late, and the poor boil really did seem to cheerfully stumble his way through life. Fellow really needed a good wing-man to compensate, though no way in hell was the nergal volunteering. Well...perhaps on Moondays.
And ah, there was another one. Wincing as Tybalt all but went flying through the air as though someone had chucked him, Sharra focused on the matter at had once more. He simply couldn't allow himself to get distracted, after all. With some gusto, he stepped into the next turn, spinning the marid out on his arm, almost coming to a perfect point in those shining black shoes as he did so, the boil's poise flawless. Pulling her back in against him, the ghoul cradled in his arms for a moment, hips swaying - he twirled his captivating lady once more, and sliding in close, he braced himself, and went to dip her, a great care taken not to get carried away with that clawed arm of his, as it was the one currently doing most of the supporting.
And out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of Christof getting snogged by the pretty demoness, and the corners of the blond boil's lips curved upwards. "Good going there, Christof!" He encouraged as the igor rather hastily excused himself in a burst of embarrassment. This was good news for the nergal, as perhaps now the other boil would leave Sharra's ghoulfriend alone.
However, they'd had a good idea, and tilting his head, he went in to snag a kiss from his lady.

Even as the two were wandering away Sammy knew she had Riley in her clutches. The other ghoul seemed to think something was wrong with her which was by all means the wrong guess. No, what was wrong was that Critter post.
When Riley was done her few mental bursts she turned to her hands on her hips, head on a tilt and her eyebrow raised up high. "So what did the critter post mean Riley? And no trying to run off or worm your way out or I'll hit everyone on Groanspring with the same question I asked you." She tsked, "You dolt, your kind can't feel love? So why are you so mushy around Malodore. And don't tell me your not. You are different around him and you know it."
No messing around, Sammy would nose into this as bad as Israfel jumped on Shehk and Nuk.

She didn't exactly wince when the cloth was wiped on her face, but Chuppi didn't stand their either. Instead she moved with the others moved, her small frame shaking as she had her hands still clasped over her mouth. It seemed as though she still really wanted to cry, wanted to wail, but was doing her best to prevent others from having a really bad day. It was only when the trio had moved out of the room that she allowed herself to have her mouth free and she took a deep breath before responding to Siddie.
"Extra clothing? I have...well, my track suit in my bag in the other room. I was planning on doing some running before I came to set up for the dance but I came straight here instead."
Chuppi pulled at her wet hair, taking down whatever style Lizzy had painstakingly put into it. It made the Chupacabra miserable to think that all the effort her friend had placed into preparing Chuppi for the evening had gone entirely to waste, and that feeling of miserableness settled in the pit of her stomach like a heavy stone. It was the first time in a long time that the monster could remember having a stomachache considering what she was capable of digesting. She then turned to Alwine and forced a weak smile onto her face. It was apparent she didn't know what to think about the whole situation, but she wasn't going to be rude.
"Um . . . no, never mind. Lo siento."
The monster hardly waited once she'd grabbed her bag (it was on the way to the bathroom, not surprising) and as soon as they were in the bathroom she quickly shed her outfit and dropped it to the floor. She stepped out of it and shook herself dry, much as an animal would, her hair splaying about her head as the wet locks stuck to her face.
It didn't occur to her that she was nude, save for a pair of panties. The chupacabra obviously didn't feel the need to wear a bra.

Riley wheeled around when Sammy finally opened up to what she wanted to talk to, and her eyes narrowed to slits. My.. the.. what?! Riley practically cried. This was.. I don't.. I thought something was wrong with you! You had me worried there for a second! Riley hedged, before crossing her arms in front of her. Her cheeks had turned indigo. I don't know why you're so worried about it, anyway. It isn't. I just. Why are we -talking- about this? She hissed, bringing her hands up to cover her face with them. This subject obviously had her quite wound up.
She peeked her eyes out from between her fingers, and her eyes held a great deal of confusion. For the first time, and probably the last, she would admit something to Sammy that she refused to ever, ever say to anyone ever again.
Sammy. She whispered. I'm, ah. I'm scared.
